Country: United States
A man with a heavy accent(sounds Indian, from India) called and left a message on my phone.
Said that there is a legal complaint filed against me and I need to call him back asap or he will pursue
charges??
what? I thought? Doesnt make any sense to me. I dont do anything illegal, how can there be any charges against me?
Well, I check out his company online , and turns out it's a scam to extort money probably.
I deleted the message and never bother calling.
Pls do your research everyone before even bothering calling back.

I own a restaurant and this ACS Legal Services has also been calling for one of my employees.  I looked up the company for her and saw hundreds of complaints about this company being a scam.  The 2nd time he called he changed the original name he gave me the 3rd time he changed it again and said his name was "James Brown" and that my employee had a warrant out for her arrest and he had 1 day to find her!.  The numbers he calls from are not able to be called back and the number he gives as a contact is always disconnected!  It is a shame that there is nothing anyone can do to get this man stopped or put this fake company into the database of the Beter Business Bureau for scam.
We also have had some guy from a Florida number calling offering my female staff $200 if they will talk to him and answer some questions.  The questions have been found to be sexually inaapropriate... When I had my husband call him he refused to let him talk and kept asking what restaurant he worked at...wierdo!

I recieved a call at work from a man said his name was Dennis Brown from ACS Legal Services when I was at lunch. I called him back, but he wasn't there, so I got transfered to a man with a accent (sounded middle eastern) stating that I was being sued by Cash Advance USA for a loan that he says was transfered into my checking account which I told him I never recieved. He told me that I owed $345.00 and that three charges will be filed against me for Bank Regulations Fraud, Check Fraud and Theft by Deception and that my employer would be notified about this and that I would be fired. H ealso stated that Cas Advance USA wrote off the amount and said that I ran away with the money and had no intentions of paying it back. When I tried to get more information like a case number, he seemed to get upset and hung up on me.

Same thing happened to my husband yesterday..A man called and told my husband he was getting sued by Cash Advanced. The man said that Cash Advanced had put money in his account and when they tried to get it back out of his account they couldn't.Asked if he had been arrested for this..Which made no sense seeing how the cops don't arrested people for loan debts..My husband told him that that made no sense because there was never any money added to our bank account..My husband got rude with him only after the man got rude first and the man told him that they would be sending the cops to our house to arrest him tomorrow bc this was a fed. crime then ended up hanging up on him.So I told my husband to call back and get all the info on this company he could..He did and they would only give him an address of LA California,no street address or anything. So when my husband told them he would be contacting his lawyer to get to the bottom of this they hung up again..Seems to me if they were really lawyers they would have been more than happy to talk to our lawyer..

I would like to thank all of U, who have had this same expericence, /w/ this company: ACS (American
Consolidation Loan Services). The (Indian Man) name, Robin Henry, I made him spell everything,
because, I think he had me on speaker phone, which made call difficult to hear, and I explained to
him it's hard for me to hear and understand, I am Disabled, and he got a bit loud /w/ me, said, do U
have a Lawyer, if U do, give him my number, and my lawyer & UR lawyer can talk this over.

NO, I didn't give my lawyers name nor the beginning of Social Sec. # nor anything else, but made sure, I received his number, there, to speak /w/ Travis Walker: 213-261-6451.

I did call where I have a loan, they told me do not do anything, let him do the calling back, and
by not doing anything, he will stop, also, contact U.S. Federal Complaint Board, and file a harassment
charge against both ( Henry & Travis) also ACS.

So glad I looked up this Company, when I was doing my PCH search & win. :):)
Something already good has come my way, hope this helps others, too:):)

    Have a wonderful rest of UR day...T.G. I. F.  DAY @ U !!!
    Best Regards

I got an email from ACS Legal which they decided to mark this case as a flat refusal and press charges against me.  Long story short, I have forwarded this email to my lawyers and they are investigating this company.  These people are outrageous and do anything to get money from you.  My lawyers assured me that I don't have to worry abou this company.

    Same here
I just received the EXACT SAME voicemail and I thought something was fishy. I've worked for a collection agency and they under most cases do not talk that way in a threatening manner. Glad I surfed it online. Scam I'm just ignoring any VM left and if I ever speak to the [***] he'll have someone handing his smack talk right back at him. I mean seriously.....idiots!!!!

These guys are such a joke.  Got an email from them today saying they were trying to collect on some loan I owed, guess what, I haven't had a loan in my life.  EVER!  Called the phone number listed on the email and, as with everyone, a heavily accented man, Indian, picked up & identified himself as "Matt Williams" (nice Indian name huh?).  Long story short, I asked him why he had sent me an email, and he hung up on me.  Called again, asked why he was emailing and why he hung up, hung up again.  Called him from my work phone, same questions, hung up again.  Here's how I like to stick it to these "jerks".

Start a group of contacts on your phone.  Title it "F**king Jerks".  Next time you have had a bad day, or just want to stick it to someone, pull up your contact list of "jerks" and start making calls.  These people border on not being human.  They try to extort the ignorant, the eldery and everyday people like you and me.  So feel free to scream, cuss, call names and degrade them for being the scum that they are.  Every time you get a call fron one of these low lifes add them to you growing list of "jerks".  In no time you will have an extensive list of people to stick it to, and you may just have that bad day turn around with just a few phone calls.

One other note, if they're ever looking for a call back number from you, give them this one; 772-257-4501.  It's the Rick Roll hotline.  If you don't know what "Rick Roll-ing" someone is, give it a Google search or try the number yourself.

Thanks for reading & have fun with your "jerks".

Caller with a quasi-Jamaican, quasi-Indian accent saying he was from "ACS Legal Services" called saying they were "trying to check their data" and asked me for a social security number. I told them to [***] off. Caller told me he was going to "come to my house and [***] my wife" and that he was "going to pay me a call later", since I don't live in a house and am not married I'm not that worried about that.

Reading other comments about "CashNetUSA", I had my bank account details stolen and used on a fake electronic check with the name shown on the bank statement as "CashNetUSA", I got it cleared up by talking to my bank and reporting it to the cops (who really weren't that interested), my bank told me that CashNetUSA are part of an organised fraud ring which swaps stolen bank details between its members and try to make small debits to each account, small so they can be easily overlooked and don't constitute massive fraud against one person, but with hundreds or thousands of accounts and many of the fake checks not being immediately noticed by the account holders the amount soon adds up.

I see the connection - bank details stolen, used to write an eCheck to CashNetUSA, next step is to try and get more cash and find out more data by making fake initimidating "legal" phone calls.

I got an email from ACS stating I was being taken to court if I didn't reply in two days to the number provided. It was a local number but I got a man with a thick Indian accent. He never asked my name or any other information but seemed to know exactly what I owed without any type of information. He claimed he knew just because he knew? That was when I figured out it was a scam, he said he would only take a money wire no credit cards or debit cards. Then he started telling me all these amounts I could pay him to pay the debt in full still without any information given to him. After his spill he then wanted my information. I knew right then this was a scam. Don't give them money, he got really hateful when I told him I would call him back and let him know what I decided. He refused to let me go and ranted about how rude I was. I hung up and researched the company and found a lot of complaints about the same things.

    Unafraid of Scammers!
i have received calls from these jokesters also but I will not be bullied.  They have threaten to take me to court and i have been waiting - so far no court date!!  They have called my ex-employer and asked if they would send them money on my behalf. Well they can wait until hell freezes over!  I am happy to know that others are not falling for their bullying tactics!

    Stay strong!
