"Derrick" claimed the company "Florida Resort Promotions." Found nothing about this company. Another ripoff company most likely working out of a  call center.  I can not wait until these felons are put in jail.

A legitimate company would be using the Do Not Call List.

Hope managers of his company find some jail time.

"Chaz" from Florida Resort Promotions called this afternnon @5pm offering a free vacation to Orlando and a 3 day cruise. He first wanted to be sure I had a credit card & willing to make a purchase. When I explained my hesitancy regarding bogus phone offers, he quickly assured me several things. 1)His company was approved by the BBB. 2)I could verify the resort and cruise company and website. 3)My credit card would file charges and "come after" a non-legit company and the money wouldn't be charged to me. Maybe I'm too leary, but red flags appeared, and I told him I had more leaves to rake. I could call him back in an hour, but "Chaz" said they were only allowed to give out the phone number to paid customers. I said that was an aweful business tactic, expecially if someone is calling to potentially pay. He said he'd try to call back on Monday.

    Kelvin from Malaysia
I think I had become a victim of this scam company. I received a phone call from Florida Resort Travel last month(July 2011). I gave them my credit card number and bought a package for 4 persons to Florida, Ft. Lauderdales, and Las Vegas which costs USD998. After few days I felt something was wrong because they would not reply my emails and calls. Is it possible to do a credit card chargeback from my bank? It's really frustrating. I initially thought of having a honeymoon with my wife after my wedding but got cheated. Whoever has the same experience please give me some advices. My email is kelvin_koay_16@hotmail.com

I am actually confused about this. I went through this in May last year. I did get in touch with my bank to see if they can get my money back. GE security traced this and informed me that the company is real. GE gave me an email address and I have been in touch with them via email. The person who I emailed is stevie@holidaytravelinfo.com.
I actually cant go now anyway for personal reasons and posted an add on ebay. Someone informed me (through ebay) of all of these complaints posted here.
Have any of you people got in touch with your banks/credit unions to get your money back? I would be interested in what your money lenders had to say.

got a call from disney promotions tonight and was told I was a winner of a total of 5days and 4 nights at disney world and 4 days and 3 nights at another resort plus a 4day 3 night stay in cancun with dolphin swin and a disney dinner cruise with a chance at winning 1million dollars 7 day unlimited car rental all for 278.00 per person for two and I could take two more for free all I had to do was give him the transit numbers for my bank account and when I told him that I did not have them handy her pushed so hard for them by looking at my cheuqes or statements and last off he told me to look on my online banking and again I told him that I did not have that info because we had just moved but all he kept asking for was the transit numbers and that my bank would not make me pay for a bogus deal. what a line of crap told him to have a nice night and hung up on him, call the number back and all circits were busy of course but the number was from orlando so not sure about it all better play it safe than play it broke right.
