Recieved a aggressive phone call today from a Mike Stevens identified himself as an police officer stated i am being sued possible wage garnished for a payday loan dated back in June 2009 he had all of my info checking account, home address,my employer,refrences, email account i was truly upset and concerned then he asked did i want to take care of this Yes or No He really had me believing i owed the monies he was asking but then i thought whats the name of the company i owe he stated EME Marketing llc i asked for the number so i could get to the bottom of this and how much are my fees he states $780.00 which includes out of court cost he then gives me a number to contact this EME Marketing company(936)657-4224 i immediatly called the number which he had given to me and it sounded like the same Foreign speech as the man who called me in the first place I was also give the name Roy Wilson I asked him if i owed the claimed monies why has it taken one entire year to recieve a phone call from your company you guys don't believe in sending out letters this was after i verified this company US Investigation Bureau is a SCAM he denyed that was his voice on the previous number that he had given to me and still claims EME is a payday loan company....what so scary about this is i did apply last year for a loan and random payday loan companies would appear for me to apply Help how scary is that to have all of my info what do i do now that goodness that account has been closed for quite some time now

    This time I didn't answer.  I typed in this number--281-763-0444.  Here I am. They called awhile back and said they were some official from a bureau of investigations.  They said they had an outstanding warrant for an individual at the time I'd never heard of and were going to serve him at our address.  My husband was home at the time & he told them there was never a person here by that name.  They hung up & then I got to thinking--that name of the person they stated turned out to be our neighbor nearby.  I'd forgotten his last name.  I think they were maybe looking for him & saw we had a nearby address.  If I'd have caught on in the actual phone conversation, I'd have never been so stupid to rat out a neighbor's name anyway & say "oh yeah, he lives down the street."  What in the hell is going on?  I call this number back & it's busy.  I've gotten soooo many of these phone calls & the ones where they want to lower your interest rates SINCE I ONCE AGAIN PUT MY NUMBER ON THE DO-NOT-CALL-LIST. And now it's on my cell phone too.  Hmmmm.  I've had someone say I shouldn't have done that because these phone calls will increase.  Guess they may be right.  Too much information is available to those who want to pay a price for those websites where you can find out information about people.  If it's that available, what's the purpose of the FBI except to catch the bad guy if anyone can have access to that information.  The FBI needs to go after these creeps & their unwanted phone calls instead.

    I received a call today from and investigator who claims I owe money to JD marketing and he had investigated that I owe money to this company because they allocated funds to my account and gave my birthday and social security but I never had an account at the bank, he then told me to he was issuing a warrant and that my ass is going to jail, I tried to speak to a surpervisor and was not able to get one, I then call his number back and he hung up in my face,  what should I do.

    I got called by this number twice! and they said i owed a diffrent ammount each time. He had an american name peter. He said that if i didnt pay it i would be fired and arrested tomorrow. I told him that i wanted to know where it came from her said pay day cash which i have never went threw. I called the state police becasue it scared me and i didnt know what was going on. They told me it was a scam. Somone has sod my info to these people over in another country and they are trying to get money from me. I don't know how to stop the calls. the number they call from is 0000. They even called my work and harrassed everyone there.

    I just got the same call and my husband just called him back and now he dont want to answer the phone. He stated heisfrom the US iNVESTIGATION BUREAU. I called the FBIand they have never heard of this and its a scam. The guy also said his name is Roy Wilson and has a #206-801-6611. They couldn't give me a date or anything. Said they had a warrant and some more stuff out.Im just shock cause he had all my info.

    Today, I received a phone call from a person claiming to be from a collection agency. The lady had a strong middle eastern tone to her voice. She stated that she was with the US Investigation Buraeu and that if I did not pay 800 dollars, there would be a warrant issued for my arrest. I told her I never received a pay day loan, that I had applied but once I saw the interest rates and repayment options I opted out. She stated that there was documented evidence to support this cliam. I asked her to fax it to me so that my brother-in-law who is an attorney could look over the documents. She stated that she would not fax any paper work. I asked her whwere she was located and what her direct supervisors name was, she refused to tell me and hug the phone up on me. The number she called from is 1-803-335-1439. I believe this is a scam similiar to the above mentioned scams. If anyone has gone through this before, what should I do? Like many others mentioned these people have my personal information.

    I  too am harrassed by Indians. I can't understand their accent either so glad I am so glad fo this web site. I changed my my bank account, informed my employer of my identity theft and possible phone calls,  changed emails, passwords, and phone numbers.

