A man with a heavy accent(sounds Indian, from India) called and left a message on my phone.
Said that there is a legal complaint filed against me and I need to call him back asap or he will pursue
charges??
what? I thought? Doesnt make any sense to me. I dont do anything illegal, how can there be any charges against me?
Well, I check out his company online , and turns out it's a scam to extort money probably.
I deleted the message and never bother calling.
Pls do your research everyone before even bothering calling back.

    I received a similar call yesterday and today. It was a call from a blocked caller id. It was a Hispanic man, he said I have a pending compliant against me and that I need to call this number with my case number for further information from this firm. He asked me when I was going to call and I said when I have a chance!! I asked who he was and he said he was an investigator hired by the firm? Okay whatever. He's called me three times since and I will not answer. This is a scam!

      Report them to your state Attorney General's office and the state they claim to be from; file a complaint against them with Federal Trade commission, and consumer protection. They need to validate the debt first.  If they refuse to prove the debt, then send them a letter to cease and desist contacting you.

    I just got a call from a local #2075122579 but the actual # is 8552142156. they said that there is a case filed against me and that they will locate me and I will be arrested. I don't owe anything to anyone besides my house, car and school bill plus everyday bills like creditcards, utilities, etc...what should I do?

    I receives Thais call as well, them wanting me to call them back. I have never gotten a payday loan. I got a title loan but thats paid off. Everyone, please dont send them money. Only a scam. This is terrible.

    This company is violating many governing rules. I to have received calls from them threatening law suits making statements such as issuing an arrest warrant or "we will be stopping by today to serve you make sure you are home." Only a judge can issue an arrest warrant in such a case and that can only be done after other legal process have been completed, in addition this is a civil matter not a criminal matter. First they would have to sue you, have you served, follow the legal processes, they cannot jump right to an arrest besides they do not have the authority to issue an arrest warrant, their power is limited to that of any other citizen attempting to recover financial damages.

    I'm looking at these posts about this scam that I have just started to receive constant calls and emails stating claims against me and legal action but also benefits to claim calls and emails loan approval calls and emails and the list goes on and on here it is now 2016 and from some of these posts 2012 2001 98 that's along time for this to be still happening and with nothing done in our favor to stop or pursue them for harassment or the damage they cause to ones identity claims against me have placed me and mine in a bad spot and looking for answers has exhausted me to the point were I feel the government is allowing them to do the things they are doing to us and much more and doing nothing

    I just a got a call from a Randy Mitchell at 817-945-8324. Area code TEXAS. Me in Az.. Said a complaint was filed against me and need to contact them and contact my representation if have any.. My stomach went in knots.. Got online and found this... I  know I am good on everything..  Cruel world we live in. Still shaking...

    I received a call from a man named James Scott said that he would be at my job tomorrow, and for me to have a form of ID.  That he had some legal papers, and that someone file a claim against me. When I called the number back they said they didn't have anyone by that name that worked there.

    They email and call. Telling me they are going to sheriff is going to be taking me to jail.I told them to send me something if they think I owe something they said we don't mail things this is through emails only. This is crazy I am not giving money to them!! They even call my family how do they get their numbers. They need to be stopped!!!!

    I got called from these two numbers 509-740-0270 and 425-880-7895 also a recording and then Indian person answering. The scary part is that they had my address and my phone number. They wanted last 4 digits of my social and date of birth to verify my identity and tell me what I was being charged with. It seemed shady but nevertheless I wondered if it was real.

    Got call from Friendswood, Texas 281-648-8784 & 281-648-8780 saying to call them back or they will take legal action. I know it is fake I live 1000 miles away from there and never heard of that town. I have never had leagal action against me. Don't fall for this, they are fishing for your person info or to scam you out of money. Report it to attorney general in the state that call came from.
