CDWS was the biggest scam.  I had the warranty for about 5 months and had gone 4,000+ miles when my fan clutch and heater core went out on me.  I contacted CDWS to see if I could take it to the dealer to have it checked out.  They told me yes.  So when I did the michanic found that my heater core was going out and my fan clutch was also almost toast.  Then when the mechanic countacted CDWS and told them the problem they said no we will not pay for what is covered he asked why and got no response.  I myself have tried to contact them and have got hung up on givin wrong numbers, and treated rudely.  If anyone else has been treaded this way or been scamed by this company then let me know my email is sharkasurf@comcast.net  I would love to file a class action lawsuit against this company, and get them shut down.  Thanks

I have been trying to get in touch with consumer direct for three months about my blower motor.  My air condition went out in the middle of the summer when the temps were up to 116 degrees with the heat factor.  I called the number to get authorization because my mechanic could not get anyone on the phone, that was back in april and to this day I cannot talk with a live person and the email address I got from the financial co mepco I was not able to get a response.  I asked mepco could I get my money back if I canceled the plan and was that I could stop the payments but, the fact is I only have two more payments to make and they cannot guarantee that I would get my money back.  I think the finance co bare some responsibilty for allowing them to use them in this scam.

I got my car towed to my mechanic facility that I've been using for over 20 years.  My starter went while out shopping with my children for back to school on August 8, 2010.  When my mechanic faxed over the claim initiation request, he first got no response, after repeating trying to get the claim processed.  On August 10,2010 he gets a denied claim report stating his repair facility is unable to work on this claim and to give me a copy and bring it to another repair facility, how insulting. I just returned from vacation, August 31,2010 to find out my vehicle is still sitting in his facility waiting to get repaired. I need my vehicle, I've been trying all ways to contact Consumer Direct Warranty Services, because I didn't only purchase 1 warranty, I've purchased 2.  The main reason I've purchased these was, they said I could continue using my repair facility without any problems.  I guess I also got scammed.

I had aproblem with my transfer case the cost would have been about $563.41 they game me a run around until I paid for the job . I was skeptical at first now I am certain with so many people having the same experience as I have. Can someone tell me what is "bbb"

I would really like to engage in the lawsuit aginst them.  I tried to cancel my policy within the 30 day window and get a full refund.  I sent all the paperwork and they said they never recieved it.  I couldn't sent it registered mail becuase they "wouldn't accept it."  when i tried to cancel again they said i had to have my booklet and card to cancel, but they were in the mail.  I was told "tough luck" and charged for another 9 months.

I have had a policy with CDWS since early 2009...i had a claim about 8 months ago and it was for roughly $400.00..i still had to pay $75.00 out of pocket but was so glad I got what I did I just let it go..after 2 weeks of endless conmunication with CDWS I just wanted it over...now I am back in the shop since yesterday at 7:30am and here it is the next day 9:40am and still haven't been given approval, denial,or go away...I did call customer service @866-432-4443 and talked to a Justin..very nice and said to give it some time this morning...I just recieved a call from Steven a Endurance rep. which i did not know this but CDWS is just a 2nd affiliate of Endurance and according to this guy they have ceased business with CDWS and persuing resolving claims on their own..he was very nice and understanding and is handling my matter..and after this he said that he will set my policy up to go directly through Endurance Warranty and not CDWS...however as of right now..nothing has been resolved..so depending on the outcome and doing business directly with Endurance I to am willing to participate in action. My policy was almost $2000.00...just got a call back and claims we are on target to resolve this BUT he still has to contact CDWS and they are located on the west coast..we shall see..my email is rss@kc.rr.com would love to hear from others puersuing this

my current repair of an alternator requires a complete record of all services performed
on my pickup from new, 2002.  then when try to comply have know idea what they have or sill require. in this cases repair denied because i had my transmission services at 80,000
miles and 123,000. and not at 100,000 miles.  now this is for an alternator - replaced both belts tensioners and battery.  all of which service records were faxed.
of course no human contact or assistance. this was in addition to faxes from the gmc
dealer receiving no direction or specifics and not information documented information,

without exception, i have heard the same reaction from corporate dealers that they have never had anything similar to cdws run arounds. at this point my policy is voided as am told they don't have required information on vehicle and warranty not in effect. too bad
i am just out the service for another 2 years and they have my money? don't think so. help!!!!!!

Thank goodness i'm not only one who's having issues w/CDWS. I've been denied on three separate occasions. I've ask why the claims where denied and their answer was because my repair part wasn't lised exactly. I'm not mechanic, but car parts are specific. Their discription of covered items are so generic. Their disclosure should list exactly what is and isn't covered. That will minimize the confusion and consumers can make an informed decision w/all the facts. I want them to pay be back in full. Paid full full + compensation would be better. At this point, anything will be better than CDWS! I'm interested in a class action lawsuit. Help!

You must work for CDWS--CDWS  BBB rating is an F. CDWS denies legitimate claims for bogus reasons.   There are now "cease and desist" orders against CDWS from both Washington and California.  Cheryl

I have had trouble getting a person to respond to a claim recently. Prior experiences were frustrating and laborious but I didn't get the impression there was outright fraud going on. Now I am not so sure. If there isn't a satisfactory resolution soon, I'll explore other remedies. I am a Calif-licensed attorney and will pursue whatever steps I have to. I would also be interested in joining with others in a suit if I see that litigation is needed.

My daughter, a college student, is in a similiar predicament with CDWS. Her Jedda, which she bought used, developed a knock in the engine. She  took it to a mechanic that our family has been dealing with for 15 years. He has dealt with numerous insurance companies over the years and according to him, "this is the worse company I have ever dealt with." As noted above, everything is done by fax - no one answers the phone. They sent the mechanic a questionaire to be completed before they would approve openng up the engine just so he could see if he could identify the problem! The questionaire had the most rediculous questions, such as tire size! But our mechanic completed the questionaire. By return fax they asked for the service records, which we had. My daughter maintains the car religiously - servicing the car when the mileage was reached. Except for one time - her boyfriend bought the oil and oil filter and changed the oil himself. Because of this one gap in the service records, CDWS refused to approve the diagnostics, and the subsequent repairs, because the car had not been maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's standards, or something like that. My daughter needs the car to go back and forth to college, so we told the mechanic to do what needs to be done and he found a major problem. So, my daughter is stuck with a huge repair bill - just what she needed on top of her student loans!!  So, anyone contemplating doing business with CDWS - beware.

The got all but all of my premium and then said I was canceled because of a maintenance issue which my garage and I can prove is bogus!  This company is a complete SCAM!  They receive payments but issue none!  Please if you are looking into this company please reconsider!  If any class action is given I would love to be apart.
