I received a text from realtimewinner.com at 6:14 A.M.(yes, 6:14 in the early morning).
Telling me my entry last month has Won!! Enter Winning Code 5555 to claim your Free $1000 Best Buy Gift Card.
How do these people get your phone number? and how do they get away with this?

    i awoke to to 2 text messages saying i won a 1000 dollar walmart card and go to wwwalmart.com and 1 for 1000 from best buy its all a scamed but, to a poor family that struggles with a mother who is very ill and who live very hard life, this excited the kids and thier mom. thier mom thought she could get them some clothes and maybe a small tv and a futon for the oldest to sleep on and they could use it as a couch. you people, why the hec would you pull a scam like this, take in that there is these people in hardships and this is mothers day this weekend and they or thier mom dont know if its the last for them and they were all hyped up and was telling thier mom all the things they could get her , even some food and have a real mothers day, last year they lost thier grandma and know this with thier mom so sick. people get together and run these scamers out of our world. let these people come up with the 1000 they promised this family and to everyone maybe, walmart and bestbuy will come forward to get the message out this is a scam and maybe they could offer something to this poor family you all do not know what thier losses have been and how they live but, they have love, morals and standards they live by and a terminaaly mom provides this well explaining not all families have what other families do but one thing, love. peace be with you all, keep these people in your heart and thoughte and thankyou to all the scrooges. one more thing, where the hec is walmart and best buy at, why arent they publishing a notice to all about this scam that is turning people away from thier doors. sincerely, a frustrated friend

    Nothing to do with Best buy, craigslist. or ebay--I got it on my work cell phone (government employee)and I have NEVER provided that number to anyone except my bosses.

    I too got a text on 4/30 at 6:55 am with code 5555. The number the text came from was 906-420-3269. I haven't ordered anything online, posted anything on craigs list, or completed any surveys. So it makes me wonder how they got my number......
