I purchased ''Maverick'' tv series from these crooks before I read about the dozens of complaints about this rogue trader.I would just like to warn people about purchasing complete tv series on the Internet, especially those series from the 1950's,the vast majority of which are not in the public domain.Stick with the reputably established online companies like AMAZON etc.

Question: Has anyone here seen fraudulent charges to their credit cards besides the order they placed with TVaddicts.tv and similar sites? In other words, once they get your credit card information, do they use it freely to make additional fake charges? Do they give the information out to other crooks?

I guess this makes me feel a little better, but only time will tell whether they give out my credit card info.
Thank you everyone who has taken the time to write about your horror stories with this company. They almost got me for this Christmas holiday. Stay away from these guys below:

They are all scammers. Merry Christmas!
I was in a hurray last December, trying to get some old Batman DVD's for my 12 year old Autistic son.
He had found the site and was so happy that he had found the ones he wanted.
So silly me,ordered, paid and of course...
got DVD's that looked like they had been copied from a TV.
Totally unwatchable terrible picture & sound.
What a disappointment for my son.
Valuable lesson learnt;"Always google for complaints on a site before you order!"
Of course they have said they will refund the money, but haven't as yet.
Won't hold my breath waiting!
What goes around comes around....one day they will get caught.
I started buying Night Court seasons as soon as they were released, one by one, since I do believe in respecting copyright laws. However, WKRP season one, which was released commercially, was incomplete; the company that owned the rights to the show apparently could not acquire the rights to the clips from actual popular songs that were featured in the series. Instead, they re-recorded those song clips, and even overdubbed character dialogue which took place during them.
Under the circumstances, I have no issue with holding on to and enjoying the WKRP DVDs I purchased; if the company with the rights to a product are unwilling to provide it to the public, then consumers should be free to find such products from whoever is willing to provide them. Having said that, as soon as I collect the complete seasons of Night Court, I plan on throwing out the old DVDs I purchased from tvaddicts.tv; I do not condone the pirating of materials that have been made commercially available by the owners of the rights to such shows.
I almost bought the complete DVD of the Murphy Brown series. Fortunately, I decided to take a look in the web to see if there were any complaints. Thanks to everyone for their useful comments which avoided me to loose money and time.
Best luck, Nat from Switzerland

To my surpries, Just like you, I got my order with Tvaddicts's "courage the cowardly dog" 4 disks DVD today, ordered on 11 JUL 2010.
The DVD's quality is not the best but not the worst i would say they are good enough for me.
I get a pleasant surprise.
I was wrong to take this advice and not block the card.
A month later my card paid for trips to Jamaica, Dubai, posted several hundred pounds to Africa, bought curries for my unknown "friends" and also topped up their mobile phone which incidently is the first way they test the card is still active with a £20 top up request. It amounted to £3500 plus but I was lucky, I acted beyond mastercard who were happy just to refund me all the money and not bother chasing up the criminals!!!!
I did my own investigation with the Police who were brilliant and we nailed a group who had bought the card details online. Unfortunately, we could prove a link to whom they'd obtained the details. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
