    Had one of these calls.
Took precaution of not replying, but looking up Lloyds published number on their website, and calling that - they transferred me, and it turns out it was a genuine call, someone had tried to draw cash from an ATM in Japan with a cloned card.

This is a genuine number - BUT if you have the slightest doubt, please do call the bank on their published numbers.

I can confirm that this number IS genuine as of 10:00 today =]
I had this call and ended it straight away. Then rang Lloyds TSB and sure enough, there was a transaction attempt and the issue was resolved.  I would rather have had the call than not.  Thanks to Lloyds =]

That number called my home phone this morning and it spooked me a bit because it really is hard to tell whether or not these calls are legit, so I went to the bank just to check out what the trouble was and it was just a transaction of MINE that I wanted to allow, was instead rejected by the bank as a precaution. It was just from Sony but still you need to know that this is NOT a scam, so go talk to Lloyds and an account manager will call the number for you or talk you through your latest transactions to see whether they are ones that you have made or someone else has stolen your details and trying to use your account. It is ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry so don't just inflate your ego and ignore the call thinking it's a scam, don't answer it or call back if you are that worried but DO go talk to Lloyds because they will tell you it is their number and help you to understand your situation.

I looked on this complaint site after googling the lloyds fraud number and I am shocked at the amount of people who claim this is some kind of scam! I wouldn't be surprised if they themselves are scammers trying to prevent people from figuring out that their money is being stolen! It is a legitimate number and you should go talk to the bank to put your mind at rest.

Can confirm that this number is genuinely from the Lloyds TSB fraud department. I tried to make a online purchase using my debit card via PayPal and this was rejected.

I thought little about it and thought it was perhaps the website being down.

Got a the call and I was a bit suspicious of it so I hung up.

Instead I rung the usual phone banking number and was reassured that it was a genuine call from their department and that my card was put on temporary hold as precaution for my earlier purchase.

The hold was removed shortly after a few security questions regarding the attempted transaction and recent activity from the account.

So PLEASE PLEASE take note of this and call your usual phone banking number to discuss and remove the block.

I made a part payment to my insurance company on the 9/10/13 by debit card. To my surprise they told me that this was declined. I tried again and the same thing happened. I proceeded to phone customer services and the lady told me the the payment had gone through and gave me an authorisation code.

When I spoke to my insurance they advised me that payment had not been received. I then phoned call centre and spoke to a gentlemen with a Scottish accent. He advised me that the payment was earmarked and did not go through.

The amount was for £46.00 and they keep me on the phone for 45 mins. The outcome was they would not replace the amount and offered me £10.00 plus £15.00 for my call.

How could I get my £46.00 back to pay my insurance.

Please be careful dialing the Lloyd's Fraud Dept. My company (a web design company) has 0845-605-1755 and we get one call per day from people misdialling. Lloyd's are on 0845-603-1755.

This is genuine LLOYDS call. I was making few transactions and last one was rejected. (I don't usually do 4-6 transactions a day) I called them back and automated voice asked to confirm my surname and confirm my date of birth by choosing right one from 3 options. Then automated messanger read out list of my 3 recent transactions with dates and exact quotes. If something wrong you have option to speak with human operator who ask you to give them sort number and account number. After confirming my transactions blockade was lifted and within seconds I was able to continue with my transaction which gone through straight away.

    It's a genuine!
I was a bit taken aback by the claims and suspicious of the automated voice at first but was only asked to confirm my phone number (which they had rung me on) and date of birth.
They then read you the blocked transaction and your two previous transactions. If they were made by you all is fine, if not your transferred to a live team member to sort it.
People always troll these sites to scare, when it happens to them they're going to feel the fool.Cjh

It is genuine. I was very suspicious of the call (and the text message sent to my mobile) so immediately hung up & checked my account online.

Sure enough, a pending debit card payment of £30 to "O2 PrePay Slough" definitely not authorised by me as I'm not (and never have been) an O2 customer.

A phone call to the Lloyds number printed on the debit card - they blocked it & they're sending me a new one. They rang me back to say they're sending me a form to fill in, refunding the £30 & that two more transactions were attempted after the card was blocked.

So... in this instance the number is legit & my account could have been seriously compromised if I'd ignored it.

I'm not suggesting that people should automatically trust calls/texts of this nature. IF IN ANY DOUBT, CALL THE NUMBER PRINTED ON THE BACK OF YOUR CARD. Also, check that you have a dial tone before dialing  in case the previous inbound call hasn't disconnected.

    HAPPENED JUST NOW.

I'm being 100% genuine, I have no reason to lie on this post.

My grandparents got called by this number (08456031755) claiming to be LloydsTSB Fraud department.

So my Grandmother instantly hung up, and phoned Lloyd's bank herself. Explained to them the phone call and gave them the number

And THEY CONFIRMED it WAS their fraud department, however looking into the transactions and her account, nothing was suspicious, nobody had taken money out of her account, and all transactions at her local shopping place were made by her. She does, the same routine every week, on the same days. And,didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Yet they keep ringing her up.

She just asked them can you just call me if something is suspicious and stop wasting her time. And they said yes.

    End of story.

I have BT call blocker on their 8500 handset. Yesterday, Sunday 14/8/16 I received a total of 4 calls from this number spread across the day, none of which came through to me. When I checked on this site & saw some people think its a genuine number for Lloyds Fraud Dept, I was puzzled because I was one of those who were hived off onto TSB from Lloyds a while back so I rang them, and they made a number of enquiries in a number of different fraud depts., and came up with nothing. This is NOT a legitimate Lloyds number, although they have some account info, it is obviously OLD information held for a lengthy period, & in my case completely outdated, but they will still try their luck & try to have you over.

Does anyone know the telephone of LLoyds Debit Card Fraud Dept.  I am ringing 0345600 4862 which I was given through Lloyds Fraud Dept but not getting any answer.  I also rang 0845 600 4862 and was told to ring the above 0345 number.
