I am having same issues of Peeling leather sofa withing 9 months of purchase. I bought the warranty then also they deny saying that peeling is not covered in the warranty.

Less than 1 year should also be covered in manufacturing warranty but still they find excuse to deny it.

Please all of you login to www.bbb.org and file a complaint with Better Business beaureau. It takes less than 5 minutes to file the complaint and they will start addressing your complaint right away. File your complaint against both Ashley Furniture and Montage Furniture (Warranty Company) This will also reduce their BBB rating and BBB can take action against them it they are genuine issues reported to them.

It is better than putting your complaint here on this forum.  :(

11/23/12 purchased one power sofa Ashley 9480087 and two reclining power recliners Ashley t-608-8.within two and years all three pieces were pealing. Ashley will accept no responsibility for it  also the extendded warranty is worthless as it excludes anything that may happen to the furniture. Can anyone make Ashley responsible for inferior product?

We bought a chocolate leather sectional from Ashley and it too is peeling. It is two years old. When I called the store I was told it would be a $20 service call and $40 per hour for them to even look at out sectional. This is a real problem.

I have the same problem with Ashley durablend material, I contacted Ashley directly and hit a stone wall, also contacted the better business bureau, after reading all these complaints what we need to do is contact Consumer Fraud bureau. We need to make Ashley
accountable not only to us but for any other poor saps who happen into their stores!!!

I've purchased a 2pc living room set from Ashley for 2,200.00 along with the 5yr warranty in 2012. The arm of both furniture pieces started fading, along with the wooden frame around both pieces. Ashley was notified along with the company with whom I paid for the 5yr warranty. Neither one was helpful!!! I'm very much interested in filing a lawsuit, how do I go about doing just that!?!?

We purchased a faux leather sofa bed seven years ago or so and it started to peel within two years.  We went back to Kane's furniture store where we purchased it and they said they could not help us.  We were sick about it as it was not cheap.  I went to Walmart and got a cover for it.  At least we can still use it as a sofa.  I think it is disgraceful that both the manufacturer and Kane's would sell such an inferior product!

I have this durablend sofa, and the cushions are peeling. Called Ashley to find out how to order the cushion covers since it's no longer under warranty. I was told to send pictures. Claim sofa is discontinued. So what do i have to do, to get cushions covers. I see years of complaints about this problem. I wish i knew earlier about there awful furniture. I won't be buying from there again.

Filed my complaint today with BBB. Purchased a Dura blend sectional they told me the warranty covered everything that's  why I purchased it. One month before the warranty expired I found that the durablend material was peeling. Call the warranty company and they said only cover if a whole was poked in it. So tempted to poke a hole and call them back but just can't bring myself to do it.  There needs to be a class-action lawsuit against this durablend material, its Manufacturers and distributors.   Won't be purchasing from them in the future

We purchased an Ashley love-seat recliner and it is peeling.  Paid $750.00 for it.  First the top part then the cracks begin to peel.  I thought Ashley leather furniture was a good buy.  Evidently not.

Buyer BEWARE.  DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE.  IT WILL FALL APART.  Our Durablend sofa is peeling like crazy after just a couple of years.  We rarely sit on the sofa (less than normal wear) and it is peeling.  I am so disgusted and angry with Ashley Furniture.  I took the cushion from the couch into our local store where purchased and they said that there was nothing they could do about it.  Maybe so, but I will NEVER purchase another item from Ashley Furniture and will continue to tell all of my friends and co-workers.   Gary - Bowling Green, KY

We bought a very nice "real leather" living room set from Ashley Furniture. We paid about $3000. After owning it for about 2 years the "leather" starting peeling/ flaking/ falling off very quickly.   I called the Ashley store, as we had the extended warranty..... As I did research, I found out that they lied and sold us "bonded" leather. They were extremely unwilling to help & stated that the warranty did not cover this..... I'm sure most ppl have the same issue......

I also bought an Ashley leather sectional and within 6 months of purchase the leather began to peel on my recliner. Company I bought furniture from was very understanding and replaced recliner free of charge and delivery.  Within three months the replacement recliner began peeling.  We are at the point now where we are replacing the entire sectional with a Simon Li set for same price.

same here , I was told by the sales man, bonded leather was better so I bought it bought it twice, still didn't know the difference. two different companies. had the seat for about 2 yrs. thought that it was a faulty one or hair spray where the head used to be might have caused it. . so later I bought the love seat and was told it was better than  real leather. 2 of them started to peel in less than 2 yrs.  so now I know bonded leather is junk period......... but now the store owner tells me they don't buy from that company anymore , and he can't help me. rip offs.  no bonded leather please.
