I was contacted by etourandtravel offering me also a Mexico vacation package and this was actually why I responded to them, because I was interested to go to Mexico and to relax on the beach, last year I was in Cuba for 7 Day's and the package was $ 1450.00 all included for me and my wife.

Aniway's a lady called me after few day"s and started to talk about orlando and daytona I told her that I was looking for Mexiko but she managed to convince me that the other package is better,on the end of our conversation she asked me for my CC # and I gave it to her thinking that they are not going to charge me until I see the DVD.

Few day's later I got the DVD and I was not very much impressed,so I send them an Email to cancel the package, this was only 7 day's later, they respond to me that they can not cancel it via Email!!!??? why? They want to talk with me I knew if I talk to them they will try to convince me again,I told them if they want to talk with me they can call me in canada and whe will talk,They never responded to that.

Well now the 15 day's cancellation time frame is past and I am charged $498.00 and I can not do anything about it.I am not going to this trip I am not getting my money back,I think I did cancel on time but they does not accept Email cancelation,I dont know what to do.I dont know how is it possible to have companies like this, somebody should shut them down because this what they are doing is not human,I hope somebody will break their neck and I wish them to get the same back what they did to us but 1000 times worser.

They took me for the initial $98 payment, but I stopped all further payments.  I am still getting calls from these people more than a year later. The people doing the scamming may in some cases be a third-party, but not always. Not even most of the time. I'm not talking to just two people.  And if you're looking at the few good posts on here... I found another site where a few posts are positive about the company.  The guy who maintains the site keeps track of the IP address of everyone who leaves comments.  All (yes ALL) of the good comments have come from an IP address listed to E Tour and Travel or its employees.

I sometimes receive 4 or 5 calls per day.  On my cell phone.  This is illegal and has been reported to the state attorney generals office of both my state and Florida.  Not to mention I have told them repeatedly that I want to be placed on their do-not-call list.  Violating that request is also a crime.

Everytime they call I have them look at the account and they are suprised to see that this is supposed to have been taken care of.  Some apologize, some threaten legal action.  I always ask them to put me on the do-not-call list.  Often they tell me they will take care of everything.  I started keeping a log of all their calls on Aug, 14. So far there are 43 enteries.  This is clearly harrasment, and cannot be disputed.  PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

after receiving the package and seeing that what they offered in print wasn't what was offered on the phone, i called to cancel and they denied me.  I contacted the consumer complaint department of my state's attorney general's office.  They wrote a letter, and within two weeks i had the credit on my discover card.   The credit card companies can't (or won't) help.  These people were so sweet, butter wouldn't melt in their mouths when they were selling me the package, but when i called to cancel they were rude and hostile.

I also have been contacted by the company and told them I was not interested.
The story they told me was that I purchased the trip with them back in 2000, (I did no such thing)and that because so much time has passed I now have to pay $99 activation fee to take the trip.  It is fradulent. Is something sounds to good to be true then it is.  And those that are knocking the people that have posted complaints either is an employee or ignorant.

I have accpeted the vacation package, last year and we leave next week.  Everything seems to be in order.  We have 6 nights in Orlando and 3 nights in daytona.  They have put us in vacation villas at fanstasy world in Kissimmee for the orlando nights and Bahama house for the daytona nights.  Both hotels seem very exceptional, in my opinion.  I would never be able to go to Florida for 10 days for the amount that we are paying again, from Canada.  E-tour and Travel is making this vacation possible for our family.   The only downfall is the 2 timeshare presentations we have to sit through one on the same property that we are staying at in Kissimee and one in New Symrna beach (Daytona).  We are taking our kids, so we have an excuse to leave early.  We have no intention on buying timeshare.  I will post again once we get back and let you know how it was.

We had an amazing trip.  We stayed in both Kissimee and Daytona and I have to tell you, I do not know what all the fuss on here is about.  I was a little worried at first after reading all this, but as it turns out is was one of the best trips our family has ever been on.  We had a minor issue with our car rental, however I called E-tour and travel first thing in the morning and they straightened it all out for us.  The units they put us in were fantastic.  I would recommend E-tour and travel to everyone, in fact I will arrange another trip down to Florida again next year.  The down fall was the (2) timeshare presentations we had to endure.  We didn't buy timeshare on this trip, but it was well worth going to the timeshare presentations considering it saved us a tonne of money.

hi i actualy looked this company up because i was concidering trying to work for them, not so sure now , but i will say a lot of the people complaining on here appear to be of low intelligence the spelling they use is horrible, in the past i have sold cars and done door to door sales, so i recognise the nervousnes  these people have once theyve commited to buy-its called buyers remorce (and yes my spelling is less than perfect!) anyways to me the deals sound pretty good as far as what you get for what you pay. personally i think everybody needs to just chill out a little, if a charge is not legit  generally your credit card company will take care of you (from what ive experienced) if i do choose to work for this company i will put an update on here and let you ALL no the results. wish me luck!!!

