Received a called from a Tony Walker regarding a formal complaint for defrauding a financial institute and that I have 2 hours to schedule something if not they will summons me at my place of employment or home with proper authority. I needed to contact 888-832-2686. When I call no one answers and wants to leave a message.  I had received a call from ACS a couple of month ago and they stated that I owe 2 people and when I told them that I paid it in full and have proper documentation they hung up.

That's exactly what they told me they also called a family member and left personal info with her which is a violation of the Federal trade commission. I called back and spoke with some rude, rude lady and she asked me to confirm the last four numbers of my social. I told her I was not going to she then said, well I can give you the first three. She got frustrated because I still did not feel comfortable she stated the last four numbers of my social....

I was contacted many times by several different agents of ACS, all with threats of legal service and criminal prosecution. I was not able to return all calls, but like others, when I asked for documentation, I heard them hang up or press for immediate payment. My most recent agent used the name Purvis Walker. Most had a definite mid-Eastern accent, some were even too hard to understand. The one name they gave me was close to an account I once had. I called the business and they said my account was closed and I owed nothing.

A female process server names Ms. Evans called my cell, my work voice mail and my 83 year old father to say I was officially notifed of a check fraud criminal activity and would be served within two hours. A case number and telephone 888-836-3414 was left on the 3 answering machines. My father was very concerned. I called the number and it was ACS. The idiot knew no Ms. Evans and said she was probably hired by the "State" and could not provide with with any contact information. She could not tell me what state I'm in. This is some type of scam for sure. I am still waiting at work for that summons. I cannot believe they are so stupid to leave such messages on voice mails for anyone to hear.

Same thing here.  "Joe Banks" called and left a message from ACS saying that I had 1 hour to call back or else a I would be served at my home or work for defrauding a financial institution.  I was left the number 1-855-245-6123 to call back.  Obviously a fraud attempt to gain financial information.  Don't give any information to these clowns!

I just had the exact same thing happen to my family.  My parents have been divorced for 20 years and I just received messages from my Dad and Step Mom that my Step Dad was being charged with financial fraud and if they didn't hear from him today that there would be a warrant out for his arrest.  I had no idea how my Dad and Step Mom would get involved in something with the Step Dad, so I looked up the number they gave me and found this website! Thank goodness I checked here before he gave them any information.  But he called the number back and it just kept ringing and ringing. 855-245-6123

Got a call from a Monica Evans about my daughter and a court summons for a charge for intent to defraud a financial institution.  Called and got ACS, I was given the number 877-501-9189. My daughter paid some money to try to make them go away before I had a chance to stop her.  She has requested verification of this debt in writing and it took two calls and 15 minutes of hold time to even get an address to mail her written request of verification.  The ACS we dealt with may be out of New York or the address may have been for the Cutter Group, who my daughter knew nothing about even though she is supposed to owe them money.  If you call ACS be sure to ask for Mr. Stone, he seems to be a ray of sunshine (not)!

I received a call from them stating that they got in touch with my wife's grandmother, her uncle, my dad. and my mom stating the same thing. They were going to serve me at work or office for a claim they had. I called immediately once they called me, the person who they were trying to reach. I told them that this was ridiculisious and would be filing a complaint against them. They shut up immediately and backed down quick.

I also received a call. They contacted people I haven't been in contact with for years. The number they called from was 866-447-4961. When I called back they refused to give me the address where they were located after I told them I was reporting them to the BBB for harassment. Don't be afraid of these people or give them any information about yourself.

I received a call today about owing money for a payday loan. I was immediately suspicious of this as i have not taken out any loans, and the "references" i have never heard of. I had called the loan company, and verified I had nothing out there.  The number they had me call was 866-450-5481. I had spoken with a Rose (real mean lady), that had told me to have fun in court watching my money wash away and then a Jason Ellington that proceeded to tell me that they do not have a website nor do they have a employer PIN from the federal government. Do not give out any information. The worst part was, they began questioning me on my husband and daughter, whom i just had 10 months ago. This is serious and scary

I also received a call today and she said she was Ms Thomas a process server with the state and that I had 2 hours to contact 866-497-0896 or they will serve me court papers to my residence or place of employment with the local authorities.  Said this serves as official notifiacation.  I am pretty sure a voice mail would NEVER serve as "official" anything.  They also called my boyfriends phone -  not sure how they got that number.  They left very personal information on voice mail which is illegal.  They also said if I do not call today, I will be a failure to appear (FTA).  1st off - you are only an FTA in a criminal matter and 2nd how can you go to court with out being served.  They are unbelieveable and I wonder where they are getting this information.

I also received a message on June 22nd named Bonnie, saying that she has 24 hours to serve me with court paper at my residence or place of employment with authorities and this message serves as notice of my service to appear in court for a debt I owe.  Also, that I need to call 866/450-4354 and referece the case number provided.  However, when I call no one answers and voice mail states that it is ACS offices and if I have been served I will need to speak to someone in the legal out sources department.  I have called several times and there is no answer.  I know this is fake because I know who I owe and I pay who I owe on time.  I just wondering how they get your information.

A family member (not sure how they got that number) received a message by (what she calimed to be) a process server with the state and that I had 2 hours to contact 866-497-0896 or they will serve me court papers to my residence or place of employment with the local authorities. The message also said this serves as official notification.  I am pretty sure a voice mail would NEVER serve as "official" anything. They left mis-information information on voice mail which really confirmed that is'a a scam!  They also said if I do not call today, I will be a failure to appear (FTA).  First of all you are only an FTA in a criminal matter and secondly how can you go to court with out being served.  They are unbelieveable and I wonder where they are getting this information?!!!! Also, I'm filing a report with the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission!
