I purchased the Husky HU80722 2600psi Pressure Washer late 2008 from Home Depot. In less than a year, August 2009, there was a problem with water pressure or the lack of water pressure. I called the 1-866-340-3912 help number listed on my paperwork and they referred me to a local repair shop, "Scottys Small Engine" 1550 Azalea Garden Rd, Norfolk Va. I dropped the pressure washer off on August 29, 2009 and it's still there. I call many times each month with no luck on the repair. They claim the supplier has backorder the part needed, but several times have told me that they have the parts and it would be fixed, only to find out that they were lying, again. I just want my pressure washer fixed.

My father purchased the Husky HU80722 2600psi Pressure Washer just before he passed away in 2011 and we have used the washer four times tops and now have the same problem everyone is complaining about, no pressure.  Is there any recourse for this?

I purchased the Husky HU80722 2600psi Pressure Washer. and we have used the washer four times tops (one season) and now have the same problem everyone is complaining about, no pressure.  Is there any recourse for this? I am investigating new pump options. RMW 2.2G24 is imprinted on  the pump. I really don't  want to purchase the same pump that has failed for so many  other unfortunates. Surely after so many complaints a fix has been achieved. If you don't want to acknowledge the product is faulty, at least point me towards a new pump.

I bought my HU80722 in the summer of 2008 in Akron, OH and got to power wash  my deck one time. That's the last time it worked. It still delivers no pressure other than the tap pressure. I'll bet that the pump is defective and has no serviceable parts. A replacement on line is over $75 from Mastertoolrepair.com/husky for the whole pump. You install. The good news is that the Honda engine runs like a top. The bad news is that my $300 "toy" is just a pretty piece of red metal with wheels on it. I bought it about two years ago...and the warranty is probably out.

My email is tlindberg1@neo.rr.com if you want to let me know how your situation is progressing. Thanks.  Tom L.  If you send me your email I will let you know how I make out.

I have the same experience.  Used the pressure washer once.  After that it never generated pressure.  I don't feel I should have to pay to repair.  Will most likely look elsewhere for machinery do to unrelyable products from HD.

I too was lured into buying the Husky HU80722, got to use it about 4 times before it started the low pressure pumping. Took it to the authorized repair center and they said most likely it was the pressure regulator and the company won't warranty it because we have well water. Nothing in the documentation said anything about that and they kept it 3 weeks and didn't even take the regulator off to look. I removed the regulator and there was some type of hard black material in it. Cleaned it out but it still doesn't work. A new "good" pump, from a "reputable supplier", is $175 dollars and will last forever and doesn't care about "well water" and is a direct replacement. (Guess which one I'll buy?)I also noticed that Husky no longer installs that style of pump anymore, wonder why??? P.S. Yeah it's still in warranty but you should try to contact those people.

I also bought a Husky HU80722 from Home Depot and had the same experience. Used it 3-4 times, and the pump seems shot, no pressure. Engine starts/runs fine.  This seems to be a widespread problem with this model.  I am writing to Home Depot to complain. This was an expensive tool, and it should not fail after just a few uses.

I contacted Tinsely at the email listed in the second comment above. I received the reply the same afternoon; got a call from the repair center this morning; taking it to Home Depot to have them send it in.

They weren't real happy with the authorized repair people I took it to. I'm sure they'll be getting a phone call.

Here is the Customer service center contact 1-800-242-4672

They are called Homelite customer service not Husky.

Wife picked up the repaired pressure washer yesterday, tested it today, worked wonderfully. The repair shop replaced the pump with the newer verison. Thanks Tinsley and thanks Homelite service center.

I'm having problems with mine too, it just died today. It will start and run but when you squeeze the trigger to spray it kills the engine like the pump is about locked up. I don't know but I am far from impressed with this thing!

I have the same problem with my Husky model HU80722 as those above.  I used it twice and when i went to use it over the weekend there was no pressure.  I took it upon myself to repair it and when i opened the pump up I found that two of the plastic valve assemblies had failed.  The seats of the valves were deformed.  I found this sight when i went up on the web to see if i could find a rebuilding kit.  I should not have to pay for these parts either.  Any suggestions???

Hello Tinsley, I'm seeking your assistance in resolving my issue with the same type of pressure washer that the other customers above have reported. I purchased my Husky model HU80722 in July 2008, since then I have used it three times and when i went to use it today, at first very little pressure came out for about 5-10 minutes and then it stopped spraying water for good. I believe my pump is locked up as well. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

We are having the same issue as described above.  Used it only once and we went to use it today and it has no pressure.  Would Home Depot be able to send it for repair?  Will it cost a lot tp replace the part?
