I like many others I just read about found my account had been charged 2 times in the amount of $19.95. I had never received any correspondence regarding the services I agreed to check out at on a 30 day no risk option to cancel. I called 1-800-475-1942, spoke w/ a telemarketer, and told her I wanted a credit immediately, and that this is a well known scam, and I would call another number to report them to a watchdog fraud site. She immediately said she would credit the amounts, posting in 2-3 days. No questions asked. I told her I wanted to confirmation # for each amount credited, which she did. We'll see if in fact they will do this. Will let this site know what happens.

Doing monthly bills and noticed a $19.95 charge by WC *Value Plus with an 888-833-7279 MN # they're only available M-F, & suggest I try a barely audible web site; program.stop.com which lists a slew of companies.  Truth be known some internet pop up is probably what got me here in the first place!  Since that didn't prove fruitful, I immediately called my Credit Card co. and their "auto answer device" informs me my "new" balance is now $39.90 (2x19.95).  When I got thru to customer service BOTH charges were credited back to my account & they said they would stop any future debits.  Still intend to call the 888 number Monday, get the low down on the 5 W's, and report them to the office of my state attorney general.

I recently noticed that their had been 3 charges of $19.95 to our account.  I called these people up and told them that we never authorized these transactions.  The supervisor then explained that they would sent me a request form that i would have to fill out and send back in to receive a credit.  She said that they could not immediately credit my account because it was over $50.00.  On top of that it takes 3-5 business days to process the paper work and credit the account.  This has been the worst experiance that I have ever delt with.  These people are scam artist.  They don't even have number to the corporate office.  They only give you a po box address to file a complaint.

I had the same problem. They have been calling me non stop for the last 3 months. Every time they call me I tell them no and I tell them to put me on a do not call list. They say they will be I continue to get phone calls. I never told them they could take money out of my account and about 2 1/2 months ago I noticed a dollar missing out of my account and next to it said budget savers.  The next time they called I yelled at them and told them that I never authorized this and that I never got the gas cards that they said I would get if I agreed to signing up.  The last couple of times they have called me they have used different names but it's the same person and I recognize her voice.  They are even saying now that they are from my credit card company.  Yesterday they called me and then I went online and saw that they took $24.95 out of my account.  I called my credit card company and they said they would credit my account for the amount and the 1 dollar they took out before.  He also gave me a number to the company and I called and yelled at the lady and she had the nerve to say "Ok I will cancel the membership YOU signed up for!" I never signed up for anything! Well today I decided to look back further in my bank account and see if they took anymore money out and I found one from june 1st on top of the one from june 29th. So they are going to have another nice phone call from me tomorrow. Now I know never answer the phone for a number I dont know.

I got six calls from these people in one day each time I flatly refused and told them not to call again. One month later the debits started on my account. I never gave them my card numbers, they are scam artists but we have to watch who else we buy from because some gave them numbers for a purchase we did make.

I had the same gas card story. These guys have not sent me anything but have pulled money from my credit card account. I don't know about all of you but I ordered Jeff Pauls Internet Millions and that was probably the worst mistake I couldve made. Not only are these Budget Savers people taking money, Internet Millions is recharging me for what I already paid for. Calling them and my credit card company tomorrow

Go to www.programstop.com. Unfortunately It's a Saturday and I am trying to cancel everything, but as you all have read above, they are conveniently closed. The website I just posted has a simple form to have things 'immediately' cancelled. And they say they will refund any recent monthly charges. I filled out the form but will also be calling Monday and making absolutely sure that it is all cancelled. (I have yet to receive any paper work they said they were sending me, and I'm not going to wait around to get it, while they conveniently make it take as long as the trial period lasts so they can charge my account) It might not be a bad idea to call your banks, or credit card companies to have these companies blocked from making any further transactions from your accounts. This company is a scam. I have NO idea how they got the information from a certain bank account of mine, since neither my husband nor I have used it to buy anything on the internet. Good luck to all! I know it's a ridiculous hassle.

I too became a victim to this outregous scams I believe I received a phone call several months back, regarding free gas. I immediately told them no! I ask them how did they receive my number, the babbled something incoherantely. Guess what? months later I notice a charge for $19.95 was taken from my account. I called them on Saturday and of course they were not open. Believe me I will be in touch with them first thing this Monday August 3, 2009. I will be following up and will advise at of my findings.

Thier number is 952-258-2000 when i called them and let them have it after a brief time they credited my account. do not let them tell you that they will send you a form in the mail. They have the authority to give you your money back wright then and there. GOOD LUCK

IT HAPPENED TO ME TOO!  I ordered something off from the internet and 3 weeks later this number calls me 3 times while I'm at work! I was only at work for 5 hours!  After I get out of work, I call the number back to see who it was.  As soon as I call, somehow they know my name, address, and everything!  They said that I would recieve a package in the mail and I would have a certain amount of time AFTER I got the package to cancel my "membership".  Well this was 5 days ago, I still haven't gotten a damn thing and they charged my checking account 29.95!  I never even gave them my checking information!  This is such a scam, and what do you know...its sunday so I can't call them.  because of them, I'm over $50 negative in my checking account!  If they don't give me my money back, they're gonna wish they never called me!

I just happened to go into my online account through my bank and also noticed a charge for $19.95 from these people. I immediately called the number and demanded that they cancel this membership. I also went online and cancelled through their website.

I never got solicited over the phone and the only thing I ordered online was
magic jack, I am positive that magic jack gave them this info. If not then I have no idea where this "membership" came from.

This company needs to be stopped. How can we get them pulled? Must be a lawyer somewhere in this group.

I had the same type of thing happen with this company.  My wife received a call that supposedly was from Mastercard and asked for the last 4 digits of the card to "confirm".  Of course, they use this as their authorization, even though the sales pitch didn't come until afterwards and she did not say yes or accept any of it.  After noticing the charges, I contacted the company and was told that a form had to be mailed out for me to sign to request refund.  I filed a complaint with the attorney general's office and then called back the next day and spoke to a supervisor and got the same story.  In looking at one of the other posts, I did some research on Provell and found that this company is a subsidiary.  I did more research and found a way through to some of the higher-ups at Provell.  I received a call and email the next day that all funds had been refunded to me.

I had a similar experience with this company.  I received a phone call also to verify something I didn't even sign up for.  I thought nothing of it and hung up.  The next time I checked my checking account, I was charged twice for $24.95!  On my statement it said "WC*BUDGET SAVEWC*BUDGET
800-".  Could someone fill me in on how to get a refund for these amounts and stop the charges?  I am not sure exactly which company this is for, but I think it applies to the above comments.  Thanks a lot!
