Deceptive Advertising and scams

I recently purchased a starter kit for the Chaz Dean Wen product through Guthy-Renker. The product itself builds up on your hair with continued use and no longer works after a month. Also, Guthy-Renker does not adequately advertise that upon purchase of the starter kit you are actually comitting to 3 additional months of product delivery and an additional amount charged automatically to your debit/credit card. It is not clearly stated on the G-R site nor on the Chaz Dean homepage.
Guthy-Renker and Chaz Dean are obviously working together to defraud the consumer marketplace in this situation.
DO NOT ORDER THE WEN PRODUCT OR DO ANY BUSINESS WITH GUTHY-RENKER.

Larry, you can have your opinion, but as a customer, it feels clear that Guthy Renker and Chaz Dean are quite happy to get people on the line and get their credit card secured prior to fully disclosing all that the customer is signing up for. I am not an idiot. Yes, I read. I have a college degree and run my own business. And yet, I did not see (or was not directed to read online when I ordered) the information that explained that I would be getting a recurring automatic charge.
When I called, EVERY GODDAMN customer service agent told me what a "fabulous product" it is and that "I use it every day." BULL [***]. Sorry, I don't think Guthy Renker is giving this away to their hundreds of sales and customer service agents and it's a fat chance that working in a call center someone can afford a 36-45 dollar bottle of shampoo. Unless Guthy Renker only hires idiots who will defend the company and buy their dramatically overly hyped and over priced products while working at minimum wage, which is possible, since you work there, Larry.
suckage actually stated his/her opinion that he/she does not like G-R and their business model.
I feel the same way, suckage. It's a terrible way to treat people and not the kind of role model we should be uplifting for others to copy. It's just a step away from totally scamming someone.
Very concerned about all the comments I read here and elsewhere that say hair falls out. AACK!
#2 Infomercials are for products that do not sell well on their own. (SCAM)
#3 Do you know how easy it is to make someone with great hair look like they have crappy hair till they wash it, then wha lah beautiful hair, uh right. Fried, frizzy, crappy hair fixed with one washing... BAH!
#4 Say What? 1 Product to make your hair perfect? Then why am I sitting here looking at what 6 or 7 items on the screen for the kit? What school did they go to? Fire that math teacher one is not six or seven.
#5 I called one night because I was bored, and I asked the same questions over and over rephrased many different ways until the rep was completely confused. Basically I trolled the rep to get her to tell the truth and she did. Needless to say I did not purchase it. I do not color my hair, I have thin blonde hair, I do not use ANY products other than Shampoo and conditioner that are very gentle, I do not even have a split end, yet my hair falls out like crazy, and the only bounce it ever sees is when it falls out and bounces off the side of the tub. I kept rephrasing these same points over and over until the rep said this shampoo is really for people that use a lot of products and damage their hair with color, straighteners, perms, irons (curling & straightening), hair spray, mouse, etc. It really would not do much for my hair at all. So I asked if it really helped anyone and since her guard was already down she replied with, well its good to change up shampoos and products because hair gets used to the same product if used all the time rendering it ineffective.
#6 What? That's not fair? Well my friends a fair is something that comes along behind the circus which is what, SCAMS if you play the rigged games. An affair could be more fun, but don't expect a paid entertainer to play fair while counting their money pushing a product.
#7 In case you missed my #1 Let me refresh your memory... If it seems too good to be true then it is.
Use common sense people, come on!
