I purchased the Husky HU80722 2600psi Pressure Washer late 2008 from Home Depot. In less than a year, August 2009, there was a problem with water pressure or the lack of water pressure. I called the 1-866-340-3912 help number listed on my paperwork and they referred me to a local repair shop, "Scottys Small Engine" 1550 Azalea Garden Rd, Norfolk Va. I dropped the pressure washer off on August 29, 2009 and it's still there. I call many times each month with no luck on the repair. They claim the supplier has backorder the part needed, but several times have told me that they have the parts and it would be fixed, only to find out that they were lying, again. I just want my pressure washer fixed.

I also have the same problem. I took mine to an authorized repair shop, was told the it would cost me about $250.00 since it was out of warranty. I used this unit about 5 times. Husky needs to acknowledge they have a pump problem and quit ducking their responsibility. I bought mine at hte Home Depot in Rossford, Ohio.

Hi Tinzley, I also have the Husky HU80722 that was bought at Home Depot in Wadsworth ,OH. Seems to have a pump problem, the soap dispenser sucks water in and overflows with greatly diminished pressure. The unit runs great and has been used infrequently.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Tensley,

I also have a Husky HU80722, bought at the Home Depot Greensboro GA. Have only used it about 6 times over 2 years and now no pressure at all. Engine works fine, starts every time. Just no pressure.
    Can you help? Thanks.

    Tensely,

I also have the Husky HU80722, bought at Aberdeen WA, Home Depot. I've used it 4 times, and this year I got absolutely NO pressure when the engine is running. Engine works great, pump does not.

Has anyone had any luck with getting it fixed?

I have the same problem as everybody else. The motor will start fine, but the pump will not work under pressure. Had it for approx 18 months. Used it about 10 times. Was using it and it was working fine turned it off and came back and started it and the pump didn't work. You tube had a video how to rebuild pump but could not fine rebuild kit. Found new pump for 64.00 at a small engine repair shop. Was told by them that the pump that I got was the third one that they have made to replace previous pumps with problems. Was told this one has not had any problems yet. Here is the number of the pump I got HM,308653025. Hope this helps you.

    Tinzley.

I have a similar problem, I used the pressure washer maybe 3 to 4 times and there is very little pressure coming from the water gwand but there is water flowing consistantly into the soap reservoir. I took it back to Home Depot in Homestead Florida where Jorge and Alex in the tool rental department tried to help. They advised me, after three weeks of it being there, that they could not fix it and blamed it on ther Husky Representative and said Husky no longer makes this washer and has no parts. This is ridiculous, I am going to pick it up tomorrow and I am asking for assistamce on where and how to get the pressure washer fixed. I considered it an investment at the time, but it just looks good now and I do not have the money for a new one. This is not right, I hope you are still connected to this site and you can offer assistance please. The model is HU80722 with a GCV160 Honda Engine. The telephone number for the Home Depot where I nought and where I took it for service is (786)243-1969 (x392) Jorge or Alex.

Same as above,no water flow engine locks up when pull started.
Husky cust. service said to soak it in c.l.r.
Did not hook up yet don't want to waste my time.
Still can't get air pressure through on wand side of pump (still blocked)
Where can I get a rebuild kit and a exploded view of the pump??
I don't much care for the replacement pump shortened hose mounts in back.
    Would much appreciate it!!!!

    Thanks.

Boy, looks like we all know how to pick the good ones!  I made the same mistake, purchased the Husky HU80722 with a GCV160 Honda Engine at Home Depot in Columbus Ohio. I figured Honda motor, it's got to be good.  It worked great for a few times then same issue as everyone else, no pressure. I used limeaway and I also used a pump lubricant and got it working again. I think the pressure relief valve on these is junk and sticks. I took mine off and cleaned it and let it soak in wd-40 and that seemed to cure the problem for good. Got it out the other day to wash the car and it was working great. Put the wand down to scrub the tires and when I squeezed the trigger again it lost pressure and I saw water shooting out from the pump area. Shut it off and inspected the pump where the water was coming from and the pump housing had a crack down one of the mold seams in the casting. Unbelievable!  They put a real quality pump on these! Guess I should have went to Sears and bought another Craftsman, My 6 year old Craftsman is still going strong.

I bought a new pump on-line for about 75 dollars. There are lots of them out there with a high price of less than a hundred. There's a U-Tube video that will show you how to replace it in minutes. Mine was about three years old and worked fine, though (like the others) it finally failed. The new unit (pump) has been in it for about three months and it works great.
