Country: United States
I was contacted by etourandtravel offering me also a Mexico vacation package and this was actually why I responded to them, because I was interested to go to Mexico and to relax on the beach, last year I was in Cuba for 7 Day's and the package was $ 1450.00 all included for me and my wife.

Aniway's a lady called me after few day"s and started to talk about orlando and daytona I told her that I was looking for Mexiko but she managed to convince me that the other package is better,on the end of our conversation she asked me for my CC # and I gave it to her thinking that they are not going to charge me until I see the DVD.

Few day's later I got the DVD and I was not very much impressed,so I send them an Email to cancel the package, this was only 7 day's later, they respond to me that they can not cancel it via Email!!!??? why? They want to talk with me I knew if I talk to them they will try to convince me again,I told them if they want to talk with me they can call me in canada and whe will talk,They never responded to that.

Well now the 15 day's cancellation time frame is past and I am charged $498.00 and I can not do anything about it.I am not going to this trip I am not getting my money back,I think I did cancel on time but they does not accept Email cancelation,I dont know what to do.I dont know how is it possible to have companies like this, somebody should shut them down because this what they are doing is not human,I hope somebody will break their neck and I wish them to get the same back what they did to us but 1000 times worser.

first of all, you the comsumer were the ones that signed up for the 2 free tickets on the internet. All the company was trying to do is offer you an exceptional vacation at a discounted promotional rate. Apparently, you have never been on a vacation, because if you had, you would have known that you had to do a presentation of their resort to be discounted 1600.00 of the cost of the vacation. Also, I don't know where you obtain you information about the time of the tour as my family was done in 60 minutes. Maybe of you were man enough, all you had to do was tell them that you were not interested. It makes me so angry in the ignorance of consumers like you that don't follow guidelines and as a result get angry for your own stupidity and start bashing reputable companies like Etourand travel. If you were smart, all you needed to do is call your credit card company and they would have disputed your charge..........they should log on to  www.amersafeschool.com and take there anger management class

What an interesting group of postings.   I, too, received a call this evening explaining the "great offer" as outlined by most of you on here.  When I explained that I needed a day to verify, I was told that I should wait until Mathew Hyde (my caller) spoke to his boss (Landon Rachel).  When Landon Rachel got on the phone and proceeded to try and get me to commit to the package (for $99.00) I again stated that I would need a day to be sure of the legitimacy of this deal and that I would return a call tomorrow if it checked out.  Mr. Rachel told me to call his personal phone (727) 573-9551 to let him know.  After reading these posts, and making several other inquiries, it appears that Mr. Rachel has several names but the same phone number.  What a joke this company is.  Of course, I won't call back tomorrow. Buyer beware!

    Hey John Smith,

How much does the company pay you to go on these sites and intimate people? You are rude and have obviously not read the experiences of these people, otherwise you would have not opened your big mouth.

We just got called by them today, and after the explanation of what we would get, I asked the rep how I would know that they are legit. She asked me to hold on and Ray Acosta, apparently someone in charge, came on the phone.  He gave me a number 1-866-912-9290.  I had googled ETourandTravel while the rep was talking and came across p[ages of complaints.  Ray said they were all bogus and if I gave him 10 percent trust he would earn the other 90.. I asked how come I can't find good things written about your company on the net, why just complaints.. and he replied that nobody was perfect.  I asked for more verification, and he replied, I feel sorry for you sir - and hung up!  My decision not to participate was rather easy.

Yeah I agree with most of you on this... I learned from being scamed before not to do any buisness on the phone unless I knew who I was calling. Just spread the word to everybody do your research befor you give out a credit card number!!!!!! The guy i was talking to was very addimet about no searching them so i did anyway glad I did... IF SOMETHING IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE 99.9% of the time it is.

    no way
I am a former employee of EtourandTravel and have had to deal with this quite often. This person knew when they were sent the package and when they were contacted they would need to call customer service, and its easier than sending an email. The fact that you waited a week after they sent the package and didnt do anything but send an email tells me youre ridiculous and wanted a reason to complain. You didnt even take the vacation, i bet its rotting there because you didnt want to call them? take responsibility, please and thank you, for your actions.

