I am constantly receiving harrassing phone calls from this Co. looking for Debbie White. She used my name as a reference whithout my knowledge so this co calls me...I repeataly told them to stop, they told me that they are going to come out and arrest me,, Yesterday 4/8/2010 they called and said that they are taking me to court..this has been an ongoing problem. I want it to stop NOW,   here are the numbers 1-949-502-0123, 1-916-458-5665, 426-606-3786...

    I have been having the same problem with these so called "foreigners".  They also have been calling my employer almost everyday.  If these so called people are scammers how do we send them a letter telling them to stop calling my employer if we don't have enough information on them and any type of address for them.  When they call different phone numbers come up on my cell phone.  One of them was 0000.   I would really like to get some information on how we can stop these a--holes!!!!!

    I OWE MONEY FOR A PAYDAY LOAN WHICH I DONT HAVE ONE THIS THE VOICE AND SAY HE IS A OFF JOHN WHITE THERE #'S ARE 718-247-4468 ALSO 213-537-3896 I SPOKE TO THE POLICE DEPT AND PUT A HARRASSMENT CHARGE AGAINST THEM SO THEYN BETTER WATCH OUT BECAUSE THEY ARE LIST TO ALL PHONE CALLS AND I AM SURE THEY WILL BE ARREST

    They are just a bunch of liars, frauds, and extortionists with telephones.  They can't do anything, and there are many authorities in this country who would like to nab them if they ever showed up here.

    I have been harassed by these same people for 3 years now and my experience with them has always made me follow four simple rules so that the collection agencies who call me can't intimidate me into paying or to even acknowledge the validaty of any debt in a manner that would lead to a reduction or waiver of my legal rights. These rules are:
    1. screen all calls through answering machine informing them that sales calls will not be accepted.
    2. Reject all calls from unknown numbers or ones you don't recognize.
    3. Call them back after they hang up to obtain any company identifying information that you can.
    4. Never confirm your identity to the calling party until they identify who they are and why they are calling. If they insist upon knowing who you are say that you are an attorney or consumer affairs employee.

    They called me many many many times... I blocked the number and month later the phone call came in as an emergancy number as if 911 was calling me so i answered and I WAS THEM!!! That's when I made the decision to file a police report and I called them back and told them I did and that their scam was all over the internet, the guy said "f*ck you" and hung up the phone.  Don't fall for this scam... they can be very mean but DONT give them any info and call your local police department!  I haven't heard from them since.

    Here are more of their number 810-673-9283 and 310-907-8065. Caller ID displays the 810 (MI based land line) number yet he tells me to call back on a 310 (CA based land line). Strong Indian accent and the same man uses diff names each time. Agreed with an earlier posts that these are not landlines. The quality is horrible, there are strong buzzing sounds along with echos and interference. When you call they do not have the commonly heard warning that your call is being recorded. They will not provide any factual information corroborating these fake legal cases. Refuses to send info via email or mail, just relays softly threatening verbal comments like: "I wish you the best of luck as the situation unfolds on you."
    I have never received a payday loan, so how they got my information is very concerning to me. He devulged that he has all my personal information including my SSN.

    You must think we are fools.  I have gone to the police and the DA's office this is such a bunch of B.S. Steven White has threatened my family my job cursed.  Said my social life would be destroyed he cursed out my co-workers.  called and harassed my family.  Trust me they have not heard the last of me.  I am going legal and because they have broke every law when it comes to debit collections the will in turn have to pay my debit.  It is all good.  I am done I may even make them pay for some therapy sessions.  They have driven me Nutz.  But I will get them back not only for me but for all of you.  Stand your ground keep records and voice mails.

    Both my wife and I have been getting harassing calls from 239-259-1493. The claim we are guarantors for debts of our son from Cash Advance America. Heavy accents make it so the person, Carlos is barely understandable.

