Every attempt has been made to stop the harrassment from this company, to no avail!

606 834 8725 Lester, Inc

*when I pick up phone, nobody answers
*when I don't pick up the phone, no messages are left on my voice mail
*when I attemp to call the number, no one answers, or there is a
computerized "mailbox full" message after dozens of rings.
I have reported this phone number to the National-Do-Not-Call registry, and no action has apparently been taken against them.

There must be some way to stop this group of leeches!
Maybe a barrage of complaints from recipients of these calls.

    Have called, & emailed Lester, Inc & attempted to ask NICELY to stop the incessant calls-------to no avail. I even sent them a link to the FCC regulations governing The Do-Not-Call legislation.
    I have reported dozens of calls to the FCC.
    The calls keep coming!
    They obviously aren't interested!
    I wonder why we even have legislation, if it's not going to be inforced!

      I keep getting calls from this number too. THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY IS USELESS. People should complain to their representatives about it. If you do call their 800 number as listed above, be sure to dial *67 before you dial so you phone number is blocked. We don't want to encourage them to call more!

        *67 doesn't work on 800 numbers... they're paying for the call so they get you CID no matter what

      Apologize to read about this as I can try to correct this matter if u would like help with this matter. You have to specify to Lester directly  when they call and let them make notation of your request of them or the project they are calling on behalf of that u wish to not receive calls from otherwise they aren't clear and cannot confirm and properly record it down for u example: if u just say don't call me please and hang up they are unable to help you properly, sorry to hear of this and hope this is helpful for you in the future

      You guys are all true guruaid really sucks they are mean machine deceiving all the customers with unnecessary steps they perform they decieve people by advertisementsts stating they also support Microsoft etc but do noting,to get money they would go up to any mean extent but when it comes to troubleshooting they have fix steps then nothing else,this not a fault of people working there but actually the bullying owner Rajiv.B.Sawant and Nikhil Kothari who keep the employees job at risk if they don't try to get money out of customers pocket.Actually the above two guys should be sued and the concern should be raised to BBB forum and Microsoft.

    I too keep getting calls from this number and no one answers.  I am on the national do not call list and how they got my number is unknown but I wish someone could do something with them.

    I get calls from Lester Inc. on a regular basis. I never answer, but the number is (203) 481-8212, different from the others complained about.

      U must answer a call and simply ask that they can explain how and why they're calling and then u may tell the caller to submit a do not call request but u must let them put it into the system before hanging up or won't work at all either if u do not pick up at all then we can't read your mind because we are recorded in order to ensure procedure is followed and u are help properly, hope this helps you

        Are you too lazy to consult the Do Not Call Directory?  We do not have to answer, or tell you anything.  It is your responsibility to check with the Do Not Call list...and if we are on it...DO NOT CALL

        To those of you complaining the do not call list does not work....you are dead wrong.  They wait until they receive an unknown number of complaints and then take action.

        I am in the state of Missouri and over the past year I have received notices of fines in the hundreds of thousands of dollars against people I have filed a complaint against.  I file my complaints online and it only takes a minute or two

        Just keep reporting them.  When they get hit with the fine, these idiots will sink back into the hole they came out of

          I don't work for them or any other company like them, but rather a law office so I felt it necessary to give you some free legal knowledge.

          Actually, the reps calling do NOT consult a Do Not Call Registry. Most have no idea what phone number they're even dialing as it's all on a call script on their server. It it up to the companies selling the data file to these companies that are responsible for having the numbers removed. Also, as the representative indicated, simply stating do not call again and hanging up does not meet the requirement to have your number removed. Give them the 30 seconds it takes to record your information to have your data removed from the call script. It's worth the 30 seconds to stop the calls.

          Is it a pain in the as$? Yes. But it is worth it and if you receive calls after 48 hours after advising them you wish to be removed, you can file the complaint with the FCC and ultimately litigate for consumer harassment.

    The reason why they aren't being prosecuted is because the law does not apply to non-profits or those making calls on behalf of non-profits.  Lester has a divsion that fundraises for non-profits (see their home page under industries).

    They've been calling me too, but there is no use since they are exempt.

      I second your statements the company owner Rajiv Sawant is sitting here in US
      among us trying to mend law with money .He  has law and some big people whom he entertain with his money laundering and come up with insane tricks to yank our money,they have company named Lester inc which runs lots of fraud processes and his other partner in India Nikhil Kothari does same thing in India where near lobbies money and try to keep their scam up these guys should be sued and their regime should be toppled .

    I think the thing that would work is if we can find who their clients are and complain to them.  Problem is, I have no idea because they spend so much time calling without leaving a message even when I pick up.  Find out their clients, inundate them with calls demanding that they fire Lester for unbusinesslike practices.  It should be a pretty easy sell.

    I was getting the same phone calls everyday at 9:30EST and I called 1-606-833-0102 and spoke to the lady and they took off of their call list. It seems that they have a automated dialer that calls you and there is a 3-4 second delay and before they answer most people hang up. They are trying to renew free magazine subscriptions. Hope this helps!!!
