A man with a heavy accent(sounds Indian, from India) called and left a message on my phone.
Said that there is a legal complaint filed against me and I need to call him back asap or he will pursue
charges??
what? I thought? Doesnt make any sense to me. I dont do anything illegal, how can there be any charges against me?
Well, I check out his company online , and turns out it's a scam to extort money probably.
I deleted the message and never bother calling.
Pls do your research everyone before even bothering calling back.

    I had the same thing happen. Something about a cash advance that was directly deposited in my checking account. I politely told him how stupid he was, because if they put it in there, they will take it out. That would have been the agreement, I'm sure. So they finally left me alone for a few months and they have started again. It's bad, I wonder how much money they actually make off this scam.

      Cant believe it...glad I found all of you..My Number was 209-729-3807  Guy is Eric Matthews acslegal group...demanding money I never loaned....$545,67   .  Threatened me with lawyers bail and court...to pay total of $4515.85 Legal proof he didnt want to send me a kletter....E-mail for me....Watch these guys...Attorney General notify.as soon as possible,

    I never received a phone call but some jerk keeps emailing me from this company and when you call his number no answer EVER and he writes dumb emails talking about this is the last time and court fees and legal fees.  Please watch out for these people

    They keep hassling me as well. All I want to know is how to make them stop calling and harassing me and if any of the things they said they were going to do actually happened to anybody.

    I received a call from an "Unknown number" but they left a message on my VM both home and cell, with my mother, brother, and spouse.  All the messages said the same thing, "I owe money and they have 22 charges against me that if I didn't reply in 2 hours, they would be serving me".  I ignored them because if I had 2 hours, why were they calling everyone I knew?  Just do what they have to do!  I called them back and it was from ACS Legal services 866-728-0525. They were calling and saying they were Chexsystems and I told them that I worked for those people, and I was well aware that they do NOT call you when you have a bad check in their system.  They got upset and said well do what you wanna do because I surely don't care! I told them I didn't care either because they were not getting over on me! I hung up in their face!

    Had the same thing happen only they keep calling my job and telling any one who will listen allbtjis bad stuff about me an then telling them that if I don't call them by a certain time they would serve me papers so I called and told them to go head and serve me but they never show but they are still calling my job need to know what else to do to stop them from calling my job because it is becoming very imbarrasing having your  boss take u into the office to let you know someone is saying these things

    They called me today. I asked for something in writing. Was told they couldn't send out anything. I told them I was in the process of looking them up on line as we speak and asked where in Columbia were they located. They just said the worked for the DA's office and I had until Friday to call them back with a payment arrangement. I wish I would...

    I have received numerous calls and emails stating that I have a claim/lawsuit against me for $4203.86, but if I don't want to go to court, I can pay $870.69 to settle out of court. ACS said they have a right to legally prosecute me and my SSN has been put in National Data Base showing I have not paid. I have NEVER dealt with this company and tired of the harassment.

      I just got the same email today. An when I called the number to find out info.. I said I didnt ever get a loan so I dont owe any money... they hung up on me an now when I try to call the number back they hang up right away... this is the number 1-347-571-9007... this is my email miechie76@aol.com

    i received a message on my phone today from this person by the name of Rochelle Clark from ACS Legal Service who said she had a legal matter on her desk with my name a social security number concerning check fraud and if i didnt respond by the end of business day today at 908-428-6267 in referece to HAM1334809, that this matter will be sunt to my local county clerk office can anyone tell me about this and have they receive call from this number as well

    I just got the same message at work from this person with this strong Indian accent.  Once I asked him if he realized that he was calling the federal gov't and the FBI is primary investigation unit and they don't use 1-800 numbers, the phone quickly was slammed down by him.  I guess he thought he could pull the wool over my eyes on this scam.

    I received a call today from the same company. I listened to Ms Jenkins tell me that I owed money for an online payday company and she had my ss, Boca acct info and my old address. She just kept saying I should take care it before having legal actions taken. She never told me amount, date of loan or who the original company was. When I got mad and started yelling at her because she wouldn't answer my ?s, she told me to calm down or go to court. Then told me she had no proof of the loan and having my acct info was enough. She said my loan was in 09 and because it was online she didn't know the original company. Then she told me because I didn't want to take care of it over the phone that it is going to court and hung up. What logical persons pays on a debt that I know nothing about and is involved with a bank acct that had fraud on it, with no proof? And sadly the way our legal system works, they will file the request and I will be served and have to go through all the bs with court.

    Anyone know of a company called AFS....got a phone call saying there was a complaint filed against me...I should call 1-855-206-1450 with a case number of FN1649 and they would let me know what it was about when I called they had the wrong person and wouldn't let me know what kind of company they were and hung up on me three times,,,tried a reverse phone look up but everyone says the number is invalid.....anyone out there have the problem.

    I received an email yesterday morning and did not get it until last evening, this so called lawyer Fabian cole  claimed I had made efts to my account to the tune of 9300 bucks from these fast cash places like you all listed.. now being of sound mind and deficient body, I almost responded but thought better of it and called our local police cybercrimes unit here and he asked if I had indeed responded ,, I said no at that point I had not.. he said not to because the very instant you push send... all your info goes right where theu want it.. we found out this letter is being generated out of a satellite office in Washington dc..with ties to overseas offices.. now this idiots wording in this email was all over the place.. he threatened with jail time if we did not respond.. he claimed it was a FEDERAL case but was being heard in the "county" courts.. this moron knows nothing of our legal system.. he claimed I was gonna be deprted if not a u s citizen, and my passport would be cancelled, my bank account frozen, and my drivers license revolked(he used the term "blocked")..he further claimed my "paychecks will be garnished" and my FICO score will be locked at a negative 85..so no loan place would talk to me..this [***] also stated that if I could not afford a lawyer that one would be appointed, but to have bail money to get out before the arraignment.. I have since given copies of this email to law enforcement for them to seek charges.. my bank has a copy and have been alerted of this, and this person will be caught and sent to prison to meet"bubba" who just loves tender young geeks to mess with.. this dude don't have a clue who he been messing with...

    I wish there was some way to actually arrest these people.  I have been harassed for three months by someone saying I am about to be served with 2 legal charges.  They don't say what kind, what for, etc. They tell me to call 1 802-552-0848 and they give me an Acct # to mention when I call.  I reported this to NM Attorney General and she said she would send them an email telling them to leave me alone! The calls come in to my cell and house phone.  (Different 800 call back #s on each.)  The account number purporting to be my ID starts with three letters followed by 4 numbers.  Nothing is said re: what the issues are that have caused me to be charged, though before Xmas one said it was for an outstanding debt, which I have none of.  Call your local Attorney General and complain.  I sure hope it works for me; time will tell, I guess.  Good luck and God Bless!

      Report them to your state Attorney General's office and the state they claim to be from; file a complaint against them with Federal Trade commission, and consumer protection. They need to validate the debt first.  If they refuse to prove the debt, then send them a letter to cease and desist contacting you.

      Send their emails or give their telephone number to Federal trade commission.

    I just received a private call saying the same thing but the call was for my daughter?? The woman left her name as Tasha White but no number to call back?? wtf Said she was from US Document Services

    I was also contracted today from this company. say I owed a cash advance and if I did not send them money they would start legal action. But when I said I needed a number they sais first for me to send them my info and then they would give me a number.
