Universal Survey Center keeps calling our phone even after we requested them not to call us. (Calls from 1-646-467-6665). We would like to request FTC to list our phone number (301-279-5477) so that Universal Survey Center will not call us again.
I did a Google Search and found that many people report similar complaints against this organization. The web address below lists many similar complaints.

i was called by someone from Universal Survey and advised him i asked someone previously to remove my number from their call list, he said ok and the call ended. 2 minutes later the same person called back from a private number and identified himself as a supervisor from Universal Survey. He asked what the issue was and i explained to him that i previously asked to be removed from their list and i was still being called everyday. He then said , "well i am not a supervisor and i can reverse search your phone number and come to your house so we can resolve the issue in person." i was so shocked, i said "excuse me" and he hung up the phone.

I'm going to try the nice way first. Then I'm going to be a real [***].  I've just taken them off my blocked senders list to actually talk to someone.  If they refuse after I tell them to f*** off, then back on the blocked list.

There should be legislation passed against research firms.  We should all write to our legislators and ask them how of them participate in survey calls?

Survey calls are not covered under the Do Not Call registry, unfortunately. I'm hoping that they will be at some time in the future. I am bothered more by these calls than I ever was by telephone solicitors. I get about one personal call to every 6 survey calls anymore. It's so frustrating... I almost feel like I'm paying to allow survey takers to call me. And now what many of them really are is a veiled sales call - staged to look like a survey. I would blow an ear-piercing whistle, but I really don't want to hurt the innocent person who is just making minimum wage trying to live. It DOESN'T help to just answer their questions. I tried that. It seemed to just generate MORE.

I too have been blasted by Universal Survey Center calls.  The operators purport to be collecting customer satisfaction information for my local utility company.  Calls continued after I told them I wasn't interested in providing information.  I contacted my utility company and was told the calls were from a third party with no affiliation with them.  This evening I received another call from the Universal Survey Center.  I asked the caller if she was really working with or for with my utility company.  She danced around things a bit so I finally asked who cut her paycheck.  The caller connected me with a supervisor who seemed a reasonable person.  I was told me that my number would be taken off their list and I would get no further calls.  We shall see....

By the way - expect no help from the government regulatory bodies when it comes to ending this type of call.  It's public record that the NSA and friends monitor all phone traffic to 'keep us safe'.  Yet oddly enough they can't seem to identify and prosecute the slime who violate no call lists thousands of times every hour.  I smell a rat.

They have been calling us nonstop at least 4times a day.  We are on do not call; we have repeatedly requested them to cease to no avail.  It has been endless harassment for over a month.

I called their office to find someone to complain, but you get a recording which hangs up on you.

I worked there for about a month....the place is disgusting, the phones are so dirty...if the mouth piece of the phone touch your face you would get bumps! I felt like I didn't fit in cuz its nothing but either people who really need jobs and/or parolees! Husband & wife work 2gether, unprofessional so-called supervisors play with workers, if they allow it...if you don't let them play with you , you may not get work. DISGUSTING I TELL YOU. FOR ME TO WORK THERE I FELT I HIT MY LOWEST POINT AND WAS REALLY DESPERATE FOR A JOB.  Omg,  working there was sickening. This fat pale freckled face supervisor lied on me and I wrote a very nasty email to them about her and still they didn't fire me.  But what's worse is that WORKFORCE 1 is recruiting people for this company. A govt agency, WORKFORCE1 should be closed down.....so what do that say about OBAMA FUNDING WORKFORCE!

We got a call from them tonight, after 9:00 PM.   The agent refused to state the address of the firm he worked for.   Report them to the donotcall.gov

I think this is a scam outfit.

I have received many, many calls from these [***]. They will not leave a message on the machine and continuously call until I answer. I've told them that I am on the "Do Not Call List" several times to no avail. Today is Sunday and they've called 6 times since 4 pm. It is now 10 pm and I just received another call. This time, I picked up the phone, waited for them to say hello, and said "STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER! UNDERSTAND?" in a very intimidating manner. My next step is to block the number or pick up the phone and hang it up each time until they finally get the message.

Wouldn't it be easier if u just took the survey!? It's only 20 minutes...I work here and at times I feel like people have no sense of community or good social skills. I know the calls can be annoying, but do you think that cursing us out and calling us out of our name's is gonna make things better? I don't think so! We are not [***], we aren't morons and we are all not from slums, drug houses, etc...Some of us are decent people who have kids to take care of and families to support. All the animosity people create over a 20 minute phone call is unnecessary and can be avoided by answering the damn survey!
NOTE: WE DO NOT PICK OUT THESE NUMBERS. IT'S BASICALLY ALL COMPUTERIZED!

To add to what you said, if you are on the East coast we do not call after 9 pm we do not call sat nights and not on Sun mornings. I have always been courteous and quick when doing a survey.

During the day, maybe. After 9:00 pm, absolutely not. If you don't care what time it is or what you're interrupting, (not to mention breaking the law) then why should I care about you or your circumstances. What about the single mom you woke up who has to get up early to go to work in order to put a roof over her head and feed her children? I could go on and on, but you know what I'm talking about. And, if it's 9:00 pm on the west coast, then it's too late to call anyone. Quit your job and file a grievance if your employer is making you break the law, then file for unemployment.

First , I understand you , as well as other need jobs, and as is with any organization all its workers are not as you described, nor are all workers good either .  That said , NO survey companies or others should be calling at or after 9pm , or multiple times and should NOT be called again when told they do not / or will not take a survey.  As far as being easier to take a 20 minute survey , if someone does not want to do it that is as far as it should go .  20 minutes of my time to do a survey is 20 minutes out of my life that I could have spent with my family , 20 minutes of my life that I will never get back .  Sleep which I will not get back and broken sleep caused by these "COMPUTERIZED" calls ... As far as "ANIMOSITY" people are creating over a "20" minute survey being unnecessary ,.... Well , why don't we look at that from a different perspective ... There was no "ANIMOSITY" until / before the phone calls waking people , "harassing" people by repeatedly calling them AFTER being told not to call back and they did not want to do the survey.  And to expect / demand / people to give out personal information over the phone to a complete stranger , who have said no once , is harassment and these actions by you or the company you work for that which one would expect from a third world country or a country under a dictatorship . And before you try saying that doing a survey is not giving out personal information , I say this , ANY ANSWERS TO ANY QUESTIONS , WHETHER IT IS YOUR NAME , WHERE YOU LIFE , DO YOU LIKE OUR GOVERNMENT , DO YOU LIKE THE COLOR BLUE , IS .... "PERSONAL" ....  So , if you do not like the animosity ,  anger , complaints being filed , then I suggest you change the way / which you are conducting yourself s ... or get used to that which you are creating ......

Hey....what right do you have to impose on my life EVER.  You don't.  Really sorry you work for the place but that has no bearing on the company you work for infringing on the lives of others without their permission...and they do it over and over.   It is completely uncalled for to call ANYONE after 9PM.....people work...people have small children that are already in bed....and to call anyone late in the evening is nothing but complete RUDENESS.  NO Excuse for this EVER.
