www.witifile.com, has charged my checking account. I had never heard of this place until I checked my statement online. I was charged $5.10 for 6 months of something. I know this is a small amount, but the idea that they can do this at will would be more than pocket change it they did it 1000 times. I did not order this, did not and do not want it, and as I said never heard of them.
I notified them by e-mail as the site requests, no answer. I have filed with econsumer.gov and IC3.gov. I have also written to my bank headquarters requesting a reversal of charges.

    This is the second time this has happened to me.  The charge is $5.10 and I want my money back.

    They got me for 3.70 so I called my bank and had the card replaced and a fraud investigation started.

    This exact same thing JUST happened to me today....I have NO iea who these people are....???....my checking acct was debited $2.40....

      The same thing happened to me.  WITIFile.com charged my acct $2.40; however, the bank did reverse the charge and advised me that they would complete an investigation.  Its unfair that hard working people have to go through the headache of closing out their debit and/or credit cards at NO FAULT of their own.  I believe what goes around comes around and eventually WITIFile will have to pay a big price for what they put people through.     I just found the same 5.10 charge to my account today. Called my bank and will have to go by there tomorrow to file paperwork for official complaint and they will credit my account back. Was amazed at all of your posts! Cant believe it is still happening, seeing posts back to Nov. of 2011! Hope someone puts a stop to this, soon!

    Same thing just happend to me! $5.10.  I know its just $5.10 but i want it back and the fact that someone can get to my account like that!!! ugh! i work hard for what little money i have!!! go get a really job and make ur on money stop taking other poeples!!!!

    For those of you who have been ripped off by witifile.com, it might help if you look to see if the charge made by these cretins showed up on the same day and following a purchase you made either at a business or on-line.  In my case, the charge appeared immediately after I made a purchase at a Smoker's Express store.  A couple of posters I see have indicated they noticed the charge after eating at a Chinese restuarant, or some other place.

    You indicated you have been charged twice now by witifile.com.  Did you make another purchase on the same day as the witifile charge appeared?  There could be a pattern developing.  If anyone here notices a pattern (like I mentioned above), post back so others can be made aware of any places where you made a charge right before the witifile charge appeared.
    With some luck, maybe we can get these jerks closed down & stop this insanity!

    This just happened to me as well on 3/10/12 i dont know these people they charged me 5.10 what is up with the charging people that same amount scammers dont have nothing elsa to do but mess with somebody elsas information but best believe GOD will take care of them HE dont like ugly So I just give it to HIM and let HIM Handle it but I did file an complaint against them and cancelled my card now try to use it now you no good scammer!!:))()))((())

    Bingo... I got hit today as well.  $5.10.  The only other purchase I made today was at a gas station.  Funny thing is, I am looking to switch bank accounts this week.  The $5.10 charge appeared on my company bank card.  I'll have to wait to switch accounts until this gets resolved.
