I received daily calls since we got our new phone number ( 1 year) from various phone numbers claiming to be the remodeling center or home center and trying to book an appointment and gather info about me and my home. Sometimes we receive  3-4 calls a day. Nobody cares we are on the no call list. One guy told me it was the FTC's fault and he had to call me. Today it was from a cell phone  (909) 231-5204, said his name was Jerome, when we called the number back it said number belonged to Michael Anderson Internal Revenue Service.

    I got a call from the same number. 909-231-5204, no message left and when I called back it went to voice mail and said the mailbox for Michael Anderson Internal Revenue Service was full.

    Sounds like the IRS scam to me.

    Same here. I did not answer and I called the #, getting the mailbox is full.  I plan on contacting the IRS and letting them know about this guy.

    SCAM......please do not even bother to call this back. there might be some collect call charge might be involved. got the same call today from 909-231-5024... so stupid to record his message as IRS when calling for something else...

    Received a call from (909) 231-5204.  Answered the phone by accident.  No response on the other end. Blocked number.

    Just receive call female Hispanic very rude said she  was from Home service Center.
    Told her don't call us back again. On do not call list she said she would.

    I received a call from 951-452-0492. Some guy looking for my husband claiming there was an appointment that was to be set up. I told him he called a business and this was not accurate, what does he really want. Told him personal calls were not allowed at the job and he kept repeating that he would call back for the appointment. I called the number back and it goes to voicemail for Michael Anderson from the Internal Revenue Service. Sounds like this guy didn't know what message to put for his voicemail and was hoping that would scare a lot of people away. Total scam

    I told a caller from this company in May to take me off of their call list.  Got a call today from Maria, she said she was with The Remodeling Center, phone number was 818-862-4072. I told her I was on the National Do Not Call List and to take me off the list, she went ahead and kept asking if I needed remodeling. I told her that if someone says they are on the no call list you hang up and take them off the list. She said she didn't have to and it was her job. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she told me to have a nice day and hung up. When I called the number it's just a message saying that all operators are busy and to call back later or leave a message, the mailbox is full.  I'm trying to find out how to contact this company's home office but a we search shows an outfit in Chino Hills, CA with a disconnected phone number. I think I'm going to report them.

      Its always the remodeling center! Its so true. I have received thousands of calls from those idiots and its to the point where I just unplug the landline. I have told those morons hundreds of times that I am  On the national do not call list AND that my number is to an apt, I dont own the building! Still , the calls keep coming. I have explained to them how much money they waste by repeatedly calling people with whom they can't . do business. They still call. I have reported this to the Government, they have done nothing so far as I can see. I am glad to see a site like this.

      I just received a call from someone named Gerald Bryant, said he was the project manager for The Remodeling Center Inc. Kept asking to come over for a free estimate today and that he will be on my street today for my neighbors. When I told him I would not let anyone in my home he hung up. I called the number back and it was a recording that all operators were busy. Clearly a huge scam and everyone should be on the look out and should report this. The number was 323-248-0674

      Hi Tori,

      I have the same problem, but they keep calling me from random different numbers. How do you report this company? They tell me they are the Remodling Inc Center. I tried to explain that they have the wrong person and phone number. The guy just got angry and starting swearing at me.

    Same as Tori in the above call.  The "Remodeling Center" called, Lisa was her name, would give me their phone number and was rude as well.  Also, she said "the Remodeling Center in Huntington Beach".  there is no company by that name here.  We're also on the do not call list. I'm reporting to the national do not call center but I'm sure nothing will be done.

      how do you report them? I'm so sick of these guys calling me too! Please guide me on how to take them down haha!

    Ugh
    They don't ask for me and hang up when I tell them it's the wrong number. So I don't think they are selling anything. They are looking for this person they ask for. I just block each number that calls. Hopefully they run out of phones.

    Kevin Thomas from "The Remodeling Center" called asking for my husband.  I said this isn't his phone number and we are not remodeling.  He copped an attitude.  I asked for their website (theremodelingcenter.com).  It doesn't exist of course. I told him to give me his number and we'll call him back.  He said "Just call the number on your caller ID".  I said "Give me your call back number".  He says "Ummm ok wait let me get it for you......."  I said "That's NOT the number on the caller ID, don't call this number again".  He says "well your husband would have to make that request".  I said "THIS IS MY PHONE, DO NOT CALL IT AGAIN!"  The number on the caller ID was 818-287-8455.  The number he gave was 855-550-2949.  Both are fake.

    I got a call from Don of The Remodeling Center on Sunday 8/6.  I kindly told him this was a DNC number and that I would appreciate not getting anymore calls.  He then told me he was only trying to make a living and feed his family.  I then mentioned that I was not going to be made to feel guilty about what his selected line of employment had him to and that I simply did not want to be called back.  He then proceeded to tell me that I needed "to change my attitude and not be like one of those Trump supporters."  I told him that I was reporting the call as harassing and that I expected to not be called again.  Well just a few minutes ago I got a call from a different number and it was the same person and even said his name was Don.  He told me he spoke to me a few weeks ago about my acoustic ceilings.  I said that was not true because I never contacted them and I don't have acoustic ceilings. He then said "well it was probably your husband, can I speak to him."  OH BOY....I then said "No my husband has been deceased for seven years" and I reminded him he spoke to me last week and I recounted our conversation and told him I was offended and that I would be taking further steps to end the calls.  He became apologetic and said he sometimes comes off the handle and then said that he was a good person and if he were in my driveway he would gladly wash my car...what!.    How can we stop this. Even blocking the number does no good since they always call from another number
