Complaint

Country: United States
This collections company keeps calling my job. I've told them time and time again to stop. I've suggested them to take me to court and to quit calling my job. I work in a call center the phone lines are for customers and family emergencies. I cannot have personal phone calls. They call very rude and unprofessional. I can't get any information their telephone number is 855-868-2577. Please make them stop calling my job before I get fired.

quit taking out money and choosing not to pay it back
That language indicates she is attempting to intimidate you through illegal and deceptive threats. She cannot just send something to "payroll" and take your money. Any debt collector would have to sue, serve you, win in court, and get a garnishment order. Just making threats is not only illegal, but tells you they are looking for suckers, so they are trying to scam you.
Indian or Arabic accents are also commonly reported with these fake "payday loan debt collector" extortion rackets.
This is a con.
They may be just calling at random, hoping to reach someone who took out a payday loan, or they often use information obtained from fake "payday loan application" websites. People looking for payday loans may have entered their identity, SSN, DOB, and bank account information at one of these fake sites, so they can make it look like they are collecting on an old "payday loan".
Tell her they have been reported to federal authorities, and all calls are being recorded.
I do not owe them a thing. They tell me my ssc number over phone and have my old checking account number.
I have not recieved anything in the mail from them. I dont even know what this is about.
The phone calls started 2 weeks ago, and consisting of 5 to 7 a day. AT MY WORK.
I tried to ask for her name, she said it so fast I couldn't get it, I then asked where she is located, she said Kansas City MO and it was Total RS, however after reading the above I now know it's TRS. I hung up after reading all the above comments and they still keep calling my work number. After I hung up I called the FTC and filed a complaint. The FTC told me that any form of collection for a debt has to be in written form by mail, no faxes or emails. I am not giving them any information and I suggest you don't either.
The trick you out by using a local number that isn't even theirs. I hung up on him and he called me at work saying he needed to get in touch with my HR department.
I just want to pay what I owe but I know my rights. And they are not taking my wages. Kiss my ass.
