Halunen & Associates is a class action law firm investigating Dish Network’s practice of charging early termination fees

    We had direct tv and we not happy because of all the infomercials.  I contacted dish and was told that dish had only a few ads and the latest television shows.  Wrong!!  I started trying to cancel in June of 2016 and never got to the proper person to cancel. Every time I said I wanted to cancel I was put on and no one would pick up.  I once waited 47 minutes.  I called 2 times per month in july and august and sept.  I finally wrote to the ceo and stated I was cancelling.  Then the letters started- threatening lawsuits and collection fees, etc.  I had their gear up for 7 month before they provided me with boxes and labels.  I used the boxes and then I was told that I owed $575.  for early cancellation.  I paid them $250.  I continue to get emails and phone calls. dunning me.. This business is closed as fat as I am concerned.  They also hacked in to a credit card account so I don't believe I have anything to worry about.

    How much will my termination fee be? You have discontinued our local news here, and I need that plus channel 245 which used to have "dog stories". I'm really upset with your company.

    Have been having trouble with Dish for over a month.  Unable to record any program and cannot play any program recorded  before the problem started.  Support always says the same thing " I'm sorry but the problem will be solved within 24 to 48 hours".  Last night I watched a 2 hour program on channel 108.  The guide showed I was watching channel 49 for the entire time. Dish is not supplying the service they promised before the contract.  Customers should be able to cancel their contract with no monetary penalty.

    They autodeducted my early termination fees from my bank account in the amount of $750.00 just because they had my debit card info. I agreed to my monthly payment being deducted not $750 early termination fees.

    Dish dropped two of my favorite channels in one month after me signing up for new service......I decided to switch to directv who offers the channel and now I'm in the process of having to pay dish network $425.00 cancellation fee. It is sickening how they can do this without repercussion and they're still advertising as having these channels available.

    I have dish internet and hate it. I seemly always have no internet to speak. I had us cell before we decided to put our TV and internet on the same service. I have never been so unhappy with the Dish Internet. I can only describe it as not having any service over half of the month. Here I Go-- trying to cancel internet. Wish me Luck!

    Just got charged $180 in early termination fees that they said two months ago there were no fees.  I talked with someone about a week ago about closing my account...no disclosure of any fees.   Now, they are saying a $12 per receiver fee.  NOBODY told me about last week.  Frustrated is what I am

    I have only had Dish for a month and Very Disappointed, they lied no CW Network, False advertising, No AMC, Not happy with pic quality, and having trouble  does anyone know how much is early Termination?

    Dish is the worst of the worst I wanted out cause there service is so bad. I complain right form the get and wanted out but they would not let me out with out paying them a ridicules termination fee. I wish there was something that could be done with Dish they have screwed so many people over. I had one of there own people say they would not use Dish cause it so bad. Anybody have any advice.

    first, I will cancel my bank acct out, then, I will cancel out my dish, and dish internet, and then, dish can argue with my attorney for there stupid 'EARLY CANCELATION FEES", THEN, dish can respond to me,ONLY by mail! Its a new game called,HEY DISH, IS YOUR CORNBREAD DONE IN THE MIDDLE? And, dish can respond to me, ONLY, by mail! Hey DISH, you people over there in the smelly jungle, not very bright, are you?

    I cancelled my service with Dish because I moved to a place where I could get Spectrum again.  Spectrum agreed to pay for my ETF from Dish. The only problem I have is that it is going to take about a month to get my money from Spectrum.  I called Dish to ask if I could have more time to pay my ETF with them.  They said no and debited my bank account for $300 ETF's.  They have been very ugly with me when I have tried to work things out with them.  I am trying to get my bank to give me back my money that they stole from me without my authorization to withdraw these funds.  I only need about 2 more weeks before I will get my money from Spectrum to pay these thieves their money.  I have never dealt with a more difficult company in my life!!  Their wifi service was a total waste of my money.  I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    always have two credit cards.  Use one just for online accounts like dish, etc.  Only put in there exactly what you need when ordering online.

    I called DISH to cancel service and the guy told me that because I had equipment change three months earlier that my termination fee would be $420!!!!! That is outrageous. Can anyone had recent experience or can share advice? I don't like scare tactics, and that is what this feels like, but don't know what proper channels to take.

    Yes a few weeks ago Dish charge my card $320.00 for early termination they call it. Well I filed a claim with my bank and changed card right. Well just today's ago here we go again charging my new card. Now my Bank tells me I have to hash it out with DISH I have nothing to say to DISH but my voice will be heard along many of you if we band together and stop this company from this PRACTICE. Yes I have returned there EQUIMENTS AGO. I was disconnected for none payment when they knew it was cancelled services...….