    I received several calls over the last few weeks as well regarding this type of a situation. Today it got worse.  I was told that if I ever checked my mail that I would have received my paperwork regarding my lawsuit.  They also stated that I had 3 felony charges against me for "failure to disclose accurate information on a bank loan", "failure to payback a payday loan", "falsifying information".  UHM WHAT????? I asked who I owed and the response was "dont I know who have cheated".  What the hell is going on. I asked how much they thought I owed and was told $5034.  This is a really bad deal because my phone is blowing up daily with this crap.  What can we do?

    I've gotten the same calls twice now got one yesterday same crap told me I had taken a loan for 5000 dollars said I owed them $5486.87 . When I asked who I owed same thing you don't know we will come get you the police will be at your work and bring you to us I said really you do know there is no debtors prison in the US right he then said by hook or by crook we will get you . I told him that I was recording this and was going to turn this over to the US Atty General the line went dead ! I guess they think people are stupid I just tell them to come get some when they talk they sound from India but there name is Bill Parker I doubt that was his true name just tell them to FO and hang up !

    I received a call from US investigation Bureau today from a Seattle WA area code. I didn't answer just let it go to voicemail and it was threatening me with arrest, He had my previous address, and my SSN!  I have had payday loans in the past so it has me worried! I am unemployed at this time and have had medical problems this past year(heart) so I just don't need this harassment. He said he name was Officer Roy Wilson but he had a foreign accent, how does someone with the name Roy Wilson sound like some one with a strong turkish or middle eastern accent? What is this person up to and what is going to happen?

    The man also stated he was going to be at my house to take me to the courthouse!  None of this even sounds legal.

    The number Officer Roy Wilson called from is 206-400-6861.  Is there any way to stop these calls and threats?

    We just got a call for my husband from 911 (what?! how did they do that?) on our caller ID. The caller said he was 'Officer Frank Martin' from Washington. I said my husband was unavailable, and could I take a message. The caller (with English accented from India) stated my DH needed to, "Call back immediately," and gave 206-400-6861 as his 'direct line.' I checked google right away and found this site. What the heck is this scam?! My husband said to get a badge number if the "Officer" calls again....

    I just recieved a call very similar. My guy knew my social security number and loan info as well. I have recieved several messages from this guy saying I am under criminal investigation. In one of the messages he sounded very angry, which was weird to me. I got up this morning after arguing with him on the phone and checked my past bank statement that has a debit for a loan I paid back at the loan facility he was talking about.

    I even called the loan place to ask about my account, and sure enough, I do not owe anything on the account. Also, this guy was calling from a different state and had an Arab accent. He asked me if I wanted to settle the claim in or out of court. I told him I would rather not do either, because I hadn't a clue what he was talking about. He told me if I didn't tell him which, he would have to send the authorities to serve me papers and detain me until tomorrow's court date.

    I asked him why they didn't already serve me papers in a timely manner. He sounded very irritated at that point, so I just told him to send the authorities and hung up. I pretty much had a clue that he was a scammer, because of the fact that he kept calling, and when he called it was 2-3 times in a row each time. And also, I hadn't been served any papers for the crap he was talking about. He said I was being investigated for breech of contract, and check fraud.

    I'm really happy I found this site, to know that I am not the only one dealing with this, and I am going to report this guy, and his phone number to whom ever I can. Be careful people!

    I received threatening calls at my work place. These are foreigners from another country, maybe India, they have an accent and claim to be financial investigators for payday loans. They claimed someone made a complaint against me from the US Cash Loans. I don't have or never had an affiliation with US Cash Loans. A male person called from 206-801-3005  and stated he was Officer Mike White and he was from Financial Investigations and wanted to verify my ss#, he asked if last digits of my ss# was xxxx.  I told him no. He repeated himself and I said no. I asked him who was he and as he started talking it was difficult to understand him and I was at work so I hung up. He called my job back and left a message on my vm, threatening I had 48hours to call him back. I called him back when I had a chance and asked him what was his badge number? He said what? I said I need his badge number for my attorney and he hung up on me.  Then a woman called telling me they are from Financial Investigations and a complaint was made against me from US Cash Loans.  I told her talk to my attorney and she asked for his number. I told her I'll tell you what, give me your information , company name, your name, address, and number and I will give it to my attorney to do a research on you.  She hung up the phone and they never called back.
