I am constantly receiving harrassing phone calls from this Co. looking for Debbie White. She used my name as a reference whithout my knowledge so this co calls me...I repeataly told them to stop, they told me that they are going to come out and arrest me,, Yesterday 4/8/2010 they called and said that they are taking me to court..this has been an ongoing problem. I want it to stop NOW,   here are the numbers 1-949-502-0123, 1-916-458-5665, 426-606-3786...

    THIS INDIAN SOUNDING MAN CALLED ME AT WORK AND THREATENED MY LIFE AND ALso MY CHIlDRENS life.  I RECORDED THE CALL.  I HAVE RETAINED AN ATTORNEY.

    I believe this to be a cell phone -- 760-383-1867.  The call originated from (011)052-7977 which is in India.  Voice mail does not state name of company but simply says, 'please call again later' in broken English.  These types of calls typically threaten remedies that are not available in the United States such as arrest warrant and prison.

    i had a man who said his name was Alex Watson  727 484 3690 and I had a payday loan that Easy Cash sent thru 4x and I never had the money in my acct. This a lie I have never heard of Easy Cash. I received this same kind of call back in Dec saying I owed another company and a different amt and stupid me fell for it and paid them and then I looked up American Law div and read all this stories that are just like mine where they threatened you and they call my work. I called them the next morning and told them to have my money back in my acct in 48 hrs thankfully it was there so never give your acct info to anyone over the phone or internet. Is there any charges I can file on them. Of course they probably do not have an address. I spoke with James Peterson and he could not hardly speak english and they will not let me talk to anyone that does but of course no one there probably speaks english.

    this company keep calling 4242446058 dept of investigation..threatened me that they would send a copy to my work place, and to my bank and call all my family and tell them about i owe them.....i'm thinking if you have do all of that....to try and scared me to pay when you said you was taken me to court go that 4 what you know.....this company is a joke.......they can't do crap to you but keep calling, and threaten people....

    I am too getting calls from several people. One said the name was John Oconnor and said if me or my appointed attorney did not contact them immediately all they could do was wish me luck as the situation unfolds upon me. They called my brother today telling me they were going to place a block and trace on my social security number for fraud.How do you get them to stop.I do have some existing pay day loans but are all current.

    does anybody recognize this #863-455-1172 i been hgettingh a call from this number numerous times. telling me i will get fired from my job, get arrested and other threats if i don't pay up a loan that i owe. crazy. they state that the company name is american law division.

    Just received a phone call at work from MARCUS SLATER 760-383-1867. My boss pretended to be me to get rid of him. I called him back and he asked me for my information. I then went on to tell him that I will not provide any information but was recording the call and if I receive one more phone call I will call the police/FBI and report harassment. He then hung up on me... I'll  be interested to see when he calls back.

    I just got a call today from someone who had a heavy sounded like Indian accent that said he was from American Law Division.  He said he was a paralegal representing Marcus Slater who was an attorney for them. He told me my sister had committed financial fraud (although I did not admit I knew her), and that they needed to get a hold of her asap.  The phone number they gave for me to give to her was 760-383-1867.  I told them I did not know anyone by that name and I told him I would take the number to give to the local authorities because if anyone used my name in a "financial fraud" even as a reference I wanted it reported.  He abruptly hung up.  Now, I will say that I do know that my sister did take out a payday loan a couple months ago. I do not believe she did it online however. I think she went to a local store.  How in the world did they ever get my name?

    My husband said he received a phone call from the American Law Division today. The guy's name was Alex Parker. I'm a paralegal for a Tax Law Firm and told my husband I would call back to get more insight on what was going on. When I called an arabic man answered the phone. I requested to speak with Alex Parker and he kept asking me for my name. I told him that wasn't a cncern and I needed to sepak with Alex Parker right away. The guy put me on hold for aprox 30 seconds and then came back and asked for my name again. I said I was calling on behalf of my husband and gave him the name. He immediately went into threats about us having a payday loan and him going to court. I told him that I handle all the financial responsibilites in our household and would know about a payday loan. He continued to threaten me even after that. I told him that I work for a law office and we would sue the company if they continue to harrass him. I also stated that if we get one more call we would be turning them in. The guy immediately hung up on me. We have been receiving calls from all sorts of companies saying we owe on loans. Looks like we will be getting new numbers to stop all this nonsense.

    The second you stand up to them and tell them you will turn them in, they will normally back down.

