I received a text message saying, I won a gift card for the amount of $1,000. advice to go to bestbuy-winner.com  and enter winner code 5555. When I attempted to get into this web page, I did not see how to entry this winner code, nor any information explaining how this works.

    I recieve a text at 12:ooam.  est but winner and code 5555 won.  This is so much crap.  You win nothing and waste your time.  This is so wrong of Best Buy and bad for buisness.  I'd rather shop somewhere else that stands by their words.  You lied to me.  I won nothing and its your way to get the public to go to your site.  Shame on you.

      I ditto that!! I will go into Best But tomorrow and make a formal COMPLAINT. They are using my text message time and using my cell phone for FRAUD messaging information. Sounds like a class act law suit to me!!!!!

      Best buy releases a statement, clearly they are not trying to defraud people. Hope you didnt waste your time yelling at employees who have nothing to do with this.

    You probably all downloaded a virus when you went to the site, or something that steals your phone's info. Cant believe YOU ARE THE PEOPLE that let spammers keep thinking this stuff works. Apparently, IT DOES!

        I agree with you, cause I got the samething today!! So Leelee..I didn't download nothing, it was sent to me, through a text. If you was so smart you will know the same way how people trying to sell you something get your number...is the same way, these people get your numbe. Cell, phone numbers are not privet..sells people buy, your number from the phone company

        You ass yes you can download by going to a site.  Called ActiveX, Java and several other scipting languages.  I can setup to have you download and and take control of your phone/PC or any devices no matter the AV or firewall you use if you initiate the connection.
