HouseHold Orchard Bank Credit Card. I had a credit card with them until I was unable to pay the bill, at which point they closed my account with a balance of $1,639.15. Now after months of fighting back and fourth, they finally were willing to settle for $ 395.00 on my account as payment in full. So I sent them a check for that amount, and I thought that was it problem solve. Well I was wrong, come two years later they send me another bill from a different collection agency with a new amount now of $1,987.13, with the same account number totally disregarding our agreement we had, see they thought they could get another payment for a closed and paid in full account. They were wrong, so I am left with filing a motion with a fed lawyer who will sue them in a court of law! See they are violating of every state local, and fed law on the books. They need to be placed in jail for rights violations of all kinds!

I Got a phone call which left a voice mail saying that papers from the IRS were unable to be delivered and to call a phone #. Called that # and was told they were an answering service for the ADR group and gave me a # to call with a reference #. I called that # (still no one has said anything about the IRS) and was transferred to another person. I hung up during this transfer. Today I get a letter from the ADR group listing Household Orchard as the original creditor for a $1,887.37 bill. I did some research. Orchard bank was bought by HSBC in 2003, who in turn were bought out by Capitol One in 2012. This is a scam in every sense of the word.

My Mother recieved  a threatening call and my Nephew did as well about court proceedings against me. I called the # and gave them the case # they left. They said that I had a credit card opened in 2007 Through houshold orchard and they closed it in 2012 . It's now 2018 and they say their taking me to court for fraud unless I pay $1,687.00. I have been on ssd and receive  $1,161.00 a month since 2000. I have never had a credit card from them or any since disabled.  It's not on my credit report so what's going on. Said they've tried serving me papers but it's BS. They said I can settle for half if it's a one time payment or a payment plan of $167.00 a month for full amount. THIS MUST BE A SCAM. They said they cant mail me paperwork only email it to me. WHAT? Does that make any sense to anyone? Scam! How can there be no trace on my credit history?  I don't get it but I will find out. Mark,  April 17th 2018.

I am getting the same threatening phone call(s) from a 'law firm' in California demanding payment for a credit card that I never applied for and has never appeared on any of my 3 credit reports.  They give conflicting information regarding personal 'facts' and the letter that was e-mail was a bad cut and paste job.  It would not even print out properly.
This is a definite scam.  I will not engage with them but will try to find a way to file a formal complaint.

My husband just recieved the same call. He told them he has never had a credit card until he married me in 2009, in which he didn't have any credit, therefore he couldn't get a credit card for several years after we were married. And the only reason he got that card was through me. I applied for a card through Discover Card and just added him to the account, in which, I am primary card holder on the account. He was a truckdriver and I wanted him to have one for emergencies in case he ever broke down. He is no longer driving a truck and he never had to use it. We are so relieved to have read the other complaints.
    Thank you!

Sorry, I left out when they told him he had it. They said it was in 2004 for the amount of $7500. Again was told he had been served papers, which have not seen. They told him they would drop it to $4800 if he would set up a payment plan. He told them he would get back with them tomorrow. I decided to look up the name because I told him I had never heard of a HSBC cc. Again, Bless you all for giving your complaints!
