contacted by a company called in-house solutions. 612 254 1548 regarding a credit card from 2009, statue in ga is 6 years. I've passed the statue by over 3 years. they call my mother my brother, threats of lawsuits. I called my lawyer she called them. they refuse to give out an address and hung up on her. used profanity over the phone after I said I would record them. in ga one person can approve recording. after that, they stopped calling. 2 days later someone in Columbus ga calls. 706 341 0219 doesn't call me calls my brother and once again tells him why. I call them back and they hang up. refuse to answer questions. of course no address once again. i'm very sick due to an accident in 2014 i suffer from neuropathy and severe panic disorder. they cannot sue and collect on a time-barred debt and they know it. i'm reaching a breaking point

This morning I did get an alert from the credit monitoring to notify me that my email address was on the dark web - so obviously some of my information was breached. Then this afternoon, maybe by coincidence, I get a call from this "In-House Solutions" from a PA (570) 867-9965 number asking me to contact them immediately regarding an issue, and left a number of (888) 982-2082. So I called both numbers which led me to the same person. They picked up and immediately said my name - maiden name, but wanted me to confirm my information. I did a search on the web while I was on the phone again - and its an obvious scam. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION. She couldn't even tell me what their website address was, and proceeded to get all irritated with me saying that she had other calls to attend to.
These people are scumbags and have nothing else better to do except scamming people out of money. Get a good credit monitoring subscription and don't buy into their cons. Financial institutions that have held your accounts have your personal information and know how to get in contact with you - they typically send letters. Plus if you do have an item in collections it will show up on your credit report.
They are serious bullies!!!
I got a call last week and they left the message about being faxed a complaint,,, yada yada.. then for me to call back at an 888 phne number,
The number they were calling me from was my area code and caller ID says New lorence PA. I have never heard of a New Florence PA but when I called them back the girl was quite willing to give me her name.
Claimed I owed this debt of 1900 that I had notified the company that I refused to pay, It was a debt dating back to 2008... I kept insisting they had the wrong person and they were insistent they didn't.
They went on to say it was Jan 2015 that I told the company I refused to pay and I said that would not matter cause SOL in PA is 4 years... and that brought another argument of insisting it ws 6.
They never mentioned my address or social... and would not give me their address that I told them I wanted for my atty. I only was told they were from Alabama.........
They called twice more that day, and also my mom's phone once.. which I answered. A different girl. I told her I had already talked to the other one and I am not the person. She put me on hold for a few minutes and then I got
a connection that said the person was unavailable at the time.
I blocked the numbers on mom's phone and then I got one on my cell.
Today, a week later I got a call from them with same message, mom got a call that was blocked, and I got one on my cell.
OHHHHHHHH. Thursday I got a robocall with the same message. Same voice. and as I recall same number... but this time they said Global Management instead of In House.
There needs to be a way to stop them. If you have an address you can write and tell them to not call again and
if they do you can sue them and get $1000 for each violation...
You would think that the phone company would have an address to bill them at... but maybe everything is online?
So how can you tell if you’re being targeted by a fake debt collector?
A caller may be a fake debt collector if:
you don’t recognize the debt or it is time barred.
you can’t get a mailing address or phone number for the collector
you’re asked for personal financial or sensitive information
you’re threatened with arrest or told you’ll be reported to a law enforcement agency
You have rights when it comes to debt collection. Tell the caller that you won’t discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice," which has to include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
