My daughter and I both received calls today from these people saying I owe on a payday loan? I was completely confused, but they scared the heck out of
both of us. Threatening lawsuits, incarceration, etc. I asked them to fax information regarding the debt and they could not do that. They also wanted met o okay money be withdrawn from my account. They have my ss #, this scares me! I faxed a letter to the fax number they provided asking for information as to where and when this debt happened. That only angered them and my daughter then received another threatening and harassing phone call.

    I received 19 calls today between 430 and 615. Threatening me with jail  time and a lawsuit. When I asked for someone without such a heavy indian accent, he started yelling mother f***** among other obsenities! Said I had a payday loan for $350 from 2009. I never had a payday loan in 2009! Don't give these [***] a dime!!!

    They started calling me a month ago and have been calling ever since saying what is your lawyer's name and I was like huh who are you they would say what is your lawyer's name I said what do you want and he said you have committed check fraud and will be jailed and will receive a court notice at my job and home unless my lawyer calls them. And they said I will lose my job for theft by deception they use diff names strong middle eastern accent they use american names and always give diff numbers. They call from one that just has four numbers they also call my job

    I'm getting the same calls from these weirdos, but now the guys name is Sam Williams and he threathen me with an areest warrant. I told him to proceed as accordingly, that I wasn't worried. I make enough money that I don't need a payday loan.It's really starting to piss me off, what should I do next?

    I just got a call from JOHN SMITH @ Aerican Law Division...Im sure this is the same scam, they are very hard to understand with their heavy accent
    The phone numbers they call me from
    707-633-0002 and760-111-1000 and 805-536-5187 ..Says I owe money from a payday loan and that they will be at my home or work to serve me with an arrest warrant..Scary that they have my personal information.
    How can I report them and or who ever is givin away all our personal information?

    I just posted a complaint, but misspelled the name of the company ..sorry its "AMERICAN LAW DIVISION"....Since reading the other complaints Ive been trying to call the above numbers they had called me from and suprise..call cannot be completed...anyone gonna sue??? contact me  kimf909@hotmail.com

    The same [***] have being calling me. The first time the called they said I have a payloan with EZ Cash and now they are saying US Cash. So when I began to ask him questions like where is there law firm located he began to get nervous and his words began to stutter. They have posted a article in my hometown newspaper and it has also beened aired on the local news stations. So please beware of these scam artist.

    I got a call from American Law Division on an old payday loan.  The guy that called was Jack Smith, again a phony name. The number they called from was 424-245-8902 and call my job. I called back and no answer. I left a detailed message to not call my job again. It is against the law in Texas to call someone's job and harass them while at work.

    They aren't real debt collectors.  You don't owe them anything.  If you did owe someone a loan, even a payday loan, you wouldn't owe it to them.

    They are running a criminal extortion racket, reported to be using access to old payday loan data as well as consumer credit report information to con consumers out of unowed money through illegal threats.  They are often reported to have thick Indian or middle eastern accents, to have ridiculous phony english names, and to use ridiculous sort of legal sounding names, like they are some strange "law enforcement" agency you never heard of.

    These are criminals who have been using phone threats to con people into sending money for several years.  There are several warnings out on them, starting with the West Virginia Attorney General, BBB, and a number of other sources.

    They can't do anything but call and make vile threats.  Call the police or FBI, and if they keep calling, tell them you are recording the call to use as evidence.  Or just hang up.

    They started calling me on December 17th, 2010. I never answered the phone since it was a number I didn't recongize. They ended the message with "If you do not call me back right now the only thing I can say is Good Luck to you Mr. V*****n." They also called my work, but I wasn't there. These people will not get anything from me, and if they start calling again I give them something to threaten me for.....

    I have been called several times saying that my dad owes them money and he put me as a co signer. the latest call was saying if my dad and i dont pay we will go to jail. the have deep indian accents and give american names. they are dirt bags and need to get caught.

