Universal Survey Center keeps calling our phone even after we requested them not to call us. (Calls from 1-646-467-6665). We would like to request FTC to list our phone number (301-279-5477) so that Universal Survey Center will not call us again.
I did a Google Search and found that many people report similar complaints against this organization. The web address below lists many similar complaints.

This company is the lowest form of the stuff you find on the bottom of your shoe when you walk thru a dog park!!! They simply do not care that you have told them to stop calling, they just call again and again and again! What amazes me is that people like this can do this all day and call this a business. There are people hungry and out of work and can't get a loan to start a real business but they will fund a scam operation like this then help them get a name and address change only to do it again in another state! This so called survey company has nothing better to do than to call people all hours of the day and night and WEEKENDS (just got another call, and its Sunday!)! Thanks to our good ole government regulators, scum like this have found a way around the system to bother, harass and stalk innocent people at home. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE! The No Call List is a joke!!! They just find a way around that as well!

The POINT is that our requests should be OBEYED! If we say Don't call us, DON'T CALL US! We shouldn't have to give in just to get a pest--or more likely scammer--off our A**! Your rights stop at our door! You must respect another person's right to privacy!

Universal Survey Center called our home repeatedly for weeks. Tonight the caller refused to stop talking when I told her that I wasn't interested in the survey and then claimed that the Center didn't have a "list" when I told her to take me off their call list, but when I asked to speak to her supervisor, she told me that the Center would take me out of their system  and hung up on me.  These people should be shut down.  She wouldn't allow me to speak to a supervisor, their phone number only reaches an answering machine, and the company cannot be emailed with complaints.   This company is horrible.

I worked there ONE day and never came back..they are too cheap to even have headsets, yet they want you to type what the caller says verbatim but at the same time they want you to keep the stupid ass phone in your hand! Both locations Brooklyn and Manhattan totally suck.

We have been harrassed by Universal for weeks.  They call almost daily.  Tonight (Sunday), instead of blowing them off I asked them to remove my number from their system and not call back.  I was rudely informed that they WILL keep calling, and there's nothing I can do about it.  I firmly said not to ever call back, and hung up as she was saying, "We'll call back at a more convenient time..."  They called back 30 minutes later, as I was putting my kids to bed.  I went to their website to complain, and found the Do Not Call list.  I hope it works, but based on the complaints I have read here, have far from high expectations.

As yall noticed I'm not giving my name because I'm paranoid like that. Nor will I tell how long I've worked there so it won't be easy to be targeted if it does exists such practice. Some of these complaints might be acurate and reason I know is because Respondents have told me of identical complaints and those of my co-workers (whether past or present)as well, but the matter of the fact is that:

    1. If we, the caller as an individual don't meet the quota or from that study alone does not have the required amount completed survey by the hour, sadly to state: they send us home. It won't matter if I had an incomplete survey, must be completed or face music and hope they didn't notice you have no complete surveys which sometimes I believe it goes by the mood of the supervisor.

    2. I won't be able to speak on the Do Not Call List, because I have no idea if it's true or false. I take people off the list if only if Respondent requests it, but I will admit this and don't be surprised to read the following: If you, the Respondent don't let us "fight refusal," meaning when you state you're "not interested" and you don't let us say "have a nice day or night" or "Is it because we called you at a wrong time? When is the best time to call you?" among other lines to keep you & hope you can give us your opinion(s) at a later time or later on that month or year.

    3. Some of us catch an attitude because find such Respondent to be rude. We have feelings, too. They instruct us from Day 1 "Don't take it personal." I don't want to take it personal, but gosh! What other way is there for us to not feel down?

    4. We don't call u because computer dials for us, so please stop telling us "You have the wrong number" and hang up. Numbers are radomly chosen.

    5. Since Respondents won't care about the "Big Brother" issue, will keep it about Respondents & Interviewers. Some of us work another P/T job because this one pays minimum wage. When I first came to this Call Center the whole room was full of callers, but now? Forget about it. Another thing I don't understand is why they keep hiring almost every Tuesdays, it's even announced on WorkForce 1, for what? Tax purposes? Gov't surplus? Let's see what rebuttal or understanding comments I see after mine's.

There were more I wanted to write here, but don't remember them now. Maybe later. :)

God bless you, all. Merry Christmas, (not holidays, I won't appease Islam and bow down to Al-lah). Don't drink & drive. Don't drink around children. Go smoke on top of somewhere where non-smokers don't have to smell it, really swallow your smoke.

Could have felt sorry for you right up to when you had to end your post with hate.  Happy holidays respects everybody who does not practice your religion.  Which is what America is all about.

Oh, the National Do Not Call List is for TeleMarketers. We take opinions, not sell anything as stated in the beginning of almost every survey we read yall verbatim and yet some of you, Respondents ask me "What are you selling?" Too bad we can't ask you personal questions like: Are you deaf? because calls are monitored for Quality Assurance.

If you're not sure what you heard you can ask us to reread the Intro again, don't be afraid.

Sorry folks, I work there too, at Universal Survery.
    1. You will keep being called no matter what.
    2. If the person is really sincere then I would take them off the list.
    3. I am one of the few people who allow the person to speak to my supervisor to take them off the list.
    4. From day 1 we are told never to take the number off the list but to always make it a call back, and that "yes" we are stalking and harrasing people, said by my supervisor.
    5. Needed a PT job in the evening, beats working at McDonalds
    6. Undersirable people work at the Manhattan Office, the Brooklyn office is usually young students in school.
    7. Working here would lower your self-esteem and cause suicidal ideation.
    8. Dont work here unless your a hot female who is loose, they play favorites and it is a totally unprofessional place, you are basically sh*t

Me again, I think the best thing you could do is call Universal Survery and "Harass" the Powers that Be. For instance, Susan Pride handles the hours for workers there, harass her. Basically harass everbody in the company directory till you get somewhere, fighting fire with fire. Either way is sucks all around that a company can still harass you following a loophole in the law.
