Repeated daily calls

Complaint

I received daily calls since we got our new phone number ( 1 year) from various phone numbers claiming to be the remodeling center or home center and trying to book an appointment and gather info about me and my home. Sometimes we receive  3-4 calls a day. Nobody cares we are on the no call list. One guy told me it was the FTC's fault and he had to call me. Today it was from a cell phone  (909) 231-5204, said his name was Jerome, when we called the number back it said number belonged to Michael Anderson Internal Revenue Service.

A concerned victim of I.d. theft
This Company occupied the same p.o. box I had before I signed up for it and one of the names used for me fraudulently was linked to same p.o..box.  These people are much more toxic than you think.  I was harassed for years before I figured out the p.o. box thing.

"The Remodeling Center" called and would not give me any contractor's license number, although the caller told me that information would be provided by the person who would come to my house.  These calls are getting so old.  The sad part is that there must be a market for what they are peddling!

Been getting calls from the remodeling center asking for Mr. Harris for a little over a year now. I do not answer unknown numbers period, so it makes it easy to just press end call. I've blocked the numbers, if I happen to recognize it. Over time this gets old. I've had my share of threatening and harassing phone calls. I've tried to be nice, but nothing works. They get paid to make phone calls. Despite the fact that they're breaking the law, it defeats the purpose of requesting to have your number deleting or removed, as they need it to be in circulation. We need to put them on our local tv news channel. They need to do sting operation on them. Put them on blast for the world to see. Send the message of, "Stop effing Calling me" or you make the local news. lol

Same issue with these [***].  I  have asked hundreds of times to be removed from their list, yet still get calls. After ruining our home phone they are now attacking our cell phones. Today I received one from 323-316-5438. When I asked him to stop calling he had the nerve to say "stop answering your phone."  Telemarketers are vermin and they need to be eliminated as such.

Report them to FTC.if you are in Do not call list ( put your phone in it) they can be fined up to $25000 a call I believe after 30 says per call. They called me names and hung up!

This is the last number for The remodeling Center I asked where they were located she said tarzana,CA  323-350-8575 she said to complain I should call  323-996-8160 there was a woman’s voice only to leave a message and boy did I. They won’t quit calling me. I just sold my home two weeks ago and they have been calling what seems for over a month minimum. The last Csller before today called me a birch and hung up on me when I asked to be put on the internal call list that I no longer own a home here.i told him if they didn’t I would call the FTC  He called me a [***] and names and hung up on me. The Remodeling Center keeps calling from DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS in various area codes and REFUSES to put your name on the Do Not Call list. They say they work for a call center and can't do that. I think next time I am going to just lie and give him an address to show up at.

I have had it with remodeling center contractors of every sort and utilities service. They FCC needs to start charging them for every phone call they make no matter what number they use. A class action harassment lawsuit with a cess and desist would be great.

Another local contractor, asking the usual questions, such as what is my next project in my home, and offering free estimates.
Contractors claiming to be part of 'The Home Remodeling Center' have called various times.  Usually, they just give their first name, saying that their company had called me a few months back.  I will ask them what is the name of their company, and then they will say 'The Home Remodeling Center'. On this last call, I asked about a website for their company, explaining that I cannot find them on the internet.  She said that I should check 'Home Advisor', and told that I can call them back. I did not find a listing for them on that site.
There is a Home Remodeling Center in San Marcos CA, but that is 400 miles north of my Anaheim CA home.
I did find this - https://porch.com/tarzana-ca/general-contractors/home-remodeling-center/pp  .  Location given is Tarzana CA, which is part of the City of Los Angeles, and in my metro area.

THIS IS HOW TO STOP CALLS-
I have received calls from the remodeling center for over two years, despite doing all the things everyone above has, the calls still came.
FINALLY in June, I began to schedule an estimate every time they called. When the contractor would arrive for the estimate, I would stand in the doorway and tell them that I have wasted their time, just as they have wasted mine on the phone, and to get off my property and leave, then i close the door, leaving them standing in bewilderment..... After about four of these encounters, word must have gotten back to the call center, because I don't get any calls from them anymore...
