I am constantly receiving harrassing phone calls from this Co. looking for Debbie White. She used my name as a reference whithout my knowledge so this co calls me...I repeataly told them to stop, they told me that they are going to come out and arrest me,, Yesterday 4/8/2010 they called and said that they are taking me to court..this has been an ongoing problem. I want it to stop NOW,   here are the numbers 1-949-502-0123, 1-916-458-5665, 426-606-3786...

    I recieved a call from a Jessica Hall or Hawk (couldn't tell by her heavy accent) that I was being sued for $300 on the counts 1. being check fraud 2. being a closed checking account and the 3rd I cannot remember. It was from an online payday loan from US Payday Loans but they said they had many lenders connected to US Payday Loans but couldn't tell me exactly what lender filed the lawsuit. She then transferred me to the payments dept to offer to settle out of court or go to court. Long story short, the guy I was transferred to told me I wasn't cooperating because I knew nothing of what they were talking about and called me "DEAR"...the number that showed up on my caller ID was 760-111-1000 and the number I was told to call to pay was 760-279-3882. Is this a scam? Because when I called the 1000 number back it said my call could not be completed??

    Yes, it is a scam.  

    These are a bunch of criminals running an a phony "debt collection" extortion racket via phone from India.  

    Any debt they claim you owe is fake.  No one owes these criminals anything.  They can't do anything to you but annoy you with phone calls.

    the same company called me aND TOLD ME THAT I HAD AN OUTSTANDING PAYDAY LOAN ,BUT I ASK HIM WITH WHOM AND HE COULD NOT TELL ME OR HE WOULDNT HE SAID TO FAX THAT I OWED THE DEBT AND I COULD PROVIDE INFORMATION AND IT COULD BE DRAFTED FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT YEA OK ILL GET RIGHT ON ITTHE NUMBER WAS661-724-6412 THE GUY WITH HEAVY ACCENT SAID HIS NAME WASJEFF MATTHEWS AND THE OTHER ONE I TALKED TO WAS JACK AUSTIN . SO MY SUPERVISIOR TOLD HIMN I QUIT AND JOINED THE CIRCUS SELLING PEANUTS OUT OF A STAND LOL HE WAS NOT HAPPY AND HE STOPPED CALLING THE FRONT OFFICE NOW HE CALLLS MY OFFICE.. I AM TIRED OF THEM HARRASING ME AT WORK

    I received calls yesterday and today from this group, supposedly the American Law Division - Mike Anderson.  Mr. Anderson also called my mother, who lives in another state.  When I called by the number given 281-763-0495 Alex Acosta answered and said that they had been retained by Cash Advance America, who owns 170 payday loan sites.  They said that I owed $5,897 for a loan that I took out in the amount of $450 in October of 2009.  He was unable to tell me exactly which site granted the loan and when asked how, if they had my bank routing and account number, they had not recaptured the repayment he was not able to answer.  Both "representatives", and I use that term loosely, spoke with very thick accents and were condescending and rude.  

    I have reported them to the IC (internet crime division) of the FBI.

    I also received a call from a guy with an Indian accent stating that his name was James Anderson. Same thing, he kept saying that I owe him some money regarding a payday loan. He also called my co-worker and told my coworker that I committed a financial fraud and that I am a thief. He left me vm on my cellphone stating that he is from Americal Law Division.He also said that if he doesn't hear from me or my attorney, he wish me good luck as the situation unfolds on me.

    Beware of phone number (281) 763-0495. This is the phone number of that James Anderson guy with Indian Accent that he says he works from Americal Law Division. He will use all kinds of threat, even call you at work, calls your friends, co-workers and tells them that you committed a financial fraud and that you are a thief.

    does it ever stop...they just call my job and left a voice mail and another on my cell phone with the same message on both...threatening me etc..how do we get this to stop....(GAW)

    I too have just started receiving extremely harassing phone calls from "The American Law Division".  These calls are coming from a lady named "Michelle Williams" and she is calling my phone upwards of 10x a day and leaving a voicemail every time, saying the EXACT SAME WORDING like from a script.  Today alone (it's 11:30 am when I'm typing this), she has called my phone at 7:31, 9:29 and 9:36 am.  I was in Munich, Germany last week and she called my phone 6 times in a row from a number that showed up as 052797777.  Another number they are using is 863-614-0702 from Lakeland, FL.  I finally called them back and never could get a hold of "Michelle", but finally got someone in the "legal department" who used threats and said I was in "serious trouble" and that I was going to court to settle this issue and that a warrant had been out for my arrest for 6 months.  I told him to stop with the threats and tell me who he was "representing".  He ignored that and said that he knew the company that I worked for (which will remain nameless) and that they were going to garnish my wages. I told him to stop with the threats right then and tell me who he worked for.  He said that it was a payday loan from USA Funds and that I needed to pay right away.  I told him that I was not going to pay anything because I had never taken a loan from them.  He said he just needed my insurance information (?) so that a warrant could be served to my house (right.... if they are going to serve you with a warrant, they know how to find you and they certainly aren't going to call and tell you it's coming) and I said "Just stop with the threats right now and tell me who you are representing and I'm not paying anything until you tell me who you are".  He then got mad and said "FINE" and hung up.  Do NOT pay these people ANYTHING!

    I have been receiving calls from american law division and the man has a very very strong accent stating that my ss# is under investigation by the us government. the number that keeps calling me is 863-614-0702. this is really annoying and i wish it would stop.

    Today i recieved a call from a man claiming he works for this same law division because i do owe for the payday loan times are very hard for me i only work a parttime job and trying help my son because he is incasarated he do not expect a lot  because he feel like he put himself in that situation so i am jusy trying to be a mother.But these people calls me everyday ,at home ,on my job,threatening to send me to jail,filing charges on me for freud,filing with the
    Tomball Polce Department.telling them on my job all kinds of stuff.

    I've been getting calls from Michelle, Nick Thomas and Scott Snyder, all with foreign accents.  Number they are calling from is 786-539-4784.  They tell me I am being sued and my soc sec# is being sued and that if I don't respond they wish me the best and God Bless for whatever happens.  When I attempted to speak, the person supposedly Scott Snyder would cut me off.  When I attempted to give my real attorney information, he was ready to hang up right now.

    Same here this guys by the name of Harry Smith called so many times and he said if i wouldn't payi'll be going to jail this is the number to look out (1510)722-6019.He has all my info including my ss. What should i do?? Can someone help??

    i received seven times  a call like from this +51 072 260 19 telling me i own then n they are going to put me and jail just watch out for this number n worst thing you cant understand them at all and when i ask them to sent me information about the loan supposely he said he need to talk to the lawyer.

    I've received numerous calls from "American Law Division" about a case againts me saying I owe some payday loan company 1,200 dollars but I can settle for 700 but only wants debit card,pre paid card.or credit card he wants this money without giving me any contact information from the other party I asked him to fax me actual documentation showing my debt and he woulndt he just wanted the money he threatend that I would be arrested he actually told me to go to Walmart and buy a pre payed card so I can pay him since I mention I lost my wallet they only want debt or credit and these pre payed cards so u can't trace it later unlike a a wire transfer were u can easily trace it don't trust it my friends ITS A SCAM!

    American law division was blowing up my home answering machine leaving messages for my girlfriend...had her freaking out.looked them up online and thanks to you guys we know what's up..they used (786)539-4784..the names used were Michelle williams and victor jackson..such american names and can't speak a lick of english.OH, by the way got an app for area code finder co.is out of miami florida the# is a landline,& Telcove investment LLC,FL.  Call whoever ya need to, let's sure these a@# holes...
