I dialed this number by accident trying to reach another company.  The gentleman who answered the phone immediately told me I was selected to receive a $500 grocery gift card.  He convinced me that it was free of charge with no obligation.  I gave him my work address and then he asked for a credit card to pay the $6.95 shipping and handling fee.  I told him I did not have one because I sure as hell wasn't going to give him my credit card!  He argued with me and was very rude and that was the end of the conversation.  THIS IS SCAM...DON'T FALL FOR IT!

This is definitely a scam company, they lied to me repeatedly assuring me I would recieve a $125 gift card for only the $4.95 they charged my card. Though they repeatedly assured me there would be no other charges, within minutes of the call my card was charged an additional 40 dollars for "tech support" and "ID protect" - two services that were never discussed. What is more insidious is that somehow they were using my Citibank credit cards customer service number - it wasn't a similar number, it was THEIRS, somehow it was rerouting to "Rewards Hotline" and "Funvantage". I reported it to Citibank but they didn't seem to take it too seriously. Beware these creeps are not in this country and probably making a lot of money off people who don't even realize their cards were charged.

Called 888-704-4086 and was connected to someone with a very heavy Creole accent (vey difficult to understand).  Asked if he was in he U. S.. He said yes.  We had an "unclaimed reward" of $100 for Walmart gift card.  I doubted what he was saying but since they already had my mailing address (per the post card) I gave him our address again. He then asked for my e-mail address which I stupidly gave to him.  He then wanted our credit card number.  At that point I finally realized that this was some phony deal and particularly when he said we would be charged. $4.97 for shipping and handling.  I said it only costs $.49 to mail a letter.  He was very tenacious and refused to give up.  I looked up the company while we were on the phone and told him that they're running a  scam.  He still was going through his pitch.  DON'T WAST YOUR TIME AS WE DID.  DON'T EVEN CALL AND DON'T GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION.

I just called my carnival master card number, off by a digit, I dialed 1866 255 1307 when I should have dialed 1304.  [***] answered trying to convince me I was qualified for a $100 walmart gift card b/c the wait times were too  long and my area (Florida) was qualified. I gave them my 16 digit cc # and exp date but when they asked me for the 3 digit code on the back I became skeptical. (Dont ask why it took me so long to catch on) So I began asking question after question and after speaking with a supervisor I realized it was a scam and he hung up on me. BEWARE

Meant to call Sears to activate my new card. Tried calling 1 800 886 1403 and accidentally call 1 800 867 1403. The automated service said I was eligible for a $100.00 gift card upon activation. When a person came on the line I asked if this was Sears/Mastercard. He (Alex ID#5173) stated yes it is. I went through the motions until he asked a question that didn't seem right. I immediately hung up and was called back 2 times from a phone number in Troy, Michigan. This is a scam to get your credit card information. BEWARE!!!! They claim to be the Reward Hotline!

I tried calling India LD number and it directed me to an agent she said my number was selected in some "RANDOM Survey" and I am awarded $100 Gift Card which I can use anywhere in US. She just needed my credit card info so they can charge $5 for shipping and handling. I asked the company name and she said "REWARDS HOTLINE".
Please be informed this is a scam, no one gives you $100 in RANDOM SURVEY !!!

I went to the vacation sales presentation.  Sometimes it’s worth enduring these sales pitches to get a free cruise. It can be a Happy Birthday if you have real thick skin and can say no twenty times.  Most people say yes if you ask ten times. Taking a cruise to Mexico is a great alternative to buy prescription drugs online. My uncle will usually buy from an online pharmacy or drugstore.  You can buy illegal drugs online over the counter in most of these ports of call. Immigration is always a joke as well for cruise passengers. My uncle seeks out these free cruise offers because he can’t afford his online pharmacy medications that cost five times more in the United States. If you want to buy Ephedra or an alternative you can buy Ephedrine online. You can try an online pharmacy on Google or take a free cruise. So buy illegal drugs online or take a cruise to your favorite port of call and load up on prescription drugs online. I know it’s a strange twist of these Happy Birthday cruises but it’s safer than trying to buy illegal drugs online.

Needless to say, the same just happened to me.  The scam begins with the promise of a rewards card as consolation for not being able to get thru to a cable company's service group.  Then they mislead you as described above, get your card number and so on.  I'm not racist but ...... the two people I talked to had thick Indian accents.  As the call was fading in and out at times, so it probably came from overseas.  I called my credit card company and they can do nothing unless they charge my card.  Until then, I have to monitor my account looking for an illegal transaction.  They gave me their number (877-813-1264) and it was listed on White Pages.com as a potential threat. Get the word out.
