Annoying phone calls

Ok, the number 702-520-1131 keeps frigging calling my phone and when I pick up it's an automated voice that says "This is the last warning that your factory auto insurance is going to run out" or something. I hang up every time because our auto insurance is fine. I have no idea where they got my number from but I want them to stop calling me.

    not sure your theory about time of day etc is right on.  i have been home for the last 5 months <out on medical leave> and i NEVER answer a call for which i do not know the caller.  this has not stopped these [***] from continuously calling my house.

    just thought i would comment.

    Here is some more numbers to look out for: 310-599-9155, 702-520-1236, and 760-520-9163. I have been getting calls since Oct 2008 when we had comcast home phone installed. What a pain!! They, one or the other, call at least once a day. Real low lifes. I think I'm going to start some calling of my own!

    Utah Code 13-25a-101 to -111 prohibits unsolicited automated phone calls, and it also provides for the recovery of statutory damages ($500 per call) and attorney’s fees.  Digitcom indicated that the owner of (702) 520-1273 was a client of theirs, but would not disclose the address of the owner.  For anyone in Utah receiving these calls, an option is to contact a lawyer, have your lawyer subpoena the (702) 520-1273 owner's information from Digitcom, and pursue damages and attorney’s fees.

    That is my point, the automated service will continue calling at all hours to pinpoint the time that you do answer.  If you do not answer, they try a different time.  This process could last a year before they give up, the point is to NEVER answer numbers that you don't recognize.  I've been getting VERMONT 822-525-4519 lately.  You have to rely on your voicemail as a screening process, these auto-dialers NEVER leave a message, just let every call you don't recognize, go to voicemail.  Thats the only solution I have for now.

    Yeah and the company YOU gave them too insulated me, belittled me and quite frankly pissed me off even when I numberously said I am not interested and thank you for your call.....he had the tenacity to say it was my fault I didn't hang up and wasted 20 minutes of my time at work even when I had told him where I was.  Would not even let me speak with his supervisior and or manager.  Nice work on your reputation as a company that can not take responsibility for their actions.  Maybe you should research who YOU do buisness with.

    I live in CANADA and I get these stupid calls to my cell phone. I asked them to take me off their list and I still keep getting the calls. I DON’T EVEN HAVE A CAR! I phoned DSI @ 310-358-7000 and spoke with someone who said that I'll be taken off their list - lets see if it works. They were even kind enough to give me a complaint number. The guy I spoke with was not surprised at all. But I mean really, how dumb are these car warranty people when they don't even know what country they are calling. Good luck to my American cousins trying to get their numbers off this list. If their calling CANADA I can't see it stopping in the good old USA. These idiots are just morons!

    I've got the same thing now - 3 days
    I've got the same thing happening 3 days in a row now, always around the same time, all from numbers originating from Digitcom.  I don't answer it but ignore the call.  One of these days I'm going to answer it and have some 'fun' with the person on the other end...

    This is pretty funny... There is someone out there finding out all the info on Digitcom their alias Wildgate and their corporate officers, check out

    They have all the corporate profiles on that site above.  Sounds as if this person was harassed one too many times.  You should read both pages 1 and 2.  This appears to be a California company.  Thank heavens there is someone out there who is pursuing this.

    Same here.  I've been receiving these calls from Digitcom every since I installed Vonage.  I contacted Vonage and they were of no help at all.  I look at my caller ID and don't answer the phone, but got so annoyed at one point 3 months ago I called them back and told them to STOP!!  They said they'd take me off their list.  NOT!  I did a reverse phone number search and it indeed is Digitcom in Culver City - 310-485-8984.  Now I'm also receiving calls from Paetec in Los Angeles.  I don't anser, but again did a reverse phone number look-up.  I've added them to my Do Not Call Registry, but don't know if that will work.

    These jerks must be stopped - and maybe a class action suit would be in order.

    Sounds like Digitcom outsources their people from third world countries. That damn explanation just doesn't cut it for me. These damn people keep calling me from 909-842-9108. [***] already!!!

    Well... I guess I'm not the only one who has been receiving those calls.

    I just did the reverse phone# thing on the 702 (Vegas#), listed way back on page 1 of this thread. I figured it was a call bank of some sort. Didn't know it was this big though.

    Anyway... I'll keep checking back to see how long this thread gets before some agency does something about em.

    Btw... I never knew this site existed till I Googled Digicom...lol.

    I'm bookmarking it now. :-)

    Please disconnect 6198018156 for harrasing constant calling recorded messages, reported to FCC that their license (digitcom) should be pulled if they can't control their customers.

    2 back-to-back calls from 702-520-1131 this a.m. on one of our roll-over business lines.

    Recorded message stating the call was in reference to a credit card account.  "There is currently no problem with your credit card, but it is imperative that you press "1" now to speak with a representative to reduce your interest rate to 6%."

    sounds attractive, but since I'm not in a trusting mode, I hung up.  I'm sure they will continue to call again and again and again and again . . .

    Digitcom Services is still held responsible since these #'s are still linked to your company.  If these marketing #'s continue to call ..I will make it my priority to get everyone together (in one form or another)  who has been affected , and determine the most profitable approach to resolving this matter

    Getting a leg up...
    I spoke with someone at Digitcom Services (800-464-5446) who owns all these crappin' numbers the solicitors are using.  They asked me for my name and the number i was being called on, and asked for the telephone numbers that the solicitors were calling from and said that she would block ALL Digitcom numbers from getting through to my line within 24 hours and then gave me a Complaint Ticket Number.  I redialed the number she gave me and it's still the same company with people on the other end - so try it out.  It would block ALL Digitcom users who are typically nasty solicitors! YAY!

    If it is happening on your network, then you are legally responsible and whether or not I collect a penny from you, you are about to encur legal fees sufficient to drive you into bankruptcy if you do not take care of 323-429-7856 immediately, Another call = sued. A formal complaint has been filed against your company with the FCC.  If you feel sullied now, you have seen nothing compared to what you can expect if you do not shape things up now.

    I want to join your club. We also live in Canada, and my daughter has been getting calls from not one, but at least eight different numbers- all traced back to digitcom, mostly from california, but also from other states. Just figure, being from canada, not going to be able to get any action. Am thinking about changing cell number.
