TVaddicts.tv, ultimatedvdshop, tvbox, dvd avenue

There are several internet websites which I believe are scamming the public. Those sites are known as TVaddicts.tv, ultimatedvdshop, tvbox, dvd avenue, to name a few. All these are affiliated and called "sister" sites.
I was going to order a dvd set and found large price discrepancies among all these sites for the same item! I tried to call the phone number posted on each of these sites (which by the way is the same number for all of them), and was met with an answering machine no one every picked up, or I was cut off, or I left messages and have sent emails receiving no response at all.
Why would I ever trust these sites enough to order anything from them when they don't even have someone answering their phones? And on top of that their live "customer service" chat person can't even help. I suspect they are in another country since their written English skills seem to be lacking. I don't want some unsuspecting consumer to get burned using these websites.

well, miracles do happen, they just happen to have it, the last item listed on the page, gee isn't that a little funny ?
i checked for a phone number or address nothing, only an email address. so instead of giving out my credit card number i used a safe card number provided by my company specifically for internet shopping. TV ADDICT.TV DENIED IT ! said i was a high security risk & my order was denied but i could call a 1-888 number & discuss it with a represenative. I called & got a recording that number 280-7123 was not available. So I went online again & poked around. Sure enough i found all their sister sites listed above. they never answered my call & when i went to go back into the website my access was denied ! i saved myself $119.00 for the dvd set plus another 25.99 for customs, shipping & handling. A total of $144.99 i would have been suckered out of !
By the way, for those of you interested in NYPD blue (the whole series-12 seasons) the torrents can be found for these for free. Someone recorded them, pretty decent qaulity, and is sharing them with everyone. Thanks to the one who did this, I got to enjoy the entire series. Good luck.
SPREAD THE WORD PEOPLE!
I placed an order for "THE NANNY" on 8 Dec 2009 but was rejected due to security measure.
But on 12 Dec 2009 I received an email informing me that my order has been successfully processed and will be shipped out shortly. Within the same day another email received stating that the order has been shipped and my credit card was charged and i was given a tracking number to track the shipment.
The number could not be tracked and emails to them with reply, they are having technical problem, to wait for a few working days, the order will be delivered.
Now one month later I still have no delivery and all my emails to them
was ignored.
As I'm not from the USA, (by the way I'm from Malaysia)I've no ideas how to go about making a police report on these. I just want to alert others of these scammers and i think the relevant authority should shut down these phoney websites.
And my tracing also ended up in china. I recived some of my order on time, but all of it was pirated and some of the discs contained something i did'nt order. I have tried e-mailing and calling, and there is aparently nothing i can do to get my money back.

Russia might be getting richer little by little but the process will take long and my rough guess is that as long as Russian are generally significantly poorer than the so-called West, there will be lots of crime in Russia, partially directed at Western consumers. To say it in a nutshell, some Russians try to take advantage of the internet so as to scam "starry-eyed," naive Westerners. This site, tvaddicts.tv, is just one of their sites dedicated to stealing credit card numbers.
