I just rec'd a call from a man named Peter Black and his email is peterblack@laywer.com in St. Petersburg FL claiming that I took a loan over a year ago for $500 and that I would be put behind bars by the Frisco Police Department if I didn't pay today.  He also, had my last 4 of my social security and told me that they would investigate the matter once I paid the money.  I guess I'm going to have to take my chances on that.  Also, his phone number is 727-827-8214 which is probably a ghost number.  I asked for the company and he said "The State Investigation Department".  Really?  That's it?  I"m going to call the local BBB and police to file a complaint on these people. Oh, the funny part is, he told me to wait at my house on Friday and that the Police will be here to pick me up!  LMAO!!! I wish I would!!!!!!!  Oh, and he had a Indian Accent! LOL!

    I got the same call from a guy with Indian accent. When I started hurling choicest cuss words,he hung up.I called them several times just to yell at them and scare them that FBI is gonna f@@@ them. So get on the offensive.How dare they!

    Got a similar call from a Officer Taylor (dont remember first name) saying that there was an investigation regarding my identity and that there was a warrant for my arrest. He claimed he was calling from the State Investigation Dept, and when asked, he said they are based in Albany NY. These guys also had East Indian accents.

    Don't take them seriously, they are just trying to scare you. After I told him that I knew this was a scam and that I was going to file a report to the police, he quickly hung up the phone.

      They are doing this to my mother and calling from a Police Station and scaring her. She is military vet, has PTSD, bi polar disorder and is manic-depressant and suicidal. They are driving her nuts and I've warned her to ignore them as it ha happened to me but she is very afraid and freaking out.

    I got a call today from my local police station said his name was Adam Smith ask me if I was at my home address be cause they had a arrest warrant for me and they was coming to pick me up I ask them what it was for they gave me this number to call 940-440-08111 and ask for Mike Wilson so I did he said the I had got a online loan from cash advance and that I had to pay him $425.67 with a green dot card I called my local police station and ask for Adam Smith they had no one that worked there by that name so I told them that someone just called me from there number and I explaned what they had said to me the lady at the police station said that the scamers have learned how to tap into there phone lines making it look like they called

    First I got a call from "Kevin" (National Criminal Investigation Bureau - 305-423-0092) that there was a problem with my social security account and that multiple charges were going to be filed.  Well I did some checking and the company is under scrutiny.  He tried to do everything he could to scare me into sending money.  He couldn't even get his story straight on who he was representing.  I just blocked the call.  Now I get a call from "Alex" (State Investigation Department - 813-515-1709) - different number - different company name - same scam.

    I also recieved a phone call from a indian man with a accent who claims he was the police department of New yourk.....they email me every day and tell me i have lost the use of my scoical security card....and stated i had a judgement against me same number of 310-742-4798---being charged with fraud and nasty and rude Andrea Johnson sent me the email and when i asked for her phone number and adrress she refused to tell me but then about three days later i recieved another email with the above phone number on it HOW CAN THESE PEOPLE KEEP DOING THIS AND GETTING AWAYS WITH IT---WHY IS SOMETHING NOT BEING DONW.  CATHERINE ANDERSON

    I JUST GOT THE SAME THING FROM DANA WILLIAMS. THEY HAD MY WHOLE ADDRESS AND S.S. NUMBER SAYING MY WAGES AND SS NUMBER WILL BE PUT ON HOLD IF I DIDNT PAY THEM 1900 TO SETTLE OUT OF COURT. AND THEY WANTED ME TO PUT THE MONEY ON A GREEN DOT MONEY CARD. BUT DONT SPEND NON OF IT TILL THE ATTORNEY OR THEY GET A HOLD OFF ME. I TOLD THEM HOW CAN I GET SUED FOR  SOMETHING I DIDNT EVER  RECIEVE OR NEVER IN A ACCOUNT THAT HAS HAS BEEN RECENTLY CLOSED... THE NUMBER I GOT FOR THIS DADA WILLIAMS IS.210 346 9692 EXT 2014... AND BODY ELSE GET THIS ONE ........

      Typical language used by Indian swindlers.

      If you ever applied online for some sort of loan, it might either have been a fake site, or so sleazy they sell your information to scammers.  That appears to be the main way these Indian swinlders are getting id information.

        Yess they sell your info to these people and scare you to death!! I got a call form state investigators and then another one told me it was the federal fraud investigtors. They called from florida but I couldnt trace the name.....STOP THE MADNESS AND HARASSING US CITIZENS!!

      That is the same exact number the person that contacted me called from.They told me that the loan was only $300, but they want $1150 to settle it outside of court. They still have yet to send me any documents that I've signed agreeing to the loan. Total crap!

      I just received the exact same thing from a Dana Williams and when I called her number its actually the voice of another woman who tried to scam me 6 months ago with the same email but different name. She told me to put the money on a green dot card and wait. I immediately contacted my lawyer who contacted the court house in my state and there was NOTHING on file and that case # did NOT exist. B E W A R E CITIZENS!!!!

    Yes...I recieved these same calls...they even called my job!! told me I owe 4000.00 read all the statues to me about fraud and when I asked to speak to someone without an accent since this was a federal case, they could do it. and wouldnt tell me who I owed money to!! something needs to be done about this!! this harassment must stop!!

    OMG . . . I just finished having the most fun with these idiots.  After they'd left numerous vague messages on my answering machine, suggesting all manner of criminal prosecution, I called back (using *67 to block my number) and asked for the person who'd called (Paul Jackson).  Apparently, they'd lost track of the name they'd used because they simply insisted they couldn't put me through to 'Mr. Jackson' until I gave my name or my client's name.  I said I was unwilling to do this and this guy absolutely lost his sh*t.  It was so hilarious.  He finally called me a '[***]' and hung up.  Quite the legitimate business they're running there.  I called back several times in rapid succession, at this point, just messing with him, and he answered several times with a stream of profanity, several times burping into the phone, before letting it go to his voicemail.  At that point, I left two profane messages of my own, before he stopped letting the machine pick up.  I shouldn't be having so much fun with this, but I just thought his original scare-tactic messages were so offensive and wanted to give a taste of his own messages.

      I have several emails from a Mike Johnson state investigator, prosecutor, oh and also an attorney accusing me of federal fraud and theft by deception and he is calling my job and the police and that my family will be prosecuted as well and if i didn't settle out of court then I would have to pay almost $12,000. And my SSN wilI be put on hold.  I called the numbers and   tried to respond to emails they were out of service. Unbelievable!!

    Well I got a female with an Indian accent and she said her name was Julie Robinson. Also to let most of you know depending on what state your in, a collection agency or State dept in NY(as they say) aren't authorized to collect dept outside of the State of NY. Just ignore and they'll go way :)

    Just received an email from  a paula filek stating that she is a senior affivdavit processor officer from the state , but wont give me a number to call here. have to make a deal over emailing. stating I owe us cash advance money .

    Getting text message about a bench warrant in my name if I don't pay 750.00 by the end of the business day. His name is Justin Allen from state investigation department, telling me to get a green dot moneypak and send him a text with the number.
