I am constantly receiving harrassing phone calls from this Co. looking for Debbie White. She used my name as a reference whithout my knowledge so this co calls me...I repeataly told them to stop, they told me that they are going to come out and arrest me,, Yesterday 4/8/2010 they called and said that they are taking me to court..this has been an ongoing problem. I want it to stop NOW,   here are the numbers 1-949-502-0123, 1-916-458-5665, 426-606-3786...

    I received two calls back to back from a 424-245-8092 number. These calls were 3 minutes apart claiming to be from a Mike Johnson. The guy said he was calling on behalf of US Cash Advance and he was with American Legal Division. He went on to say that the company was taking me to court for check fraud, embezzlement, and money laundering. He had a thick accent. What caught me off guard is he said I was going to be in big trouble if I didn't call back. So, I called back trying to get things straightened out. It went to a voice mail. I told them that saying things like "going to get in big trouble didn't sound professional". He called back. Before I knew about this scam I had given him my debit card number with the security code and had authorized them to take a payment of $50 out of my account. He had me send an email to an oddly spelled email address saying that I agreed to pay back the amount of a loan and settle out of court. The email address is ".....eddiesmith@financiel.com....." Note the spelling of financial.. An hour and half later the funds still had not come out so I called them back. The guy answered the phone saying hello. What company answers the phone like that? So, I began asking questions. I asked what company doesn't debit a payment immediately? He said they had to wait until 12 because they called the company and didn't get an answer. Sounded fishy to me. So, I began asking questions. The name of the company, legal documents, phone number for the loan place and so forth. He said not to worry about it. That when the payment went through I would receive conformation of the payment. He gave me a number for this US Cash Advance place that was similar to the one he called me from. While I was on the phone with him I goggled the American Law Division and US Cash Advance. I tried calling the number he gave me and it goes to an automated system. He again said it worked and then said fine if you don't want to pay them you will see what happens. The second number he gave me is 424-244-6058. The website for this cash advance said that the American Law Division is doing fraud scams. I of course had to call the bank and cancel my card. These people are not answering their phone now and haven't returned my call. GO FIGURE!!

    Well I think they got tired of me calling and asking for information. By the time I got to the 4th person and different information every time.. The guy had the nerve to tell me not to call there anymore and hung up on me! This is the info I was able to get from them. When I talked to Patrick Martin I asked if he knew a Mike Johnson. He said that he went home for the day. I asked if he knew of American Law Division. He said it was some company in America.

    No one at this number would give me an address. Said that he didn't understand why I wanted that info.

    When I asked for a phone number for US Cash Advance directly this is the number I was given. When I called the lady said she had never heard of me or American Law Division and that those people shouldn't have given me that number. This was some of her info.

    this company called me today and the guy called himself Jerry, a very common American name. he had a very distinct accent.  he claims that I had some serious charges against me. I thought to myself, let me google this so called "American Law Division", to see if its in fact a "real" company.  I am so glad that I found this site with all these wonderfuly helpful comments.  Thanks Guys u r life savors.....although I was not going to believe them any way. this company and their antics are way too funny! LOL

    "Us cash advance judicial system" is typical of the ridiculous "legal gibberish" names they use.

    Only your complaint shows up on searching on 424-244-6058.  It is not uncommon for phone numbers for this type of scam to have short runs of complaints and then go quiet, since they keep changing their numbers.

    Address is fake.  It's a courthouse in LA, not a "debt collector", nor an "attorney".

    Their BBB reports show them using several similar courthouse addresses, including in both LA, and San Bernardino.  They appear to be using them as part of their scare tactics, attempting to con suckers who might try to look up the address.

    Numerous complaints report this.  Best guess is they are scammers calling from India or Pakistan, using cheap VoIP phone service, which allows them to cheaply change their numbers, and also allows them to fake caller id.

    Some complaints report they have access to and use credit report or skip-trace information, such as SSN, DOB, relative or employer information, etc.

    They are criminals calling from overseas.  They cannot carry out their threats.

    today i have 2 phone calls telling me that i owe money for a payday loan when i ask whats the name of the company they said usapaydaycash but i never make any loan with that company and they said i owe $571 and the only way to pay them is going to walmart and get a pre-paid visa card and when i get the money to call them, they didnt give me any address or any other info but they said if i dont pay i will be charge with 3 different charges, i will lose my job and more stuff i really got scared this is the first time something like that happened to me, this is their phone #: 760-111-1000 and 760-713-6517. the guy that answer the phone (his name is PAUL) sound from a different country i barely understand him and he gave me until friday to pay but also he mentioned his boss name, MARK JOHNSON. they never tell me their LAW FIRM name.

    Someone named "Sam" called me from " American Law Division" and kept asking me about an account that I never knew of, he told me to hold and I hung up. He called right back and said, why did you hang up on me, so I gave the phone to my husband and he cussed my husband out calling him the b word and mf!!!...I hope they are not terrorist with our info.