    If the don't back off we have their address and will take legal action

    I to received a call from Michael Anderson from the  American Law Division. They are calling on a new number 213-373-1768. Address they give is suppose to be in Los Angeles California now. Since I am so meticulous with our bank account I knew that no one had done a payday loan back when they said it had been done. Please don't pay these people a cent. They are very conniving!!!

    These people called my house 4 times within a 5 minute time frame. It almost sounded legit until I kept asking him questions. He tried to get a little rude and pushy so I got rude and pushy back! I proceeded to google them and called them back. Someone answered the phone whispering "hello". So much for a legit legal business. I told him I was reporting him to the Attorney General's office and he started to beg me to allow him to give me another number to call. I gave him a nice chewing out and he hung up on me. Stay tuned.....

    Yes, I have been receiving the same harrassing calls since May 2010.  The man sounds like a robot, and his English is not that good strong accent.  He keeps saying that "also sueing my SS# and for check fraud. He will not give me specific information or mail me anything.  He also leaves the same message "if you or your attorney does not get in touch with all I can do is wish you good luck".  Only thing he ever said was that it was from charges regarding an Online Payday loan.  I told him I have paid all the loans I receive online and that my bank statements will reflect what I have paid and the deposits I have receive".  He does not listen to me.  I spoke with an attorney "they said a company cannot call you and say things like this to you.  There are no charges pending against you." This situation has distress me sometimes.  I am glad I read your post, I feel better now.  What can we do??

    Yes the person that calls me saying " they have a case against my SSN was in California then in Florida.  They will not send you any information, just sound like they are reading a script."  this falls on you, I can only wish u good luck if I do hear from you or your attorney".  I try to call back and these numbers are busy all the time. a COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO HE SAID His name was Richard Parker with number 619-331-6593 and a month ago his name was Lewis Parker at 305-328-6855.  HA! HA!  I want to get these people now!!

    I just recieved a call from the American Law Divison as well and they had all the information on me such as name, address, work number but wrong bank information and wrong home number. they stated that they had a payday loan that i took out in 2007 and i have not ever used one of those but i needed to pay it back. They wanted 1002 from me and then i started to think about it that the dates that he gave my ex husband and i split up and not sure if that could have happened to be from him or not. so i was trying to make an arrangement to get my name and information cleared out and he came back with an amount that was at 409 to pay today. I explained that needs to be broke down into arrangments and he said i had two hors to pay it or the sherrif's office will be at my door. I then requested to speak to a supervisor or lawyer that he placed me on hold to speak to and the same guy named Abe Walker came back on and said his name was Gary Jones attorney at law.... i asked what state they worked out of and they told me Florida. I searched for the attorney's name in the system and came up with one attorney named that in the state of Florida and he worked in Miami and the address they said they were located at is in Jacksonville. This sounds like a scam and i am calling around and pulling my credit report to see what they are stating is true. I am not bashing the company if it is real but when they tell me to shut the F up and listen to them... i become a little concerned for the business ethics and need to get that cleared up as well. I was hung up on when i asked them to not cuss me out and when i called back, i had to call back 15 times to get a gentleman named Scott Snyder (manager over Abe) answer the phone and have him cuss at me for calling them and harassing them at work... if i am someone you are trying to get things taken care of with then why would i not call you back???? This does sound fishy to me and I have already sent emails to the state attorney general and also printing out a letter to the state's commissioner for consumers office to get to the bottom of this. I am just trying to protect my identity and keep my name clear as i do not need that at all on my record.

    They are reported to be a scam.  Just a bunch of criminals running a phony "payday loan debt collector" phone extortion racket.

    Regardless of their threats, or what information they have pulled from credit reports or old payday loan applications, they are phony.

    They are reported to have gotten access to credit reports and skip trace information, which they use to fake "debts", as well as make harassing calls to employers or relatives.

    They are often reported to be calling from overseas, probably India, and often use VoIP, which allows them to spoof their caller id information.

    Why would you expect that sending them a letter would make any difference?They are a bunch of criminal con men/extortionists.  Nothing more.
