Deceptive Advertising and scams

I recently purchased a starter kit for the Chaz Dean Wen product through Guthy-Renker. The product itself builds up on your hair with continued use and no longer works after a month. Also, Guthy-Renker does not adequately advertise that upon purchase of the starter kit you are actually comitting to 3 additional months of product delivery and an additional amount charged automatically to your debit/credit card. It is not clearly stated on the G-R site nor on the Chaz Dean homepage.
Guthy-Renker and Chaz Dean are obviously working together to defraud the consumer marketplace in this situation.
DO NOT ORDER THE WEN PRODUCT OR DO ANY BUSINESS WITH GUTHY-RENKER.

Dispute unauthorized or fraudulent charges through your bank, and close any accounts you have provided to prevent additional fraud.
I am so tired of these scams on the internet--I almost don't want to buy anything anymore online for fear of fraud.
I findit interesting that someone you took the call and was not paid well can defend the game.
If this product was all that it would be ligning the salon walls.
Watch you back
I called and placed a phone order and NEVER ONCE was told that I was signing up for some monthly autoship program.
Wen's products have known carcinogens (not readily disclosed on website) in them so go ahead and slather it up.
ALL PRODUCTS RETURNED...
And that's what should happen to these companies taking advantage of anybody. Who do you think you are?!!!
@ Lindsay: Look at you! What a smart woman you are! And you gotta tell us all that you can read! Thanks so much and I really hope the feeling of predominance will still linger a little longer to feed your small ego!
I called them too and they never ever said anything like that. I was not aware they would go on an charge me for stuff I have not committed to. This is in fact a scam as the company knowingly prevent to tell you (at least when you call them) that they will send you more than one kit and they will charge you for this, even though you actually might wanna try only one kit.
Every reliable company that is actually treating it's customers fairly would not do stuff like that! Ever! Stay away from this scam.
