I received a text message saying, I won a gift card for the amount of $1,000. advice to go to bestbuy-winner.com  and enter winner code 5555. When I attempted to get into this web page, I did not see how to entry this winner code, nor any information explaining how this works.

    I just received this message but I actually signed up for a best buy gift card so I thought it was real guess not my code is differant as well

    It's a virus......my AntiVirus detected it and blocked it. Those of u who went to the site may want to update ur AntiVirus and run a scan.

    I also received text message for $1000 gift card & couldn't find where to enter code.  There should be a way that these people should get in trouble for sending bogus money awards & wasting time on our phones when we didn't even enter in any contest. wish people would quit trying to scam others out of their hard earned $.

    straight up scam city, the dead giveaway is when you get a message that looks like it is typed by a 5th grader, with multiple misspellings, and no punctuation.

    i've gotten the same thing, i see nothing pretaining to how to collect my gift card. This a real sham!!!!

    I recieved a text saying i am a winner with # and said to fill out an annual survey. the number was 484-265-1504. I traced the line to a land line. and the site they gave me doesn't exist. what's the point?

    My husband showed me a text saying he won a 1,000 gift card I always tell him that [***] is B [***] we tryed today to enter the code 7482 and nothing happend we dailed the phone number that was posted 717 616 6156 and that [***] was phoney who ever get them lim messages please dont belive it who in this world today 2012 is going to give anyone 1000 u out your mind as well.

    I know this is fake but I have been noticing a trend. Has everybody that received a false message *also*  given their phone number to best buy at some point? I'm sensing a security leak , just speculating tho.
