TVaddicts.tv, ultimatedvdshop, tvbox, dvd avenue

Country: United States
There are several internet websites which I believe are scamming the public. Those sites are known as TVaddicts.tv, ultimatedvdshop, tvbox, dvd avenue, to name a few. All these are affiliated and called "sister" sites.
I was going to order a dvd set and found large price discrepancies among all these sites for the same item! I tried to call the phone number posted on each of these sites (which by the way is the same number for all of them), and was met with an answering machine no one every picked up, or I was cut off, or I left messages and have sent emails receiving no response at all.
Why would I ever trust these sites enough to order anything from them when they don't even have someone answering their phones? And on top of that their live "customer service" chat person can't even help. I suspect they are in another country since their written English skills seem to be lacking. I don't want some unsuspecting consumer to get burned using these websites.

After doing a bit of research, I learned that all the seasons are not officially available through FOX(the distributor), which leads me to believe that they are homemade pirated versions as some other bloggers have noted.
Do yourself a favor. DON'T PURCHASE ANY PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY!

Ps. Contact your bank about this and you should get your money back. They can take YOUR money BACK OUT of those [***] accounts. Tell them that the websites that you bought the dvds off are frauds.

It appears the crooks were reading the above board.
Also I do have a working number but they seem to be a service (I think) since they talk like they are simply handling their customer support. They said they'd notify the above site with my request but IF they did the Site has ignored it. OH the number if anyone wants it is 1-800-787-1219 Not sure how much good it will do but there it is anyway.
They are in Canada so WHY doesn't the Canadian Gov do anything about them?
I think maybe the way to go is to report them to the MPAA (much like the RIAA) and let them try to get them shut down since it seems both our governments won't, and they (MPAA) are the ones loosing money from these ripoff artists and have a more vested interest in seeing them shut down rather then going after the 15 year old kid downloading songs off the internet.
And these companies (fox etc) have offices in both countries and would stand a better chance of getting some action (ie. high priced lawyers) more so then us induviduals trying it.
