Halunen & Associates is a class action law firm investigating Dish Network’s practice of charging early termination fees
(cancellation fees) to customers who terminate their service. We believe this practice violates the law. If you or someone you know has

Crooks crooks crooks NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE 100% CROOKS LIARS AND CHEATS. THEY WOULD STILL THEIR MOTHERS BLIND FOR PERSONAL GAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For months I have been trying to get Dish to fix my DSL line. I finally had all I could take and I spent 5 hours on the phone. My DSL connection drops nonstop. They claim it’s not happening and it's my problem not theirs. After 5 calls in 1 day I managed to get a tech dispatched. He stood outside looked at the wires and left. Told me he could not talk to me he was from Century Link. I call Dish back asked why he did come in side and check the gear. They said he was not dispatched for that reason but they had good news they planned to waive the $110.00 service fee and the problem is fixed...I told them he did nothing and I am still dropping my connection. They want $741.00 to terminate the contract. They told me they do not guarantee service. It was suggested I move my home office to another part of the house ...the family room or master bedroom so I have a short distance from the box...crazy people you can’t escalate on them. They put you on hold and about an hour later the line goes dead.
I should have suspected it could not be that easy. The day Charter installed their services, I called Dish to cancel. After surviving the expected pitch to continue their service, I requested a final statement with the fee stated in the form of snail mail or email. They responded that it is not their practice to do EITHER. When I tried to call again, hoping to get a better response, I got a recording that I am no longer a customer and I have two options....hit #1 for "order new services" or hit #2 for "pay my bill NOW".
I think if I am willing to pay the fee, I should be entitled to a statement of some kind as to that fee.
Now, I am upset with Charter too, because I think they must have know it would be near-impossible to get this fee in "writing" and they won't reimburse me unless I do. They won't accept a bank statement, which is the only proof I will have of their fee being deducted from my paltry account.
