I found a charge of $29.95 on my checking account. Originally it was listed as "Health Plan". I would not have signed up for that as I have Medicare and private health insurance therefor I do not need or want anything from this company.

    I didn't order this i dont know why i was charged 29.95 im very upset i want to cancel now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i too have been charged the 29.95 for something i knew nothing about. when i called their 1800 number could not get in touch with no one but the automated machine. i have reported it to my bank and discontinued my debit card. hopefully that will help but i will be looking for those charges next month to see if they try again. if they do i will be closing my account.

    i just went through my billing statements and there were 2 other charges from them. why dont the better business buero have them on record? this is ridiculous.

    I was suckered in by these people, I already have insurance and Medical plan: I don't need what they offer.

    I found out 29.95 was taken out of my daughter account starting in March 3 2010. She 17 so the account has my name on it. I was told by the bank there was a overdraft fee on that account. I call the number on the bank statement and found out it was some type of health plan something we didnt needed and not something a 17 would be interest in if we did. I call this bestbenitmvq and listen to the so call tranaction. THEY get you by saying you have won a gift card. And then the person start talking so fast you dont know what you have agree to and this was a teenager all I could hear my daughter saying Ok and aright but that was enough, She will never get back the money she lost. I want people to know about the people so you can watch your back,they are good at what they do.

    Ok, its now 8 mos. later and it just happened to me, this morning at    5:48 am oct.5 2010 so when will this ever stop?  WoW!!! im reading  about hundreds of people getting ripped off in pretty much to same way, cant the gov. do anything? these [***] took money my debit card which is issued from the UNEMPLOYMENT office we are both noy working and struggling as it is. Im frickin pissed.

    This is stealing 29.95 has been taken from my acct after I spoke to them the last time. I am on a FIXED Income I cant afford this being taken from my acct.

    I don't know how they got my debit card number but I had a 29.95 charge on mine Jan,28th. I called them and they ask for membership number and I told them I never heard of one.Also on the automated service they ask for my card number and since I'm going to change it I keyed it in and checked it twice.No account on record!! I told them I was going to do everything I could to get the money back and click,he wasn't to friendly.

    Have just finished conversing with someone at company called MVQ Homeworks. Various charges on father's credit card account who is deceased and all the customer service person said was they couldn't tell me what the charges were pertaining to and what they did because of it's confidentiality and proprietary. Pretty big words for can't tell you and it must be in writing.  Who am I supposed to write to as I ended up talking to different people. #888-394-6932 and is in Connecticut.  A woman by the name of Charlotte spoke with me and I was somewhat disgusted with all the game playing and while this person was looking up the account I talked to someone offline telling them what is this stuff about proprietary C**P!  I guess the lady thought I was talking to her and she gruffly said "Excuse me???" I told  her I was talking to someone off line...basically it's none of her business since she is gameplaying with me...They said they are cancelling membership immediately as I told them.

    Bloodsuckers preying off dead people!!!  Anyone else have problems with this particular company???

    i dont know these theives neither that charged 199.00 on my discover which is a theif card the rates are terrible ...but i hope someone can get this stopped ...fraud .credit cards abusing their rates

    File fraud disputes with the bank, and with FTC and your state Attorney General.

    Also, if you are handling the estate, be aware that at your father's death, all checks and debit charge authorizations after that date became void, even those he may have authorized while alive.   It is the job of the executor or administrator to dispurse payments from the estate for legitimate debts.  

    "Authorizations", even signed checks, made while alive do not survive death.  Demand all the money back, and don't pay any debts out of the estate without proof they are really owed.

    May apply to credit card charges too, check with your probate attorney.

    Yes , That`s right it`s fraud , i have tried the same , but the company is Best Benefits Health Plan from Wachovia bank and they take 28,95 every month .

    I`ve also tried with Wells Fargo but this time was it the company Gevalia Coffee some suddenly took some money from my account and send a coffee maker and some te . So watch up you all and take care of your Bank Accounts .

    I have been getting debit charges from Best Benefits, Budget Savers and Privacy Matters monthly (each)for over a year and cannot get rid of them! I've called all the 888 #'s asking to be taken off their list and nothing happens. This site has helped me with some ideas.  I hate to close a checking account I've had for 35 yrs.  Cripes!

    I have just read my credit card statements, wow they have charged my credit card every mo,$29.95,and a $1.00.What company is this, that would do this? Never ever heard of them? How did they ever get my name, credit information etc....????? so confused, mad to,,,, if you could e-mail me and explain if you know anything, Please...help with answers>>>!!!!!!Susan Thanks <appreciate>

    I'm an idiot for letting this happen to me, by not checking my Visa statement closer. It's my own fault. But these people are as low as they come. What I found out was that NorthStyle catalog company supposedly gave my credit card information to "MVQ Discount Club" back in July of 09 when I made a purchase on the NorthStyle web site, and MVQ has been billing me ever since. It has added up to $298.85 since July of 2009. When you call a company and they have two options, one to speak to an operator and the other to cancel your account you know that's trouble. I really thought that NorthStyle catalog was a reputable company, but that is not the case. It's hard to say how much NorthStyle made off of this scam, but it was definitely easy money for both companies.I hope this helps.....
