I purchased the Husky HU80722 2600psi Pressure Washer late 2008 from Home Depot. In less than a year, August 2009, there was a problem with water pressure or the lack of water pressure. I called the 1-866-340-3912 help number listed on my paperwork and they referred me to a local repair shop, "Scottys Small Engine" 1550 Azalea Garden Rd, Norfolk Va. I dropped the pressure washer off on August 29, 2009 and it's still there. I call many times each month with no luck on the repair. They claim the supplier has backorder the part needed, but several times have told me that they have the parts and it would be fixed, only to find out that they were lying, again. I just want my pressure washer fixed.

I have the same issue with the same model as described above. Purchased on 09/01/2008; ergo warranty is expired. The water pump is shot...as I had it checked today. Costs over $200 to have reapir shop replace pump...Can you offer any assistance?

Your unloader is the problem not the pump. Suprised you did not blow the head of the pump off.
Those machines are sold on price alone nothing else.

It seems that there are a lot of issues with this unit. I have also had the same issue but when is called the warranty line 1-800-242-4672, I found what my issue was. I did not use the Pump Saver when I stored it so that caused my loss of pressure. I was told to put LIMEAWAY in the inlet tube, pull the pullrope 4x then let it sit for 4 hours. That worked & I got my pressure back. I continued to used PumpSaver when I store the pump & have not had any more problems. I have had it for over 2 years & had been great!

    I hope that this helps

I'm trying the LIMEAWAY.  I've only used mine about 10 hours total over 2 years.  Really disappointed in my Home Depot purchase.  Engine runs fine, pumps at a lower pressure, never reaches high pressure.

Tried the Limeaway overnight.....Did not restore the pressure.  Still too low.  LOOKS LIKE IT TIME FOR A NEW PUMP.  ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHERE TO GET A REPLACEMENT?

I purchased the Husky HU80722 Pressure Washer at the Home Depot in Abilene, Texas and it no longer produces pressure.   I have done all the obvious troubleshooting...cleaning the inlet filter/screen,shortening the inlet hose, unkinking all hoses, bleeding the wand....i have even unbolted the bottom of the pump where the hoses connect (the distributor?....i dont know what to call it) and cleaning the orifices and applying lubricant to the seals and other rubber components.  The pump operates but it just doesn't produce pressure.  Do you know where I can I buy just the "distributor"? or do u have any other suggestions?

Hi Tinzley, I see you seem to be the go to person. I sent you an Email since you advertised it on this post. Please read my email. I am in trouble with my husband since he warned me not to buy this item but I took the word of the sales professional that it is perfectly in running condition!

Well, you have sure been getting a lot of these. I also bought a Husky HU80722 from Home Depot and had the same experience. Used it 3-4 times, and the pump seems shot, no pressure. Engine starts/runs fine. Out of warranty. Where can I get a pump to fix? I am told it is only a few bolts to replace. Is there a replacement up grade to this pump? Read here somewhere that the original pump has been discontinued and replaced…..what a surprise!!!Anybody know the new pump replcement part number? Where to get it?
Appreciate any help. I live in Florida and normally use my washer about 4 times a year….do I need PumpSaver? Never had to in the past.

I also bought a Husky HU80722 from Home Depot and have had  the same problem. Used it about 10 times and the pump went, the original pump has been discontinued but there is a replacement, best deal I found for the pump  was on Amazon. Pump was replaced about 6 months ago used it 4 times since and went to use it the other day and no pressure. Will never buy another Husky. Hope this helps.

Same problem as other posts, pressure water cease to flow, pump locks up and motor stalls. Tried adjusting unloader, remove jet valve re assemble, will get water through gun again until motor starts, locks again. Plastic valves look ok, unloader, etc. Any help on what parts to replace appreciated. Machine few years old used about 6 times.

    Thanks,
