I had purchased a washing machine (6th Sensation)in Oct 2007 fromm an authorised dealer at Pondicherry. From day 1 this was giving problem of getting switch off frequently. After some time their service engineers told some gasket problem then they have changed the gasket. Again some drum problem which the had attended few months ago. Again drum problem and now they are telling that drum need to be changed just after the warranty is over. I am struggling for last one month but in Whirlpool no body is giving the correct issue. Even though complaint was booked absolutely no response. I have complaint no. with me with other documents.

WFW8300SW00 - absolute junk, first one I had failed after 1WEEK, got a new one, nothing but trouble.  Now I have the dreaded F22 error.  Tried replacing the door lock, didn't help.  Maybe it's the CCU, that's a $300+ fix, so basically this washer is headed for the dump.  Whirlpool should be ashamed of their products.

I have model WFW8400TW02 from the first day i got it, it shook like a magnitude 87 earthquake. I was unable to return it for different make and model. So during the first week of ownership a service tech came out and said; "it was something I'd have to live with ! !"  Then about a 6-months later not only did the washer started smelling musty but it also made the clean clothes smell musty too, and the service tech again said; "it was something I'd have to live with ! !" adding; "that if we kept the fill dispenser out and left the door open it would help lessen the smell ! !" NOW it is starting to leak intermittently. Right out of the box this washer has been nothing but trouble ! ! I would never buy another Whirlpool and to quote others: "Whirlpool should be ashamed of their products ! !"

We bought the Whirlpool Washer WFW88HEAW and Whirlpool Dryer WGD88HEAW, both of these were purchased in June 2014 in less than three years the washer busted with an extremely loud bang. The whole side panel and drum came out with lots of parts and small pieces flying out of the machine created a mess. This is what great American products are made of, it is a shame as this is my second machine in less than 6 years. The washer started smelling of mold lately as the other posts above were complaining of.