    THEY HAVE CALLED ME ALL DAY TODAY ITS AGGRAVATING. THEY DONT TALK ENGLISH AND THEY CALL FROM A 911. I CALLED VERIZON AND BY LAW YOU CANT BLOCK A 911 BUT THE OTHER NUMBERS THEY CALLED FROM I PUT ON MY BLOCK LIST 315-496-1201, EXT. 777....661-532-8461 AND 347-566-4058 (WHICH THE NUMBER WASNT GOOD FROM THE BEGINNING).  SOMETHING AHD GOT TO BE DONE. WHO THE F ARE THESE PEOPLE? PUT THEM ALL BEHIND BARS! AND TELL THEM TO LEARN ENGLISH. AMERICAN LAW DIVISION AND OTHER COMPANIES THEY SAY THEY ARE. AT THE END THEY SAY HAVE A BLESSED DAY. YEAH OK THINK OF ANOTHER SCAM.

    i got call from three different company saying that i apply for loan and the money was transfer to acct and i never pay their back . i ask their can they tell send me the bill and the date of the money transfer to my acct and he told he can't do that,until i pay their.he also said that if i don't pay today his company going take me to court. i told i am not going pay him because how do i know that was my bill,i keep ask him to send my bill he said no and hang up on me. i call him back ask what his company name and he call me b word and hang up again. just yesterday rob smuphy call me from american law division with  the same information again..i miss first call so he left me message how they going to sued or take me to court if i don't call him back and take care my bill. since is late i didn't call back. but to superise i got another call from rob smuphy at 6:00 am this morning. i was so mad so i call back to tell their if they want me to pay for the bill, please the bill to my and let see first and he just hang up on me..this three company that call me are all asian guys,,,i can tell by the way his speak to me..so i call my lawyer up and he told i have filed compalin with federal trade commission and i just did it right.

    They have been calling me for 3 weeks.  Each time they tell me if I don't pay by 5:00 I will be arrested.  I spoke with them yesterday and told them to send me a copy of the paperwork.  They cant because it's sealed.  My attorney said there is no such thing.  Every time I ask them for information they don't have any.  Well you can't take me to court or arrest me without any supporting documents.  I'm sick of it.  They call from 760-111-1000 but want me to call back 419-595-0793 & 760-713-6517.  I don't know how many times I've tried to give them my attorney's number and they won't take it.  They want my attorney to call them.  Next time they call I'm going to do what my attorney said and tell them I want to go to court (to fight it out) as they say.

    I got 2 calls from a female, who had an accent I could barely understand saying do not ignore this call, blah blah.  I call back and ask what company it is and I get hung up on.  I call back and speak to"Jonathan Knight" who says he has to look up my info.  Calls me back and says I'm gonna be arrest for fraud from US Cash Advance.  Tells me its a lawyers office although I can hear 90 people yelling in the background as if he worked at the stock market.  He tells me my social and my name and my case number, says the line is recorded, 3 counts of fraud for receiving funds but not paying back.  I tell him I have no clue what he's talking about and he hangs up on me.  I call back.  Someone else hangs up.  I keep calling, they won't say a word just answer and sit there.  I keep calling back, somone else SUPPOSEDLy answers.  Says its a law firm, tells me the same thing, fraud I will be arrested Monday, blah blah.  Can they talk to my lawywer, I said I have no idea what ur talking about so I'm asking who he works for, who is saying these fraud charges, I want to invetigate (i'm getting ANGRY at this point b/c I can't understand half of what he is saying b/c of his accent!) and when I say I want to investigate this further, he hangs up on me too!!!!  I unfortunately did apply online for a loan, so I'm sure that's where he got my info, but i never got any money or followed up on the thousands of emails that responded about the loan.  I'm thinking about calling back and telling him that I reported them to the local police and the FBI!!!

    So I called and told them that I got hung up on 3 times and that the local police and the FBI were looking into it and he either sat there and wouldn't say a word, or he hung up on me AGAIN!  :)  I'm glad its fraud or a scam b/c I was worried at first.  I"m like arrested OMG FOR WHAT??  The idiots have the NERVE to ask me if I had been arrested for fraud or any criminal activity before!!!!

    i also have been getting these calls the number is 661-532-8461. they called my job and told them if they didnt put me on the phone they were going to arrest them. i tried calling the number and cant get anyone to answer just says call back. i told them to dtop calling that my lawer would get in contact with them and so far they havent called back.

    They are criminals running a phony "debt collection" extortion racket, callilng from overseas, probably India.

    They are not "attorneys", "investigators", "officers", or any sort of law enforcement.  They are criminals making threats on the phone.
    Their alleged "debts" are entirely fake.
    If they appear to have some of your identity information, it proves nothing.

    They appear to be getting U.S. consumer information either from phony Internet "payday loan" sites, or from access to credit reports and skip-trace information, allowing them to harass relatives or co-workers as part of their extortion racket.  

    If you profile the many complaints, although some are associated with recent payday loan applications, many indicate never having applied for any payday loan.  This indicates the likelyhood that at least one credit bureau or skip-trace service has been compromised, and is allowing criminals to obtain access.  

    They are also likely to have obtained access to EFT payment processors, to transfer payments abroad.  If anyone has actually paid these scum, please post how their charges showed on your account, and also provide that information to the FBI.

    File complaints with your local police, and the FBI.  Notify your employer.

    If they call, tell them they have been reported to the FBI, and the call is being recorded as evidence.  Or just hang up.

    From the deluge of recent complaints, it looks like they are increasing their level of activity.

    I am haveing the same thing these people are calling me and now calling my friends . How do you stop them ?  I am not sending some one my id and cc no by a fax they are out of there minds. Some guy named marcus? . They are   insting I own someone money and I dont . I have proof. If they cant send me prof that I owe something I not paying.