Simply call your credit card carrier, explain the situation. Most likely these are time share tours. For taking the Tour ( which they want to sell you a timeshare) you get the vacation.
Simply as that a discounted vacation for a tour of a time share tour. I used to sell these types of vacation packages  about 15 years ago. Did quite well at it and got moved to management.
If the package is not what they "verified" with you then you are not responsible for  the charge.
The inital person who talks to you is the seller, then another person will go over the details again, that's called the verifier. If the verifier  tells you something different then whats in the actual package, you don't have to pay, simply call your cc company and cancel the charge.
If you have 15 days to cancel and you get the package on the 14th day, no worries AS YOU CAN CANCEL UP UNTIL YOU TAKE THE TRIP. Its called a charge back and all vacation package sellers get them.
So fear not the crap you read here and don't take alot of it for fact. Do your own research, call teh hotels you'll be staying at and ask them about the vacation.
If the hotels are like umm we dont know about them then cancel right away. If the hotel clerk says yeah we deal with them. Great enjoy your discounted vacation.
398$ is the same price I used to charge working with Vacation Break USA years ago.

I, too, received the "call".  I went ahead and bought the package.  There are many complaints out there in the web concerning inability to cancel, but does anyone have any input as to the actual value of the vacation?  Do you actually receive what you're paying for?  I don't have a problem with the time-share presentation, just a little leary that I'll land in Orlando and not have a place to stay or a car waiting.

Have you actually gone and tried it???  If not, then your opinion doesn't really matter.  In our opinion it was not a sham, we we actually had one of the best family vacations ever through it. I actually hope they call again, becasue quite frankly I would do it all over again.

This is The Worst Company to get involved with. What a bunch of scammers. First they tell you you won a vacation but they need your cc# to verify who you are...DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM!!! by doing so you are agreeing to their unethical business practices and they will charge you. I was billed for three packages because the stupid b**ch screwed up and the nightmare that ensued afterwards lasted almost 6 months. I was only able to get two of them dropped by VISA and they would Not cancel the last one so I paid almost $600 for a vacation I NEVER got to take. The fact that I am on disability and can barely afford to make ends meet and this would have been my very first vacation ever meant nothing to these crooks. I hope everyone who works for these people go through something horrible that eventually brings them a conscience. And if that wasn't bad enough the assh**es never stop calling and harrassing no matter how nasty I get so now I am moving and I closed out my email account.

Sorry for hitting the vote down button. At first I thought you were another employee trying to make those of us screwed over feel bad. But after reading more I see that is not the case. My apology and if this is true they need to be stopped. They really hurt me and now they are harrassing me daily by phone. So I am moving and I deleted me hotmail account. That should get rid of them. Hopefully. Too bad you can't get this information to the mainstream media. Like America's Most Wanted or something...lol. My story is below under Teresa Myhre.

I never gave this company my credit card number.  THANK GOD.  I was suckered by a friend who sent me a link to join Livehealthclub.com with her, and I filled out a form with my address, email address, phone number, etc. and in order to process the registration I was given a little "IQ" test and asked to submit my phone number to get my results (which, as the fine print says, cost $2.00 for daily quizzes) because I had been tricked like this before, and moments later I got an email saying that I am getting two tickets for free to Universal Studios from ETravelandTourism.  I have no plans to travel to Florida any time soon, and I don't want companies I have never heard of getting thier hands on my email address to trick me into giving them my money.  So I clicked the link at the bottom of the email message to unsubscribe and it took me to a page that said 'invalid code'. Anyways I am looking at this comment board, and I can tell that those emails defending ETravelandTourism are from employees of the company.  Isn't it obvious?  These people who were scammed should have been given a simple direct way of getting thier money back. If a company gets permission to obtain credit card and email info from an individual but does so in a cryptic manner, it is still a scam!!  Trickery is still scammery!! We live in a world of legit scams.  Caveat emptor.