    vacation crasher
i am dumbfounded by how unintelligent most buyers are. have you ever had to deal with people like yourselves? you think its too good to be true because youre all wishywashy. i have been on multiple "timeshare" vacations and i can tell you that the only bogus thing that should be spoken of is your self control. they cant pressure you if youre not [***]...its a phone, hang it up. you let yourself get tangled in a sales pitch cant find a convenient way out and in such panic and freak out on the phone. congratulations, everyone, youre all crimestoppers. *claps

everyone wants to be a victim
most of you people pretty much disgust me. youre not a victim youre an idiot, and i can tell that simply by the statement "your itinerary will make your head spin". ive seen it, ive toured with them and am a return customer. how about this idea - when you tour with them enstead of being polite tell the sales agent before anything happens that you are not interested. THEY ALL MAKE COMISSION - think hard on your motivation at that point, and while all telemarketing is a brutal business i encourage you all to hang up, do your research - dollars to doughnuts says they call back. youre a warm lead.

not john, but just as angry
ok the better business bureau is not federal, government owned or operated. its a goddamn business. ANYONE can file a complaint, go look up walmart or disneyworld. NO ONE is satisified 100% of the time and to base your assumption as to the company's intent is vile and ruthless because of a better business bureau rating, youre more ridiculous than the sales reps.

if this company was so awful, and they truly were ripping money out of your wallet for a vacation, the state of florida would can them.

I just have to say looking through these complaints and wonder, the people saying 'oh, you're just an employee posting numerous times under different names' should look at themselves and wonder how many unsatisfied people are doing the same thing.  etourandtravel records their verifications of the package which is available to your credit card company and all those needing to verify what was purchased, so you are protected as well as the company.  The E commerce act (as can be researched at http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/menus/business/ecommerce.shtm) will state that there are numerous laws in effect to protect the consumer and if you don't get exactly what is offered, you are fully protected.

The point being...other than using common sense, asking questions, and knowing what you are filling out on the internet, etourandtravel calls based on warm leads that's filled out by the interested parties.  I personally won't claim that I work or don't work for the company, but that's not the issue.  The issue is that knowing the details, the fine print, asking the questions, and finding out the 'catch', you can enjoy a great Florida vacation at a steal of a deal.  Having worked for Disney in the past myself, I've seen this to be a great deal now that I've left Disney and would definitely take advantage of it myself if I had the money.

Don't forget, aside from the resort stay, car rentals, and comp tickets, nothing else is included...the savings is great, but there will still be some out of pocket expense.  Nothing comes free in life and if anything, just say no.  The 727 number listed below IS a valid number as I've called them numerous times to inquire about the packages, and the names of the people there do exist...also, don't forget, that as we did at Disney, there could be numerous offices and people of the same name, so just because they are not at one location, doesn't mean they don't exist.

If I didn't really care about what the company did or was really 'just lying' about this 'scam', I wouldn't have gone this depths to try and justify what they are doing.  Also remember another thing when it comes to these posts and the BBB...these are all subjective and more is to be heard about bad experiences than good.  Happens at Disney too believe it or not as well as Continental Airlines (another former employer of mine) who are both known for their EXCELLENT customer service.  If you get me on the phone with etourandtravel, I promise to treat you with the greatest of respect and hopefully offer you something you and your family can enjoy for the rest of your life.

If it was a scam, the parent company (Kosmas Group International, Inc. www.kgiresorts.com) wouldn't have been in business for 35 years and a part of Interval International along with still being in business as I'm sure the Federal Trade Commission and FBI would really be up in arms if it really was...think people...think

OK. Has anyone had a really GOOD experience with this place? I unfortunately just gave my CC# and agreed to pay $99 for the package. Should I cancel right away, or actually take the holiday? I want to hear if there have been any GOOD experiences.

I was a fool and "bit" for the free vacation to Orlando.  I did a very DUMM thing andn gave them my credit card #.  I have been back and forth with my credit card company for many months.  I finally contacted the office of my State Senator who took this to the state level in FL.  They claimed that they did indeed have MANY concerns sent into to them by other "stupid" peolple like me.  "If it sound to good to be true.....FORGET IT!"
I did get email today from the company that they were cancelling my obgligation to them and my money would be returned.  I feel like I won the LOTTERY!!!

