I received a text message saying, I won a gift card for the amount of $1,000. advice to go to bestbuy-winner.com  and enter winner code 5555. When I attempted to get into this web page, I did not see how to entry this winner code, nor any information explaining how this works.

    I agree its a scamm  for that advertising cell phone company cuz if you reply STOP2QUIT you WiLL get charged 10.00 dollars for that text so just delete message. found out the hard way...

    You can send a free text to 7726 - I use AT&T - AT&T will reply with a text asking you to supply the sender's phone number so they will know who sent the text.

    All text messages are free.

    Not sure what AT&T does with this info but maybe if enough people send the numbers in, it will help eliminate these unwanted messages.

    I receipt 1 text from 19176904365 let me know lile this:
    " Congratulatios, your number has make you Best Buy's winner of the day!  and they give to me go to bestbuy.ca.texwon.com to claimmy prize. I try but they do not show up?

    They are still on the go.  Just recieved the same scam txt message with winner code 5555.  Friday night teen prank?  Message says it's from #315-775-6453.

    Got the text twice in a row from two different phone numbers -- 281-753-3516  and 30 seconds later  413-362-9534.

    I just got the same text and thanks to all of you reporting it being a scam you saved me time. Thanks for sharing. How can people sleep at night knowing what they have done may have hurt someone financially.
