Every attempt has been made to stop the harrassment from this company, to no avail!

606 834 8725 Lester, Inc

*when I pick up phone, nobody answers
*when I don't pick up the phone, no messages are left on my voice mail
*when I attemp to call the number, no one answers, or there is a
computerized "mailbox full" message after dozens of rings.
I have reported this phone number to the National-Do-Not-Call registry, and no action has apparently been taken against them.

There must be some way to stop this group of leeches!
Maybe a barrage of complaints from recipients of these calls.

    I complained via e-mail to their sales department and got a return e-mail from Joan Marcus, Senior VP 203-488-5365 asking for my phone number. Since they are calling me, I assume they already have my number and did not want to be further targeted for complaining. So I filed a complaint with the BBB, the Federal Trade Commision and the FCC. I got confirmation e-mails from all three agencies. I then forwarded these to Ms. Marcus. If every one started calling her and filing complaints, maybe something will get done. Everytime they call me, I am going to record it and call Ms. Marcus and play it back. This is her personal office line.

    I just received a call from these folks too, and added their number to my "Call Blocker 10."

    Pick up a Digitone Call Blocker 10, and block the sucker.  I got tired of getting the "charitable" exceptions, and grabbed two of these (I have two lines) and my unwanted rings have gone down to maybe one a week.

    Unlike MaBell, who will give you excuses why they cannot block 800 numbers, this device has 80 "slots" for blocked numbers, and you can block an entire area code as ONE slot.. ie: 800-xxx-xxxx.  I've blocked 800-888-887-886 so far, and it's worked very well.  You can also block exchanges, ie: 800-555-xxxx.

    Right out of the box, the unit will block OPX numbers, which are Anonymous, Out of area, Unknown, Private or "spoofed" numbers (where the displayed CID info does not match the CID signal from MaBell).  You can opt to keep these blocked or to delete them from the unit.

    The BLOCKED calls will NOT display on your phone, but they WILL display on your "call history" on the LCD readout of the Call Blocker 10.

    NOTE: I do not sell these, I don't get a commission for them, I just had a problem to solve and spent hours searching all the dozen or so call block devices on the 'net, reading PDF manuals, and comparing features..  This one is the best bang for your buck, and has the most "blocking" slots.  Also, the manual is only six pages long, it doesn't take an electrical engineer to competently use all the features.

      Let me second that.  The Call Blocker 10 is a tad pricey but I still rated it as one of the top buys I have made in a long time.  Plugged it in and the number of unwanted calls dropped at once.  I have also blocked several pests of long standing.   I don't sell these either so believe me when I say this little device will save your sanity.  And if you have a multi-line PBS system, look for the PRO model that's due out soon.  www.digitone.com.  You won't be sorry!

    Perhaps you may consider contacting the Attorney General's office in the perspective state to report the abuse.  Hopefully, that will work!  I've only received a few calls from (606) 834-8302.  However, I never answer and they never leave a message.  I therefore gathered that it must not be too important (smile).  I hope the info. helps in some way.

    I receive a call from Lester Inc nearly every day (203-481-8212).  I do not pick up the phone.  I followed advice from several of the postings here and called 606-833-0102.  A polite sounding woman answered the phone and took my number and said it would be removed from their call list within 24 hours.  Cross fingers it works.

    I get some calls from (606) 834-8302 as well -- but no message left... According to RNL, it's a cell phone.

    I received two calls from this company tonight. The problem for me is that tonight's calls probably mark over 100 calls I have received from these nuts.

    No matter what I do or whom I call the calls continue to come. I too, am on the "do-not-call" list, however, Lester keeps calling. I have contacted the company.....yet they continue to call.

    I threatened to call the Better Business Bureau and the Do Not Call people but they persist in calling.

    a little insight into your problem. this is code they have to follow. you specifically have to say take my number off lester incs call list. if u say remove me from the call list its a rejection. saying do not call me anymore gets u removed from the clients call list. so you specifically have to say take me off the lester inc call list and they say they remove it completely so u get no more calls. hope this helps!!

    Been receiving calls from 203-481-8212, can't understand their talking, refence is to Lester!

    Vonage says they don't know how this is happening.  We get these 606 834 8725 calls all the time from Russell, KY.  When you call it back it says it is a non-connected number.  

    It's a scam for sure.

    How can a business exist with the expense of a phone line and the effort to call out like this, with no communication going out?  And they risk all the legal consequences?

    Lester INC and Lester USA is aka Guruaid and there are complaints all over the web about Guruaid.  BBB CT has Lester accredited! and their web site as Guruaid .com.  When are these people and others like them going to be stopped?