Don't let these creeps get away with just "taking our money" and they refusing to give it back if we have valid resaons to change our plans.

I'm almost 70 years old, and I've learned MY lesson!!!

i am a etour and travel rep....and let me tell you, you have no idea of what really goes on. the company that calls you and sells you the package is not etour and travel they are a small telemarketing office in tampa florida that claims they are licensed under etour and travel. They have changed office locations 3 times and also changed banks 3-4 times so they do not get caught. They may actually send u to etour and travel, after u have missed the time to cancel of course. But they take in alot of the money from the packages they sell for 498, and they live in a million dollar home in a community called cheval in lutz fl. The owners are tony and nga robles. An ex cocaine dealer and his wife an ex stripper. They hire on new trainees for a week or two and then fire them and pay them minimum wage 6.15 an hr, and sometimes dont even pay some of their employees claiming they mailed a check out. its not the sales reps as they are just working under these owners who are living off of your hard earned money, driving hummers, bmws, mercedes, and going to the without walls church in tampa fl as a cover up for their crimes. None of the buildings where the reps work from are in their name, they hire young 16-17 yr old girls, and put the whole company in their name. so this cannot be traced back to them. they make so much then move again before they are tracked down. They penalize their reps and make them stand on their feet all day. They have a mentally challenged man with the mind of a child working for them who they slave, and have vapor acted all the time and even lately thrown in jail. They will keep on doing this till they cannot no longer. Yes its a scam what THEY are doing although etour and travel is not i believe. They tell u lies to get ur card number, and then make it impossible to cancel. The employees there all give u fake names. as they are instructed to do. u can even look this individuals up on the hillsborough county jail records online at www.hcso.tampa.fl.us/pub/default.asp… and enter in their names. The lady who handles all the bank calls fighting ur card companies name is christina maroney. They are so fake and such scam artists it makes me sick. God knows what they are doing. and let me tell ya one word KARMA. heres their phone numbers too tony robles-8134779069 and his wife nga robles 813 477 9065. Their new office is now located at 18930 n dale mabry highway tampa, florida.

HEY! I JUST NOW GOT TAKEN! AND SO DID MY 20 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER!

DO NOT PATRONIZE e-tourandtravel ! BY THE TIME YOU GET THE PACKAGE WITH FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS IT'S TOO LATE: YOU'LL FIND OUT YOU JUST DON'T QUALIFY FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOU - WE'VE BEEN GOT, THEY RIPPED US OFF!

AFTER THEY TOOK my money they send out the information which says my husband MUST accompany me (we have been separated for years, and never ever travel together) and their info also stipulates whoever accompanies me must over 23 years of age; at the time I booked my kids were all under 23! their CD never said a thing about a partner nor anyone over "23" ! (23??) I thought I was going by myself.

My time is very short but my 20 year old daughter had a bit of a time frame to go ahead and book us, they charged her credit for ANOTHER PACKAGE which they don't want to refund! (their mistake and they want us to pay for it!) and to prove their lack of integrity THEY SOLD A 20 YEAR OLD A PACKAGE! THEY THEMSELVES screwed up and don't want to own up to it!
They also charged her a $20 Agent Fee without informing her!

I'll pay for the mistakes I make; but e-tourandtravel wants us to pay for THEIR MISTAKES TOO! STAY CLEAR OF THEM.

Last June 2009 I got a call from them ( etourtravel ) and after insisting the reps  for a long time I gave my cc# , needless to say it was a very stupid mistake. They told me if I wanted to hold the deal they needed a credit card account. They also said that it did not mean that my credit card would be charged, and they will call me back the next day to get my final decision. They did not call me back, never got the so-called "info packet" by mail and they stole 250 $ from my credit card. I did a fraud claim to my CC company but I  know that money is gone. Well I did learn the lesson the hard way . I'm a Cuban who has been in the States a  short time. So I'm paying the price of been completely unfamiliar with telemarketing scams. I had been calling them and emailing them in oder to talk with a manager but it has been a waste of time. May someone advise me what to do next?. Silly question huh ?  My email is pereje70@yahoo.com Thanks.
