These folks have been calling my home and cell for well over 2 years claiming they need a statement or one will be provided for me !  Well then DO IT !  Never heard of Alpine Direct who claims to have deposited money into an account of mine that was closed for a year before their alleged deposit.  If these folks were legit you'd think they would have taken "action" by now.  Can't even get a legitimate address for them.  New Hampshire State filed and won a Cease and Desist case against them. Plus the alleged lender is not even licensed in my state.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE MONEY

Got a similar call from "RMS Services" stating they were an arbitration company working for Alpine Direct Services.  Said they were calling regarding a civil suit that will be filed against me in court over money I supposedly had borrowed from USAPayDayLoans.com back in 2008 and 2010 each in the amount of $200.  Said I could settle out of court today by paying them $430 over the phone but if it goes to court I will be asked to pay $1,236.  They asked me to show them proof that these loans were paid in full.  I did not borrow nor do I owe this company any money.  This is a scam.  Don't fall for it.  Don't give them any information and certainly do not pay them any money.

I just got that very same call 5 minutes ago, and. They were trying to tell me that I was going to jail if I didn't pay 460 dollars that I SUPPOSEDLY was loaned. I said honey, that is fiction and nor have I ever gotten a loan from any such place. Have a good day !!! What is this world coming too.

I just call this 18442336457 number because a young lady left me a voicemail stating I own Alpine direct service a payday loan company. The lady told me I own $875 but can  Settle for $430. I told her I don't record borrowing money from this company. She also told me they will forward information at my job to get the money. I am definitely going to a lawyer tomorrow so she can look into this.

Where do you go to see if they're licensed in your state? I've received phone calls also and I never received a pay day loan from them and there threatening legal action.

it's often hard to even identify who they really are, since to even engage in routine legal violations, they also work hard to hide who and where they are.

You could contact your state Attorney General.  Many states require licensing of debt collectors, and any company claiming to be a corporation or LLC will be registered with the secretary of state where they are incorporated.

They called me a couple of months ago.  I told them I needed paperwork showing where I took out this loan 5 years ago.  They never did.  When I asked questions they said I took out the loan in Knoxville, TN in 2010.  They had my last 4 of my SSN and know my bank at that time and email.  They had me worried except I had not lived in Knoxville since 2006.  I never took out a payday loan in Knoxville.  This is so crazy.  They said they would see me in court.  I said I would turn over to my layer.  LOL Then they became upset,  I hung up.  I guess I will see if I end up in court.  They expected me to pay $1400 for a $500 loan I didn't take out.

i just got a call from the today 9/1/17 from a 202 number which is in DC. I hung up and the lady called me back from a 984 number which is in NC whish is the state im in. they told me I took out a loan and they put the money into a old bank account I had and that they will have to take me to court since they cant get their money back. im like if yall put it in there, then it should still be there since I closed that account years ago. be that as it may, I never once took out a payday loan. talking about something will be placed against my ssn. I stated that I was done talking and hung up and blocked their number.

These people claim they gave me a payday loan in 2012 which I have no record of and are threatening legal action.  If I don't pay they say I will owe an additional $1500 fine + court fees.  Don't want to pay additional fines but feel this is a scam.

I just received a phone call from them today (11/22/16)  and I was told the same exact thing. They told me that I took out a loan back in 2012 and that the money was put into a bank account of mine and I told them that this was false the representative could not verify the name of the bank that I banked with back in 2012 and it just felt like a scam. They threaten me with legal action and then hung up on me. I'm not going to worry about it because I know this is a scam.

They just called me. And told me they're going to take me to court for taking out a loan in Jan. 2013. Wth??? I didn't take out any loan. I'm so scared because I don't know what to do. I know this is a scam and lady on the collection service keeps telling me that I better watch out and they go hard in court and will have all the documents that state I took the loan out. And I said there is no proof on my account that states I got a deposit from Alpine. And she was like well its up to you. They have all the info. And what was soooo weird they knew my account info and SSN?!!!!!!!

If you know without a doubt you have never taken out a pay day loan online, then there's nothing they can do. But I do urge you to contact your local police department so they can have a heads up on what's going on. And if they have your correct bank account number, I would get that changed immediately.

They just called me two days in a row. Given I am engaged to a police officer, I knew right away how to handle these crazy people. I have NEVER gotten online and gotten a pay day loan. They claimed that had two cases against me. One: Attempt to defraud a service and Two: Bad check. Well problem #1, I only have business checks. I don't and never have had personal checks. Problem #2: They have the wrong last 4 of my social and an address that I've never lived at. PEOPLE: DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. YOU WOULD BE CONTACTED BY A LAWYER AND A REAL LAW DEPARTMENT WOULD NEVER BE AS RUDE AS THESE PEOPLE ARE OR HAVE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INFO. And not to mention, a real lawyer would have your real information and would send a letter before harassing you over the phone. Not to mention, if you wrote a bad check, the police would be looking for you. They said I could either give them $2700 over the phone to settle or just pay $2000. After I told her, that is not my correct last 4 of my social AND the wrong address, she said that I told her it was correct. I said yes I know I did but I wanted to find out who to make my police report out to. Well then she got super rude and said they would see me in court. I explained, you can't take someone to court over something that isn't correct. They're just scammers trying to get money out of you. Contact your police department if they do have your correct information and you know without a doubt you have never tried to get a loan online like they claim you have. Also, change your bank account number if they have that information, IMMEDIATELY. When you contact the police, write down anything these people say and make a report on it. Hopefully, they will never take your money without you knowing it, but atleast you would have record of them contacting you, in case you needed to sue them.
