Got mail from Car Safe to call them at 1-866-364-3336 to "Extend Your Vehicle Coverage". I called 02/09/2010 & Robb, the sales person, answered. He looked up my car (2006 Chev Malibu), asked how many miles (53,700) and in a doubtful voice said it's hard to cover a high mileage vehicle. Then transferred me to the approval dept.
That person asked about repairs completed, accidents & if it ran ok now; also warned me they didn't want any fraud situations. Satisfied, she sent me back to Robb.
Robb didn't want to answer my questions, still worried about high miles and in general gave me smart-ass remarks vs answers to questions. I hung up as I sensed I was wasting my time.
Robb called back & said I really needed protection since I even had trouble using a phone. I asked how long he'd been in sales. Since he was 14, said Robb. I asked if he hadn't figured insults don't lead to a sale. He responded that when he sold cars he greeted customers with " Gosh! How'd you make it here in that thing". Again I hung up, or had trouble using my phone.

Some on like beter business beau rue should look into it
that I spoke with (Krista Zielinski) and send her some of the results that I got when I searched on "carsafe" and "enterprise finiancial group. I want this company to see what's being said about them on the web before I report the to the Federal Trade Commission.
Federal Trade Commission. The government has the power to sue these companies.
*(Adam) asks me if there were anyone over age 55 I said yes, my wife and I also that we're retired and on a fixed income, he said I might qualify for a discount (2-discounts)
1-I get what they call a retirement discount from $495 to @250 and
2- I get a $100 deductible a year for the next 5-yrs.
Yes I was confused as to how my name came up in the first place I don't think they knew if I had a 2008 Highlander in fact he didn't know it I think they are a scam and I will check w/my dealer
BUYER BEWARE If you have bought, contact the BBB...I see several listings of resolution when they put on the screws. this business is not BBB approved and has an alert on it.

P.S. - even calling to discuss reimbursement for rental car use was a hassle . Every woman that answered the phone acted as if I was bothering them and they were the customer . I considered launching a verbal attack of my own on them to remind them who the customer was but my kids were around . Another thing for you potential buyers to consider
You must be a flamer, but please keep it to yourself. Before you get into other posters and their mothers, check that your own house is in order (viv-a-vis : "decesions"). I assure you that I have more degrees than that rectal thermometer that you suck on, and anyone making claims within the "standard" 30 days or 1000 miles should be referred back to their contract. At the same time, I think it is nonsense for claims to be denied on the basis of "pre-existence" after this waiting period. The onus is entirely on the warranty provider to PROVE pre-existence, rather than denial based on their self-serving OPINION. Pappanastos spins a good story on u-tube, but the EFG situation makes me wonder if he's not just a Greek Doucebag in disguise. Proceed accordingly.
Thank You!
Thank You!
Never did the notice they sent me indicate that they even knew what make of vehicle they wanted me to insure with them. The offer for an extended warranty program, they sent was full of deceptive looking statements and page layout formatting. That offer contained lots of buzz phrases known in the marketing business to generate their target customers an urgency and fear of failure to respond.
Already lots of "red flags" are apparent in Requested For Immediate Action-Time Sensitive Material Enclosed piece of mail they sent me.
Thanks to those above who reported the responses they got when calling the phone number that the mailed out sales literature demanded be called.
So many "Red Flags," and that should fully settle the matter for potential customers to know they should not call that phone number. They should also never give that company any more information about themselves, their vehicles, their credit card numbers, or any other of their personal identity or financial data.
