Recieved a aggressive phone call today from a Mike Stevens identified himself as an police officer stated i am being sued possible wage garnished for a payday loan dated back in June 2009 he had all of my info checking account, home address,my employer,refrences, email account i was truly upset and concerned then he asked did i want to take care of this Yes or No He really had me believing i owed the monies he was asking but then i thought whats the name of the company i owe he stated EME Marketing llc i asked for the number so i could get to the bottom of this and how much are my fees he states $780.00 which includes out of court cost he then gives me a number to contact this EME Marketing company(936)657-4224 i immediatly called the number which he had given to me and it sounded like the same Foreign speech as the man who called me in the first place I was also give the name Roy Wilson I asked him if i owed the claimed monies why has it taken one entire year to recieve a phone call from your company you guys don't believe in sending out letters this was after i verified this company US Investigation Bureau is a SCAM he denyed that was his voice on the previous number that he had given to me and still claims EME is a payday loan company....what so scary about this is i did apply last year for a loan and random payday loan companies would appear for me to apply Help how scary is that to have all of my info what do i do now that goodness that account has been closed for quite some time now

    I've been recieving calls from a carl miller with a heavy indian accent, and now a new stephen jones, they have been calling my job, harrassing my managers about a few payday loans that I owe, do the real Burea of Crime & Investigations operate like that?? They tend to get very hostile, when u ask certain questions! I see that alot of people are going through this,the number is 516-833-3172 and carl miller is 347-927-8214!the entire staff is indian! whats going on out here???

    THEY SAID I NEED TO PAY BACK A LOAN THAT I HAD TAKING OUT ON DAY MY SISTER TOOK GAVE IN THE MONEY AT THE SAME BANK AN I PUT IT IN MY ACCOUNT AT THAT TIME SOMETHING IS REALLY WRONG HERE

    Thanks very much for your info , I just experienced this with someone calling from New York with same info on a payday loan.  This is very scary.  I contactedd an attorney and he said that many agencies are aware of these folks and that the most important thing do not give them any money.  At the end of the conversation he more or less threatened to garnish wages, take my bank account and he would inform people that I was a criminal.  His name was Kevin and he had a counterpart in his office.  I will contact the FTC in the morning and provide the numbers the scary part is that they were able to access my work phone to reflect it was my office calling so I would pick up the phone.

    I have received a call from a someone identifying himself as Officer Daniel Walker he said it was regarding a lawsuit and it would be in my best interest to call him back.  I called the number back (760) 392-5048 and &86-484-1537.  He is very aggressive and rude and I did have some payday loans and I have paid them or paying them.  What can I do I am sick of these foreigner's pretending they are officer's...hopefully something can be done about this..

    They have been calling me for 3 weeks now. I finally got tired of it. I started calling them every 2 minutes. The man with the thick accent did not like it but oh well. They stopped answering the phone. When he did answer he said such vulgar language that I knew it was a scam. I will continue to call until they get the message.

    I just received a call from "Officer Roger Smith"....how original!! Who by the way has a foreign accent!!!  Said he was from the United States Investigation Burea....uuugghhhh!!  this is so frustrating....the number i was given was 206-456-1837, he called from 282-726-2524.....how do i make this stop??? Where are they getting my information from??

    DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY TO THESE SCAMMERS!! They are getting your info off of the internet. Random places- probably hacking something. I've been getting calls for months, when you argue with them it gets so intense you know its not real. I was told "you're just a wife, go do your job and go F*** your husband and keep your mouth shut", they told my hubby they were going to send people to hurt him, we are going to jail, they are going to "black list our SSN (which whatever thats not even possible)". Start messing with them and check out the reaction. Real companies can't say stuff like this, they would be under so many violations that they couldn't stay afloat in business nor be able to practice business. Try to make them mad and see what happens. Don't buy anything they say. They are using Magic Jack so they can make their numbers appear however they want. Have a voice folks, tell them to screw off and have fun while doing it! They took the time to scam you or try to, so give them a run for their money..

    I open some pay day loans, about two day ago some officer kevin jones call
    me to my place of employment is sound like korean or indian i know but he left a message to may coworker that he is calling from state bureau of investigation that i am criminal that i need to respond is soon is possible
    the message because that pressing charges again me. My question is can i go to jail if i owed pay day loans. This people charge me a different amount that owed almost the triple.  thank you, maria from el paso texas