    We received numerous calls yesterday from 760-243-0266 in which told me that they were calling from the American Law Division. He told me that he could ruin the rest of my life from sitting in his single chair. He called me on cell and work, my husband and my father. I am uncertain on how our names and contact numbers were provided but I am extremley upset. He told me that it was a payday loan from 2007. I advised him that I filed bankruptcy and he hung up. I called back numerous times and they would not answer. I got my husband to call and they answered. He asked them if they needed our attorney's name and contact number along with our case number and he was told no that we need to have the attorney contact him. I told him that I was going to call my local Sheriff's office. He told me to do that and everyone knew who he was. He told me his name is Jonathan Knight. I filed a police report and I also contact my bankrupcy attorney. I am going to persue this matter and try to get this to stop. Any suggestions from anyone.

    I have been getting harrassing calls from them daily about twice even up to three times a day regarding a cash loan. Saying the are charging me with check fraud, and were going to give me a sopena and going to come to my place of empoyment and residence to arrest me. This is ridicoulous and harrassing and even scarey. The contacted my husband at work, regarding this matter.

    Is there anything I can do to make them STOP!!!???

    I am receiving phone calls from American Law Division, the names they are now using are Matthew and Brian Hunt. They have a very thick Indian Accent. would not tell me what company they were representing, but said I fraudently used my daughter's name and she is suing me. They also gave me a phony website www.flcourts.com and the name of an attorney David Gray located in Florida. They are using a new number 786-539-4784. SO Beware!!! I reported them to the State Attorney's office in PA. Happy holidays!!!

    i just had the same problem a foreign lady calling me saying i owe a online loan which i know i dont owe..harrassing me at work and at my house..this is very fustrating..the man named johned hung up on me after i continued to ask what it was regarding..threating to put a warrant out for my arrest..(786)539-4784

    Somebody with a very thick Indian accent claiming his name to be Richard Johnson calling, telling me that he is from American Law Division stating that a legal application has matched up to my name and attorney has decided to move forward with my case and  I will get a call from court within 48 hours and a sheriff will appear at my doorstep and my references and employer will get a subpoena to appear, would I take care of my case or they will take care of legal procedures.  They wished me the best of luck as the situation unfolds on me.

    I think whoever has the means or smarts to start a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against these people we SHOULD!

    I have been getting calls from these people since summer.  They are everything that everyone has said they are - the numbers I have are 704-251-9518 - 281-763-0495 - and several numbers that I have reported to the fraud division for Indiana. I have come to the point where I don't answer the calls but they leave voice mails which I have saved, of course there are so many of them that they are taking up tons of voice mail space.

    They have been calling the general information line for my job. Told one of my co-workers to shut up and put me on the phone. Asked why i keep hanging up on them. Calling the FTC and my Attorney General today to report this. They started calling me stating his name is either Derik Smith, Lisa Jones and a few others. Im sorry but their is no way this guys name is Lisa Jones. They dont speak English well at all. Threatened my mother that she needed to release information regarding my whereabouts. Informed them that the person they are looking for no longer goes by the name they are looking for due to the person getting married. Called my bestfriend then asking what so and so goes by now a days. Number is immediately being traced every time it calls since I work in a federal building. Good luck to everyone else out there recieving calls from these pricks.

    My last two phone calls were from someone with a very very thick accent...like her real name was Samantha Jones!!! 863 - 455-1172 was the phone number...same standard story, they read this from cue cards!!! American Law Division and they want my attorneys name and phone number - I'm angry that I was stupid enough to fill out a payday loan app and they got the numbers from that!!!! I did contact agencies about filing complaints and noone, even FTC or phone companies were interested, saying it was too small of a deal....how disappointing is that when we have pages and pages of complaints and equally as many that don't write on here. We need to compain about noone protecting our right to not be harrassed by these agencies.

    I received 3 calls from this number.  The calls were from a male with a very thick Indian accent. The first two left messages. In the messages he said that he was from the Department of Investigation and that my situation was very very bad and I should have my attorney contact him immediately.  Also, he said his name was Chadwick Martin, and if I didn't have my records attorney contact him then all he could do was pray for me because the situation was soo bad.  Each time he sounded like he was reading a script and very unsure of himself.. like someone was putting him up to it.  The third time I answered the call since I don't have any loans out and I told him that I was filing a report against him and to keep talking so that I could get more information.  He had my home address and said that he was going mail the subpoena for me to appear in court.  I told him to keep talking because I was recording the call.  He sounded even more nervous and then hung up.  Curiously a couple of minutes before the calls started I received a junk text on my phone from Last Chance Payday Loan.  I hope we can find these guys!

    This morning i was awakened by one of these calles they called about 5 times then i answered.. the man demanded that i settle my debt and called me a lier!!! when i said i was at work i was very angry decided to research and found this site.. he will hear from me on the next call. Thanks every one

    I am receiving these same types of calls from 1-786-539-4784.  When I realized that this call was a scam,I played along for the first few calls.  Then told him that I had ben playing along because I knew it was a scam.  He then threatened me.  Yesterday his name was Jason O'Conner and today his name is Bruce Hansen.  He threatened to abuse me since he knows my address and used obscene words.  I told him that I was going to report him and he said I do not give a f%#@ because they won't be able to locate me.

    Jan. 2011...Yes, I have received calls on my cell phone and work line.  It is the same thing mentioned before.  And when you ask for any information, they get upset or hang up.  You can barely understand a word they are saying.  It also sounds like they are in someones kitchen at home.  The number that calls me is 863-455-1172.  If you ask for information they also transfer you a thousand times and you still do not get any answers. Ahhhh...get a life!!
