Halunen & Associates is a class action law firm investigating Dish Network’s practice of charging early termination fees
(cancellation fees) to customers who terminate their service. We believe this practice violates the law. If you or someone you know has
been charged this fee, please contact Shawn Wanta at: wanta@halunenlaw.com or call at (612) 605-4098. Thank you.

With regards to above mentioned matter, not only does Dish Network charge an early termination fee, but they also charge to return their equipment which is not disclosed during the cancellation call. I have taken this matter all the way to their so called "executive resolutions" team who has refused to help with the matter. At this point I have filed complaints with the BBB and FTC.
I canceled because my internet is so slow (no matter the weather) that I can barely open anything. Recently, on the two computer icon that shows if you're on internet, there is no world on them. It is super slow!
Which I had to climb a ladder at 70 years old to take down the dish and remove a part that they wanted.
Beware anyone signing up to these net work company's they only allow it if they have access to your
account in order to obtain these fees in case of early termination. Also you are promised one price only to find out later that it is considerably more than they had quoted. There is just no way out except no TV.
Be sure if you send anything back to them, to ship it with delivery confirmation.
They have a habit of "losing" returned equipment, then sending some collection agency after you to collect on the "missing return" that was actually sent back.
They also have a habit of charging any card number in their records for what they claim are balances due, whether authorized or not.
After terminating business with them, it's best to notify your bank to block the card number or close the account, to prevent fraudulent charges from showing up months later.
If you have further problems, contact ;your state AG. They have settlements with a number of Attorneys General, over deceptive sales practices and billing.