    Just today, 01/06/2011, these people contacted me again and harassed and threatened me.  I turned the tables on them and told them that this call is being recorded.  The first call was from a Devon Smith again.  After I continued to question him who he was, he switched me to someone else.  That person got upset when I wouldn't respond to his questions and I questioned him instead.  He hung up on me.  I called their number for an hour and a half giving them a taste of their own medicine.  I called, though, hiding my number, so they didn't know who I was.  When I called the last time, I used my number that they were calling and told them that this call is being recorded and asked many questions.

    In the beginning, the guy knew who I was from the caller ID, but on the last call, he stated that he didn't have any of my information.  He was yelling and screaming.  Funny.

    The number that he called from is the following 1-786-539-4784.

    I got a call from the scumbag looking for my neice. He said he was from a law firm trying to collect a debt. I started asking questions and he got furious. He started using foul language and hung up.I called back several times and he hung up on me. He said his name was John Nelson with a Florida number.I will report this to the Atty General's office.I want him to call me back, so I can harrass him.

    I had the same thing happen to me punks. They call up as American Credit Cruncher, Cyber Crime Unit now American Law Division. I put a complaint with the FTC she said it is a scam. So they call 1 day at 6:30 am I told him I told him off. He went to tell me he will send a team of investigator I told him I will be at home at 6:30 pm bring it to my door. I dare you. He hung up. Then they call again at 3:15 pm the same day he told me the same thing I told bring it I got some thing for you he hung. Boy I would love to see these punks on the street.

    I was also receiving several phonecall started in Nov. 2010 they left a  messsage telling me that I owed money and gave me a # to call back but it would be cple days before I would get to return the call & when I did it would always say that the # was disconnected. on Jan. 31, 2011 some how they got my work # left a message 4 me to call them. The first day she used the name of Nancy Smith. Then the next day called and said her name was Nancy White both days she left different #'s to call,were 718-518-3033 and 786-533-3033 when I finally got thru to them & ask for her they could not provide me with her just kept telling me that she was on break or out of the office, so another guy by the name of Neil Johnson said that he would take care of me. He had an Indian accent and you could barely understand him. He ensisted that I owed money to a Cash Advance company and it was for $602. and gave me a case #. I ask him for the name & number of the creditor he told me that they didn't want to talk to me and he wouldn't give it to me. Told me I had to fax him a paper stating that I gave them permission to debit my account with a debit card or mastercard in the amount owed and then sign it. And that he wanted it within the hour or a lawsuit was going to be filed. The fax # he gave me that day was 305-390-2797. I didn't do this cause something was telling me that it wasn't right, so I go online and checked the payday loan that I had from 2009 and called the company & they told me that I didn't owe them anything. The next day on Feb. 3rd I tried calling that # back and nothing would go thru said it has been alocated. Today on Feb. 4th, 2011 the guy called back I told him that I spoke to a lawyers office and they said that it was not legal for me to be typing up my own agreement to pay something that it had to come from them with there letter head, He got huffy with me and started to threaten me with a lawsuit and yelling at me. I said that if you are legite you will provide me with this information he gave me a # supposeably for the cash company but would not email me or fax me anything with a letter head. The number he gave for the company is 863-288-0032 so I called the number he gave me and imagine that it went right back to them "American Law Division" I told the guy who claimed to be Scott Snyder about it and he hung up on me, I looked it up on line and found that everything that was happening to me has happened to several others also. I called the # back again but this time blocked my # and the same guy answered but gave me a different name it was Austin and I confronted him about being the same person and that I was reporting them and he hung up!  Be careful I was almost taken on this but something just didn't feel right they also changed the fax# the 2nd one they gave me was 206-309-9847

    Don't know how you can stop them from calling but they were calling me also and I Called them back and told them that the conversations that we had were recorded and that I was reporting them. They also hung up I also left them know that I had all the numbers they gave me and was reporting them also, these are some of the#'s 786-533-3033, 718-518-3033, 863-288-0032, had these #'s looked up by phone directory and she said they are all Florida #'s but theres no listings for what company they are. If you figure anything out let me know. Since I have done that haven't heard anything back yet but then again its only been a couple of hours. Will see!
